I think the tier system is popular, but the fame system is gay. The new tier system will enable kingdoms to actually feasibly get tier 2, and even tier 3, as well as tier 4 items and stuff, so long as the kingoms are active and raise their factory capital.

What I would like to be able to do though is design our own weapons, if we can describle the components and designs. I mean, we have these factories building these materials, why not, at a certain tier, allow for, maybe one type of personally designed weapons or armor.. In my case, or maybe my kingdoms case, it could be something like a long spear, phalanx length, as opposed to the short spears that are as tall as any person in teir 1..
Dunno, just something to think about, though that could complicate or comprimise the tier item system somewhat. Perhaps if it were just that you take a user suggestion and put that into the list of things able to purchase? I mean, though this may be set in China, you have characters from Japan all the way to Rome.. These people would habe knowledge of other forms of weaponry, and if they know how to make them, perhaps you could allow it.
Just something I had thought about before and decided to post now.. Dunno if I quite explained everything well enough though.

I did think about it actually; what I thought about was having the old system that Jorge used where people created their own units. Then I realized how hard that was to battle moderate. You would have to look at every unit, and since most of them were good it would be hard to compare one versus another. Then I thought maybe each kingdom could have their own special selection of items. But that might also complicate things, and then if I was playing I would hate not being able to buy other kingdom's special crap.
Not sure what to think about the idea...

Well, how about this:
Each kingdom has a spear, thats special to them (The Sassanid's have their Phalanx Spear, I'd have my Naginta's, and the other people could have their own thing) But they are all roughly the same height and weight, so that they give persona to your troops, but keep the same thing.

.... Ruler get gold for the level of their market, militia for the number at the barracks, and 100 tier one weapons until the factory is over 500...
They also get the standard 400+Charm.

Hey I was just wondering, for duels for certain amount of points you have in strength you should get a die to roll to show your superb strength so it would be like this,
0-99= 1 die 100-149= 2 dice 150= 3 dice
This could show that the more strength you have the more likely you are to deal damage. Just a thought. I've always wondered how someone with like 20 or so War(Strength) on most sites seem to lift heavy weapons and fight toe to toe with massive warriors at 100 War(Strength). Anyone with me on this or am I "That guy".

I agree, to some extent, though I think additional dice should be given for having superior tactics as well, to show that not strength allone wins duels.

Maybe the same bonuses for wisdom too then since that would definatly contribute to fighting. So in total you could have up to six dice but of course only the highest one counts.
Wisdom 0-99= 1 die 100-149= 2 dice 150= 3 dice
Strength 0-99= 1 die 100-149= 2 dice 150= 3 dice
So for example I would have 3 dice to roll due to my strength and wisdom scores.

.. no I meant more along the lines of actual tactics in the post. You'd get moe for using a clever attack, rather than just swinging wildly, if you see what I'm saying....
