(Dude, shady, the Emperor is NOT dead. ROFL! He got stabbed in the leg and was safely carried back to his quarters. Though for the time being he is 'unfit' to rule. A lot of your post is null and void, excluding the parts where you killed your own assassin and such...)
(And Steve, since the Emperor is 'out of order' so to speak, I'll just assume that when you mention the Emperor you're talking about his regent ruling in place of him, whom I will introduce today...)
The man that Fiago sat across from was no Emperor, but he made a good show of his royalty. He was, in fact, hardly even a nobleman, but he was a bureaucrat through and through, a simple regent that Emperor Huan had appointed to rule while he recovered. The regent's name was Dong Jue and he had assumed the title of Prime Minister, though perhaps with no authority. He sipped from his wine and then responded to the words of the master of the Julii...
"Lord of the Julii who has merit within the Han, for your prior services I would grant you territory, though I am no Emperor. The Emperor at the time has been wounded, and so I was given permission to rule in his absence. The ministers of our nation would not allow me to give you land if they were here, however, if you have 2 or more servants with you that you may name, then you can govern in far-off Yong'an to the West..." says Dong Jue.

For Rome *part 2*
Fiago Julli raised a curios eyebrow, “So the Emperor is injured ey?”
“Does that really matter Father, you have many beneath you as asked of the regent, such as Reiji Julli, your brother, and Cursius Julli, the youngest of you three, plus the reinforcements your ancestors are sending you for your expeditions, this is enough to begin what your father always wanted."
“Indeed, so there you go regent, named two subordinates we have, Yong'An is to be mine then?”
Valano Julli shifted his feet anxiously. His curiosity was indeed being fed now. Was Rome to begin it's new expeditions, or was they to return home empty handed, only the regent marshall had the power to decide their fate, as well as the fate of Rome.

Liu Bei slowly and quietly walked into the Hall of the Imperial Court where it is said that over hundreds of years great minds have walked and performed exceptionally at their duties. But now with growning rumors of rebellions throughout the weakening empire, it was time that someone of strong and able leadership was given charge of the Han army. Of course Liu Bei would never think of himself as strong in terms of fighting himself, but he did know how to govern with the opion of the people in mind. Slowly as Liu Bei continued to walk the Halls, he finally stood before what seemed like the Prime Minister of the Court. Liu Bei, with resepect for the one of high rank, bowed. Slowly he straightened back up before he nodded slightly. "Master Prime Minister, I have come to request the charge of head of the Han Army. In this era of conflict and drastic ecomonic and social change, I believe that one of great strength - both phsycial and mental should be given power. But I sir have only wisdow that could maybe help resecure peace and prosperity of the Middle Kingom. Please entrust me to bring another Golden era for our Empire." Liu Bei said as he once again bowed with respect to the Prime Minister before he took a step back to wait for a reply. [Man I think this might be the crappiest piece of shit of all time, oh well. ]

A man walked near the imperial gates, sinking into the scene just as the morning fog had, dispersing across the very holy lands around him, blanketing all in one sweep. Such a powerful creature mother nature was, capable of the most horrible destruction, yet also the greatest prosperity. Able to hide all and destroy all, no matter how much power one had achieved, they still had to bow down to the earth. Even the Han, even the Emperor... Though Du Jung as he made his way to the very walls he'd heard about ages ago. Beyond it stood small glimpses of the large foundation the Emperor had taken too, hidden by the ere storm of grey confusion. The cold straps within Jung's hands kept him going, the horse they linked to just behind him, pushing him on when his legs failed him. Little thoughts of his past awakened within the deep corridors of his mind, rekindling two warriors of legend, two who could stand equally if not taller than himself. Two brothers in arms that you could wish to have with you when you face grand odds. The three moved foundations, lands and people with their grand tools of destruction. Jung's was upon his horse, coated in a rather old cloak, held together by a single ribbon in its middle. His other weapon was upon his side, a large broad sword that had also snatched the life right from men of both justice and evil. Such was the ways of Du Jung, a man very different that the other two, yet also alike in many ways.,
He rested upon the wall, his armor coming with a clang as it met the famed stones of the Han Empire. He would stand here, leaning upon this wall until the other two finally arrived..

Lu Bu did not give a damn about the Han anymore, seeing how they rejected him so.So what if the emperor died,he refused Lu Bu's skills as a bodyguard because of his advisors and look what it has gotten him into now.He grabbed the black flag out of the side of the house where it landed, dusted it off,and burnt it,as he saw that it was the end of his loyalty to the Han.He walked for a few blocks holding tight the sash around Red Hares neck,to keep his prized steed nearby. He sat down with some of the village folk and ate with them.He liked this simple life, but for him it could never come to fruition. He knew that with his strength, lords would never stop from pursing his skills as a fighter, and thats all he was,a fighter.
He saddled Red Hare and rode for awhile through the streets of Luo Yang, just before he saw a man terrizing the market places.Lu Bu dismounted and moved toward the man.He heard that he was wrongfully accused of stealing a jaded cup.Lu Bu walked over, with Trident Halberd in hand, and tied Red Hare up to a post.He walked over and put his hand on the wanderer, and had him searched by one of Lu Bu's captains. There was no jade cup, when actually the owner of the store hid it and just wanted to blackmail the young youth. This made Lu Bu angry at the fact that this older man would do such a thing.Lu Bu swung down and cut off the owners beard and right hand."This is where your tyranny stops, and if you continue this blackmailing, your head will be rolling on the ground next."Lu Bu then took the hand and fed it to the dogs.He mounted Red Hare and saw the youth was standing next to his own horse. The young lad proclaimed his loyalty to Lu Bu for aiding him against the tyrantical owner and how he wishes to serve under Lu Bu.Lu Bu accepted the honor and handed the young one twin scimitars. The lads name was Zhao Ping and he rode atop Black Angel.
The two warriors rode up and down the streets, finally making it back to the palace entrance, where Lu Bu noticed a familiar face.He dismounted Red Hare and told Zhao to take the steeds to the stable nearby.Lu Bu walked towards his old comrade and bowed on one knee.He then said something to this gentleman that Lu would say to no other man,his "older brother."

Du Jung had eyed the famed horse as it entered through the thick, standing out admist the grey, even though its rider seemed invisible. The creature stopped, as though unsure of itself, waiting, wondering what to make of the moment. It then acted as if a burden was brought off from its back, Jung decided the rider had hopped off. Silent words came through the mist, only capable of being deciphered by those within its realm. Jung had been in this realm for a long time, it appeared. The voice was no foreigner, he'd learned to greet it long ago in a land not to distant. A voice but only a ways younger than his own, but just as powerful and just as bold. Du's eyes went blank and then closed, his arms folded and his body still upon the wall, the man walking up to him and then bowing, words escaping from the silence he held so powerfully. As though if awakening from a deep slumber, the warrior moved forward, his eyes and body quickly springing into action firmly. Minutes passed, yet they only counted seconds. Sweat was broken and yet each froze. And then, an explosion occurred as both began to laugh. Jung spoke first with laughter still within his words, kneeling toward his 'younger brother.'
"So you did bear the shame of showing your face?! It is great to see that you remember the promise we'd made long ago. It is grand to know that we are here as friends, and not as enemies like the first time we met! How have you been, Fengxian? (after the answer) Then we will be off to take a foot hold in the new order.."
Du Jung begins to walk toward the palace.

"Well besides the fact I was rejected by the emperor himself to be his bodyguard and watched him get stabbed in the leg, everything else has been boring to say the least."
Lu Bu then arose and motioned his attention to his younger pupil,Zhao Ping,Dragon of Han Zhong.Lu Bu grinned at his student and turned back towards his elder brother. He told his pupil to come forward and introduce himself to his new leader.
"Hello,I am Zhao Ping.I grew up in Han Zhong, well the outskirts really in a small village called Po Kai.I lived there until my mother died, thus my loyalty to the village has seized to exist.Recently I heard the Qiang burnt it to the ground, but that was when I moved here,to Luo Yang.I was recently blackmailed into working for a shop owner until Lord Lu Bu here cut off the man's beard and right hand and took me in as if as his son.I am loyal to Lord Lu Bu,and if Lord Lu Bu is loyal to you then I am your loyal advisor as well."
Zhao Ping said this with a nod and a bow.Lu Bu began to cheerfully laugh and looked back at his new lord, his oath brother.
"Yes,he deserves a better life than the one he had.So brother, shall we go now"?

~It Begins~
*Short hours seemed so very long. When one was lost in a blaze of crimson fire and dark ash. In the northeast, Sun Yuan Ci was celebrating his twenty-sixth year in the chaotic world. He, as well as those whom he looked onto as father figures, were drinking the night sky away. These men had served Yuan Ci for each of these years, as he had served them. His father was hunted down and killed for abandoning his country in their time of need, and for that Sun Yuan Ci thought of him only as the man who gave him birth. Was he his father? No. His father was each of the mongolian riders that had taken him in.*
*His mother had died during birth. Some could say this child was cursed, born a bastard while his mother died as he was given life. But greatness followed him. He was discovered, not a moment too soon. It was luck, or perhaps it was chances of fate from the gods, that he was found. For not once had his father spotted any scouts, and by unwilling chance they passed this cottage this one day, while the boy was dying. They helped deliver him, and buried the woman when she lost the pulse from her heart. They rode west, far past the mountains and past the green grass and grey stone. Into the marshes of the Steppes. Where the horses were warriors by rights, and the wet ground sunk with each step. This was his home.*
*Sun Yuan Ci now turned 26. His horse, Kal, was broad and strong. He had hunted two tigers in the east to find the pelts required for his saddle, and decorations on the little armor the horse wore. It was grey, like a light black, but as the sun hit it's coat, it shimmered magnificently. It was a warrior, not a horse, and it was Yuan Ci's brother much more then his steed. It's eyes had the look of a demon, and it's charge matched. It sat in the stable while the seven drunk men celebrated. In these 26 years, the six riders had taught him everything they knew, and he was becoming a master of his arts. The focused on swift riding, and flashy work of the polearm. They had said their numbers were larger, but they constantly rode into camps of the barbarian cheif, who banished them long ago, and hunted them without end.*
*Those extra men they had could have been brought to good use. They were all drunk, unarmed and unarmored, and were playing games with a bow outside. Suddenly, a barrage of bolts flew by, as the man who delivered him to the world died before Sun's eyes. He ducked, and lunged forward, into cover of the brush. He sat and looked while a group of men shot their crossbows into his companion's skull, making sure they weren't getting up. As adrenaline cooled down, Sun felt a pinch in his side, an explosion of pain awakening. He reached down, and felt the plume of a bolt. He closed his eyes, carefully pulling it out, then falling asleep.*
*Now here he was He woke up, however many days later, with his horse by his side. Apparently it fled, and returned to it's master to wait for him to awaken or die. He found his spear, took his armor, took whatever food was left after the raid, and left the cottage, which was burnt to the ground. He exited to see his companions, left to rot. After he woke up, he could not remember their names, but he remembered them. He remembered each of their faces, and what they did with him in the past. But he could not remember their names. He buried them one by one, which took almost a full afternoon with his wound, and he mounted his horse. The riders often spoke of his home country of China, and how it was torn by war. They gave him a map, and told them it was where he was found with his mother. They told him one day his path would send him home, to where he was born. And that time was now.*
*He had knowledge of much land, as they never stayed in one area long. They stretched east and north, so Sun knew many landmarks which were illustrated in the map. It was a few days later that Sun found a small home surrounded by trees in the gentle sunlight, and he believed that was where he was born. It was turned into a farm. His eyesight dimmed, and he felt lightheaded. Out came a woman, as Yuan Ce fell from his horse. He again awoke, this time in a comfortable bed in the warmth of a home. A man was nearby, grunting to himself as he wrote on a scroll. Sun sat up, looking around, and the man turned to him.*
"You feeling alright, stranger? Took a nasty fall off that horse of yours, and that wound at your side took some major damage."
*Yuan Ci wiped his eyes, slowly opening them to look at this man.*
"Where am I?"
"You are in the mountains near China. I am Gu Niu, simple farmer. I am working on a story of a man who lost everything in his life, then came back to rule over the land. Real rags to riches story. But anyway, how are you feeling."
"A little dazed. I haven't caused too much trouble for you, have I?"
"Why, of course not! We're kind heated fellows, my wife and I. She left to get medicine for that wound of yours. If you don't mind my asking, what happenend?"
"I got dragged into affairs I had no dealings with. I was amptly charged with my life, but it appears you have saved me. I thank you, and when your wife returns, I shall be sure to thank her. My name is Sun Zhi-yun, Yuan Ci."
"Why! That's amazing! I know you! You.. you're the one in the note that was left in the house when we found it! It's from your mother I believe."
*And so it was. Zhi-yun read it, and it was from her mother. She had wrote it not long after she gave birth, when she knew she was dying. It was then he learned of his father, his death, and of the events prior to his birth. An age of wonder was set aside, as he now knew where he reigned. He remained there, under the roof of farmer Gu Niu and his wife, who returned with medicine from the southern camps. It wasn't long until he was in full health. He owed these people his life, and he woul repay them. For now, though, he took Kal, and rode off to Luo Yang, which was the city of the emperor.*
*On the fourh day of his journey, he arrived with wonder at the gates of Luo Yang. when he entered the city, he didn't know what to expect. He was not sure if he wanted to serve them, or if he was just looking for a place to stay while he read up on the state of the land. He stabled his horse beside the palace, and approached the door, in his elaborate mix of armor and cloth.*
(Sorry for such a long post, had to get the story aspect of his past by.)

(This is going to be short and to the point...)
Dong Jue looked before the man who had come to the palace. He had long ears, less facial hair than most and seemed to be fit. He was young, but seemed ambitious. He was the sort of character that the Han needed, and more importantly Dong Jue had recognized who he was; the man before him was Liu Bei, a relative of the current Emperor Liu Huan, and a man cheated out of nobility...
"Ah Liu Bei, it would be an honor for a descendent of Liu Sheng such as yourself to handle the military of the Han. You may obtain the title of 'General of the Flying Chariots' and protect Han's western border from He Nei. Unfortunately neither I nor the Emperor can aid you, for we must attend to civil affairs and diplomacy in Luoyang. You however receive full control of He Nei's government and facilities. Recruit men of talent Liu Bei and expand Han influence. Do not worry about Luoyang, as it is protected by an army of 10,000 extremely competent soldiers..." says Dong Jue.

Shang Xi rode to the palace. He had finally arrived. He had two good men as his lieutenants and he was finally ready to establish his own land. He handed his sword to one of his captains and prepared to enter. He approached the guards. He smiled.
"May I be allowed to meet with the Emperor, or perhaps someone with great authority?"

The guards nod. Shang Xilang would be allowed in the palace, for he had already given away his weapon to one of his troops.

Xilang entered the palace and made straight for the reception hall. Seeing the distinguished Prime Minister, he bowed deeply.
"You are the Prime Minister, Dong Jue, yes? Your honorable name is well known, even to the children of humble merchants such as myself. Is the Emperor able to meet with lowly vassals at this time?"
