((I *think* I could get out of this, you positioned your guards in a way that allows me to do so, but suppose we'll move this plot, eh?))
Du Jung breaks his expression, laughing as if he was in another world, another throne room and that he had not angered a very incompetent, fiery old man. As his cries faded and the room became awkwardly quiet, another entered the fray, captivating the minds and eyes of those he entered to. Du Jung simply glanced his way, not noting the man of importance, but noting him of honor, for attempting at saving his life, though he felt he needed no saving. As Zhutai's eyes wandered he stole a picture of the outer realm, the land from which he'd came. The seemingly iron veil churned across the barren sky, preparing for its departure. Jung turned back to his assailants and their master, briefly pausing one more time and then spoke, waiting for the visitor and the prime minister to finish.
"....If death beckons, then I will come to it. If life arises from the ashes of the deceased, then I too will rise. Death is not ready for you, nor your men.. No, it lurks within the catacombs of this palace, waiting to be unleashed, for its onslaught will grasp the reigns of this beaten horse and ride it strait to hell. If I must travel this very path, then so be it! If I must die today, then see it so! But know this, I, Du Jung shall surrender to no one!"
The warrior draws his sword in a sweeping motion, prepared to defend himself, if needed..

(About 2 guards were initially standing behind you in front of the gate. They assumed a defensive position and a few more joined them. Then a bunch of men surrounded you and the bodyguards of ministers on the side of the hall brandished their weapons. Hidden bowmen have their weapons ready to fire. I sooooooo want to add +2 to my kill count record. But I'll give you another chance)
"APOLOGIZE NOW OR PERISH!!!!" screamed Dong Jue, ready to give the order to release a sh*tload of carnage within the Han Eastern Palace. At the same time an Imperial messenger went through the tunnel that connected the two palaces of Luoyang. He would get army support, if necessary, to repel these traitors...

((There you go, take the pussy way out of it.. Wait till Shady pops in and then startles your people, slashing and then I move back behind a man, or in a way that I'm avoiding an archer's arrow. Since you weren't specific enough with their positions, I'll place them. If it comes to that. I ant backing down though.))

The archers are hidden on balconies of the roof of the palace, as well as in the same hidden compartments that the axemen came from. Some are also crouched behind walls, curtains, all kinds of shit on the side. I MOST LIKELY will not use them against you. I'll use what I have immediately at-hand; about 15 axemen surrounding you, 7 swordsmen guarding the gate and multiple (I'll say 20) spearmen lining the sides of the palace. You won't escape alive Lyle. >

(Wow, I'm skeptical about joining this site and Slick, you pull this shit. He asked for land, and insulted the emperor's kingdom. Why not simply say no, instead of attempting to kill him? Seriously, this is very gay. I thought you wanted me Lyle and Shady to do well, as you said, to start some early battles and get the site going. All I know is, I'll be very active if we get out band started. I'll likely leave the site if I'm killed because of this this early.
And Liu Bei, your entire post is void. You're in He Nei, or whatever, you have no idea of telling this is happening in Luo Yang.)

Hah! Played out like a true fool, way to use occ knowledge in the game Liu Bei. I'm going to burn He Nai down with you in it. That's my goal for this game, and that's all.

Your still in He Nai, and unless that messenger can travel to He Nai in say... one minute, then that post is still void.

If either one of you just says, 'I'm sorry,' or anything along that line, then you can leave easily. You can't just charge into the Emperor's court and rant at the ministers or the son of heaven. :/ If you guys really want I can lower the difficulty level. He's in He Nei until a messenger comes, warns him, and then he leaves to go to Luoyang...

Yeah, you can't insult the Empire, but the emperor can give land to Sars, Romans, and Pirates.

(The Sars, Romans, and Pirates didn't threaten to destroy the empire and kill the emperor, )

Yeah, you can't insult the Empire, but the emperor can give land to Sars, Romans, and Pirates. Yep. Read the obtaining land rules. It basically says that. When in the Emperor's presence you must be respectfulRead the edited part of my last post. I won't attempt to kill you unless you guys want a challenge (figured Lyle did). I'll also still give you land if you want it (need 5 officers though, see big update #1). Up to you.

We are however not in the Emperor's presence. I had expected to leave, but challenges are always good I suppose. Bring down the difficulty level? Screw you too.

(Dong Jue is like the Emperor at the moment. I planned on having a line of Han figureheads; first Huan, then DJ, then Ling, the eunuchs, Shao and Xian.)
Tell you what, only the 4 axemen will be attacking you and the 2 swordsmen at the gate. It won't be hard to escape, if you still don't want to call this off...
