Qimang sat silently for several seconds, deep in thought. Zhao was failing, and he was in no position to oppose the Xiongnu. Therefore, he had on choice. However, he would not simply lay down before the barbarians.
"Very well....you shall have my support. However, I have two conditions. Firstly, you must give me one month to procure men and supplies for the campaign. Secondly, I request that I be allowed to take the city of Ji. The city is rather important to me. You see, my brother studied there, as did my esteemed predecessor, Lu Kai Li," he replied, while adding to himself, And I will die before I see such a symbol of Han Chinese culture be desecrated by you scum.

(Oh and Gryff, you can have 300 Marines equipped with three things from the Tier 2 market. Those are your extra troops)
The messenger nods slightly, but also disagrees, speaking one last time and then leaving.
"Ji may be arranged, but not all of it, and not just at the moment. If you will allow it, the King will order a draft and troops will be given to you, to pardon for Ji. I will return with my King's decision and orders upon Ji and when to begin an attack when your army has grown in size. Good day Duke of Yan, all Hail retribution for Zhao.."
The messenger leaves.
The Xiongnu pull out of Ye, their King is somewhat angry, yet is in check for the moment.

Mu and Mo made their way to the palace of Gonsun Ren after resting for a day after their trip from Luo Yang to Ye. Their personnel remained outside of the city in a forest to avoid being seen and causing alarm to the citizens and officers of Ye. Ye was a city to be admired, the only thing that was much different from Luo Yang was the climate. With the rest of Ye being admirable, it was no surprise that the palace of Gongsun Ren was an imposingly beautiful piece of architecture.
Father and son approached the guards of the large palace and bowed slightly to them. Mu cleared his throat to address the guards while Mo observed his surroundings with wonder filled eyes. "Good day to you. I am Jia Mu, and this is Jia Mu. We have traveled from Luo Yang to enter into the service of the great Duke of Yan, Lord Gongsun Ren. I will gladly surrender my weapon and submit to any search that is required in order to acquire an audience with him." Mu's tone was very respectful, yet stern and unyielding, he was a man with an objective, and would follow through with it until it's completion.

The guards nodded and allowed the Jia family to enter after removing their weapons. Gongsun Ren, still annoyed by the haughtiness of the Xiongnu messenger, was sitting on his throne when they were announced.
"Jia? Interesting, I heard that the late prefect of Pu Yang had a son named Mu. Are you he?" inquired Qimang.

Mu and Mo enter the audience hall and offer low bows to the great man enthroned before them. He seemed annoyed by something, but Mu paid no mind to it. What Mu did pay mind to was the question that was uttered by the man. Mu was more than a little surprised that the man would even know about him. "Ah, so you know of my father? Moreover, you know of me? I am more than a little surprised Lord Gongsun Ren."
Mu then looked over to his son who had a puzzled look on his face, Mu then realized that he had not introduced Mo properly to Gongsun Ren. "Ah, please do forgive me, I was so stunned by your question that forgot to introduce my son properly to you." Mu then looked to his son and said, "This my son Jia Mo." The young man bowed low to Ren once again. "G...good day to you sir. I am Jia Mo, it is an honor to meet you." Mu then turned back to Ren addressing him so, "Now Lord Gongsun Ren, my business here with you today is to join you and to help you in all of your endeavors. What say you to this?"

"Your father's reputation precedes you. As a general of the Temple Knights, of course I knew of him. It is a pity he was taken so so suddenly from us. I would gladly value the aid of you and your son. Welcome to Yan, my good men," answered Qimang.

An Intro
Zhu Liao walked into the audience hall, the guards parting to allow him through. Zhu Liao did not go through though, he just looked at the guards.
"I heard you let an armed man in the hall..." He stpped up to one man a gripped the cloth part of his uniform enar the neck. "HOW COULD YOU FOOLS BE SO STUPID?!? HE WOULD HAVE HAD TO WALK RIGHT BETWEEN YOU!" He slammed the man into the wall and entered the room. Zhu Liao was not a man that you would say had a short fuse. He didnt have a fuse. As he entered the hall he saw two men speaking with Ren. He walked right up and took his place at the right side of the throne.
He leaned in just slightly and spoke to his liege. "My lord, I must ask about your plans with the barbarians from the north. After these two have been dealt with." Liao nodded his head off in the direction of the two newcomers.

"Ah, the sister of the fellow from the arena? I hear he has recently liberated barbarian territory. Please send your brother my congratulations. Now, why are you here?" Qimang asked.

*Sun Li comes in, bowing low to the Duke. She is young and beautiful with dark brown hair.*
Sun Li: I shall. My brother Sun Qi has sent me to request an alliance with your army. Our two kingdoms are only a city a part from eachother, and we wish to be allied with you. We feel it would benefit both kingdoms, and not just one.

"I agree," smiled Qimang, "Very well, then. I accept." In his mind, the Sun line, even if their previous generation had been one of rebels, were at the very least of pure Han descent.

*Sun Li smiles at his approval.*
Sun Li: If that is all, I shall return and inform my brother of the good news. It was a great honor meeting you Duke of Yan, good day.
*With that Sun Li bowed low, turned and left the palace if not stopped. Outside she mounted her horse and headed back to Yang Ding with her escort.*

The monk listens to the comings and goings of the officers of Yan, and the envoy's of others. He nods silently as the lord Ren accepts them all. He then moves to the fore, bows, and then rectifies himself.
Lord Ren, I take my leave of you. I leave behind 50 Shaolin Monks with Chu Ko Nu for your personal defense. I know you will accept them.
Ge Hong leaves, without ever telling this man his name. However, he was trusted enough to be allowed to have his Naginta in the man's presence, which spokes tomes.
