The lavish courtroom of Yuan Shu, a courtroom which used to be occupied by Grand Administrator Zhang Zi, who has since perished. Come here if you seek to join Yuan Shu's forces of if you wish to talk diplomacy with Yuan Shu or are a member of Yuan Shu's forces and need to roleplay out something of great importance.

The JourneyFrom Xia Pi, it was not a long journey, but with his troops following close behind him, it was a grueling one, the great warrior had never expected it would be this tiresome, this dreadful, yet he had not traveled for a while, and was clueless of the dangers of traveling so far... He had been ambushed by bandits and petty thieves at numerous occasions on the journey, of course none of them can possibly stand up to Zhang Liao...Zhang Liao knew he was nearing the castle, he had 'sensed' it, hell, there were no other ways of knowing, so sensed it he did He stopped every 5 hours to give his troops rest, they desired more time than a thirty minute break but you don't get what you want in these chaotic times... When the last stop had been made before reaching the castle, he told his men to stay there, they all cheered in joy, yet when Zhang Liao began riding away on his Swift Wind, they begun to worry...[Soldier] "My Lord! Where are you going?" [Zhang Liao] "Hmph, I am going to meet the great Yuan Shu, it seems you guys cannot even walk for more than 5 hours straight, pathetic...." [Soldier] "But my lord... If you could... Why are you on that steed of yours?" This being said, Zhang Liao was stunned, speechless no doubt, a lot of things were crossing his mind, some being what Yuan Shu is going to feed him when he gets there, the other being how this rude soldier will die, he was thinking over great ways of skinning him and making him go through pain, but then he changed his mind, Zhang Liao was not the kind of warrior that killed his own troops... Or tortured them for that matter...[Zhang Liao] "I'm leaving... Stay here, I'll see you guys soon" With this, he continues to make his way to the palace rapidly...At the PalaceZhang Liao had made it from where his troops were to the Palace in 45 minutes, it would have taken much longer with the troops, but being alone he could ride however fast he wanted... When being allowed entry from the guards, he made his way to where Yuan Shu resided. When there, he stayed a fair distance away, but stayed not too far either, he bowed his head and began to speak[Zhang Liao] "Lord Yuan Shu... I am Zhang Liao, I have longed for this day, the day I become a warrior under a great general such as yourself, please, allow me into your service, I do not want to go all the way back to Xia Pi, it would take too long, and my troops are restless...." He then awaited an answer

~The Cry of Night~
What can be told of the current state of Xiang Yang? It is night, the usual cold wind chill of winter blew throughout the land, causing creatures to find some form of shelter to get warm, mainly humans. Cold was usually a worst enemy and less preferred weather for humans. The sky above took on the colour of a navy blue while the stars took their usual formations, although, they were actually moving, it just didn't seem like it from down below.
The guards did their usual routines, some were getting weary, it was fairly late at night. They sometimes chatted to keep awake, they wanted sleep, but they had a job to do and the rule of Yuan Shu was firm and punishment would be carried out if they failed in their duty. The land was in chaos and a assailiant could come at any time to wipe out Yuan Shu and therefore cause his kingdom to fall into chaos.
The outer guards let in a fairly small figure covered in a cloak into the court of the great Yuan Shu.The figure nodded then proceeded into what would seem a complete change of atmosphere. it was warm, bright and lively inside the grand court. The newcomer shed the coat off and it revealed a handsome young warrior. He wore silver armour, mainly just a helmet and chest plate. a light blue over-robe was on top of this and made his look that much better. On his back were two short swords, going diagonally making a X shape. At both his right and left sides were two pockets, these held many little double sided throwing knives that were invented by the man himself. Theman's face was handsome, compared to that of Zhou Yu's. He had a clear and perfect structure of a face, lushious eyes and bristling facial hair. He was only 19 though, just about to reach his prime.
The young warrior was Rei Kang, son of Rei Xun. His family were members of the Yellow Turbans. he lost his father when He Jin led forces to attack Jin Yang which was his father's prefecture. He was then placed into the care of Zhang Liang. Soon, Zhang Liang was killed by Yan Yu and Rei Kang left. he travelled south, passing through Luo Yang, Wan and Xin Ye, before finally stopping at Xiang Yang, where he was now.
He began to walk foward through the palace, admiring all the great structures, the pink banner was a very large presence and every soldier wore at least some clothing that had the colour. Yuan Shu's rule was disciplined to the limits. Advisors ran chaotically through the chambers and threw papers around, shouting at each other and disputing. Rei Kang shook his head and stopped 100 paces before the seat that Yuan Shu held, due to the strict rules. He lowered himself to one knee, like he had been taught by his father and spoke.
"Lord Yuan Shu, your name reaches far from your domain.I, Rei Kang, a young 19 year old has come across your city and now is asking for a place. I originally served under the Yellow Turbans as my father wished, however, they died out and now I'm here. I want to make a name for myself and seeing that you are.........lacking........skilled officers, this is perfect......."
Rei Kang was respectful, but yet arrogant at the same time. He was incredibly confident in his abilities as he had practised day and night, honing his aim and swordsmanship......

(If he doesn't come on the power of Ruler of the Econimic and Diplomatic affairs go to Dong Xi while I get Military power. I think that is a good plan considering that Hua Xiong isn't too intelligent.)

(Hold you're horses. Haven't been on this site one day and they're already talking of taking my power *Not long ago he had gained this grand city of Xiang Yang by the Emperor and now there were talented men coming to his throne, asking to let him join his great army. With a large smile of satisfaction, Yuan Shu examines the two men in front of him. First there was Zhang Liao, the warrior from Xia Pi. By the looks of it, the man possesses great strength, but that was not an attribute that showed Yuan Shu how well this man could lead armies into battle. But still, personnel was scarce these days, as not much talent was on the surface. Yuan Shu nods to Zhang Liao. Whatever he was, he was ready to come all the way form Xia Pi to here, and on the way there could have been plenty of times where Zhang Liao could have been lured away from his path to Yuan Shu.* "Zhang Liao! I admire your determination. Coming here all the way from Xia Pi... That is not something a common man could do these days without getting robbed. Or mutilated. My army is growing ever since I have got here, and I sense your presence here is but another sign from the Heavens to me, telling me that I am on the right track. I have great plans, and in these plans, you, Zhang Liao, have just received a place. I welcome you into my army." *Finished with his first visitor, Yuan Shu looks to the other man, or rather, boy, who wishes to join his army. With a smirk Yuan Shu watches the young man before him. Though arrogance spreads from his tongue, his knee was already bent for Yuan Shu, something that the ruler had always liked. Obedience, loyalty... Great characteristics, but hardly ever found in one person's nature. But this one was still young. Was loyal to the cause his father fought for: a better China. Something Yuan Shu was going to fight for too. So many options began to pop up in his head as he watches the young man and then finally, after a few moments of silence in the throne room, Yuan Shu breaks the silence.* "Young Rei Kang... You appear to have quite some potential. The warriors of the Yellow Turban Rebellion were brave, but stupid. You seem to only have heritated their better feats. As you have shown the world today you are far from stupid. Wanting to allign yourself with myself means you are brighter in the head then any of the Yellow Turbans. At such a young age, I fear you will not be of the same value to me as Zhang Liao here, but with his guidance, you can grow out to be the most feared general of my army! I have faith in you young man, so I can not do anything else but accept you into my ranks. Welcome."

Rei Kang turned to the man who was supposedly meant to be worth more than Rei Kang. He grunted with only a small amount of approval, how could this man be worth more than him? Sure, he had heard the name of Zhang Liao before, but to be told he was worth more than Rei Kang was very angering......however, he held in his arrogance slightly and replied....
"How Zhang Liao manages to surpass me has yet to be proved, however, I shall do what you wish."
With that said, he stood up, bowed once and turned to leave. He eyed Zhang Liao as he left, before leaving the court of Yuan Shu.

Gongsun Zan mounted on Aphrodyt cautiously looked around the outside city. He made his way up the steps to the famous Yuan Shu's court, he dismounted Aphrodyt and demaded her stay. He pushed the ajar doors open slightly and crept inside. He walked through the hall to the throne room and looked around he walked towards the commander and bowed with his knee on the floor. He said some word his face still staring on the floor and him still in a bowing position and his right arm behind his back and left supporting him on the ground.
"May this unworthy general join your force and bring determination and loyalty to your army"
He looked up slightly and awaited a response from the great commander.

The doors to the large and lavish courtroom burst open and through them came a man, this man approached the ruler of this rag tag and did not bow or show any sign of respect save for a nod. For this was his way, and he would not change for anyone save for a select few
"Now listen very carefully, i shall say this only once. I have business in your lands, what i will not say but i have business. You allow me to go about it and i will in return offer you my service, refuse and i shall leave and you will not see me again. This is my offer"
The man was to the point, just the way he liked it. Yet he forgot one important detail, his name
"Oh and my name is Solomon"
This was the name given to him by the imperial han court when he was under investigation along with his Order

*The respect and obedience shown by Gongsun Zan where the things Yuan Shu very much liked in his officers. They were to listen to him and carry out their orders without question and act in respect. As Yuan Shu opens his mouth to speak to the man, the doors of his throne room burst open and in comes another man. On the contrary to Gongsun Zan, the man walks straight up and stops at the allowed distance from Yuan Shu. By now Yuan Shu has turned his attention to this new man and awaits what his words would be. Words, not very good selected, by the likings of Yuan Shu.*
"Solomon, you say? An odd name to find in China. But it are odd times aswell. And your offer is a bit odd too, but by the look of thing, you are just a bit odd. I say you are welcome to do whatever work you want to do around here, but you will obey me and not question me at all. I hope you understand."
*Yuan Shu then turns his attention back to Gongsun Zan, the poor man who is now disrespected by Yuan Shu. For the, Yuan Shu waves with his hand to a servant and the servant walks up and hands Gongsun Zan 50 Gold.*
"Please forgive me, lord Gongsun Zan. I know I shouldn't have let you wait, especially not for a person like mister Solomon, here. But please, remain here and serve me. I promise you both, together we WILL conquer China and save the people from these useless wars."

Within the duration of time for which a songbird begins it's melody a man brushed passed the guards and opened the large doors of Yuan Shu's courtroom. The man standing at the front of the courthouse was easily reckognizable as Ma Chao, son of Ma Teng. The young warlord took an allotment of time to tighten his greaves, obviously taking his time. He was now where he needed to be, it was apparent when he lowered his guard and started to relax.
With a brush of the temple, relieving the beads of sweat that hung tightly to his brow, he regained his posture and started making his way further into the building. He noticed the nicely decorated halls, taking notes of this.... he knew that a leader who kept his possessions clear and in order, also did so with his mind. He had heard stories about Yuan Shu and his brilliance, he was now atempting to concrete these stories into truth.
Ma Chao was a grand leader, and all the same, a very loyal officer. It was not in him to lead great masses of generals into combat anymore, he no longer wanted the deaths of officers to fall on his shoulders. This young warrior felt much more adequate with being a mere officer in a kingdom. He rounded a hall, letting his instincts guide him to Shu's headquarters.

I appear in xiang yang like the wind swift and silently and enter Yuan Shu's court and look into the eyes of Yuan Shu himself and speak these words:
" I am not here to convince you of allowing me to join your'e kingdom, but if you do allow me to join you, you will not regret it"
I look and see what is his reply.

*But, what Jin didn't know was that it was not Yuan Shu governing the city of Xiang Yang, but his younger nephew, Yuan Yin. The man was sitting on the throne, which he was allowed to do by his uncle. He smiles politly to Jin.*
"I am sorry to disappoint you, great warrior, but I am not Yuan Shu, but his nephew, Yuan Yin. I have been appointed to govern this city during my uncle's absence. But I will gladly accept you into our ranks. Now, please hurry to Jiao Zhi and help out my uncle fight the rebels. But before you leave the city, please work at the facilities just once. Then you may depart to Jiao Zhi."
