*Fresh off victory, the men had almost no time to rest. Nor did they wish for any. From victory taking Chang'an, and conquering the han with Tian Shui and the rest of Xiang Liang, they marched to the Central Plains. Meeting Yuan Shu and Cheng at Wancheng, he combined forces with his brother Zhutai and the Temple Knights while Si's ingenuity trapped Shu with nowhere to run, where General Aorong and himself beheaded Yuan Shu, conquered his kingdom, and began plans for what they called the "Supreme Diplomacy", where in only days, they'd conquer what would take decades to invade. The lords would rise up to the occasion.*
*But Zhiyun would not be there to see his own plan put into action. As soon as Shu's head hit the floor, he planned to move. Given orders to take ba Shu, the last independant nation, he marched alone, with his elite soldiers. Upon another victory, they'd been involved in destroying two entire kingdoms. They were some of the greatest soldiers in China, under the Grand Commander of the Royal Army of Zhao.*
*It was magnificent. The story of legends. Du Zhutai, Sun Zhiyun, Lu Fengxian. Three simple men with nothing more then their blades, forged the empire that feigned soon a total conquest. China, under many rulers, bowed to Emperor Du Jung. Japan bowed to those who bowed to Zhao. The pieces were falling into place finally, years of chaos subside to the Empire. As Zhutai engades Supreme Diplomacy, Zhiyun again went to war. War was naught but a game. The game was getting old, and Sun was wondering how much longer he'd have to kill to survive. Kill for a cause, a collateral slaughter.*
*Not much longer*
*His army set up camp outside Hanzhong, the mountainous city that was such a stepping stone into Ba Shu, to not take it first would be nothing less then arrogant. Yuan Ci rode out himself, atop his mighty Kal, with his 400 Royal Army Soldiers by his side, into view of the city. The soldiers wielded eastern swords, clothed in battle robes, each with a tall helmet to match the Tower Guard's.*
"I trust you know of this man before you. I also trust you know of my reasons to arrive...
"Hanzhong will be annexed into the mighty Zhao Empire. I give you two hours to reason within, and should noone arrive in my camp to inform me of Hanzhong's surrender, I shall be upon you with more might then the Titans."
*Sun turned and rode away, his 400 men accompaning him. 400 men was all the men at hanzhong saw. But the army in all was many thousand, mixed between berserkers, storm troops, and imperial guards. To go along with that, the grandest strategy of the time would be launched if they failed to give in. One that only two had known about. Zhutai and Zhiyun were the only ones, aside from those who worked on it, who knew of the tactic. One that was cold hearted, with the only reasoning behind it to cause death.*
