*Once again, the day begins out a peaceful day for Shang Dang. People were going about their daily business, when suddenly the sound of war drums was heard, accompanied by the sound of marrching troops and hooves from horses. Over the horizon, the Fang army is seen approach, purple banners of Fang and the Sun family flying high. Sun Qi leads the march atop his white stallion, his purple cape flowing in the wind.*
*The Fang troops were in their normal starting formation as they approached. They halted out of arrow range, as per usual. Qi hoped the city would be smart and give up without a fight, but he knew not to expect any miracles. His past battles not many of his men showed up, though this time he expected his generals Cao Yu, and Phantom. Qi orders a messenger forward to the city.*
Mesenger: Wonderful people of Shang Dang, my lord Sun Qi has come to take control of this fair city so to help bring peace under one banner, one banner that isn't the tyrannical Zhao empire. From here, he can stage his army to finally over throw the Zhao goverment, and he wishs for you people to aid him, and he will protect you with his very life. If you refuse, we will have to take the city by force. The city of Ji resisted, and their army was 800 soldiers strong, 200 of which were trained soldiers. Lord Sun Qi crushed their force with little casualties, and he does not wish to have to crush another army that isn't a Zhao army again. Please, surrender now and allow my lord to rule you.
*The mesenger awaits a reply.*

Got it.
The envoy stood looking at the gate, and met a prickley doom. Hundreds of arrows streamed into his body as he was literally impaled into the ground, a death that was as pointy as it was painful. He was somewhat standing, held upright by the arrows implanted into his legs. However, they soon bent, and he fell into smaller pieces, as so many arrows had cut him up.
The force of Shang Dang stood ready to defend their castle, through any siege.

*Sun Qi sighed at the sight of his messenger being killed. He decided to have his men settle in, keeping 200 Fang Heavy Cavarly on guard, to ensure that no enemy forces surpise them. Also being protected by the forests, Qi orders 25 Fang Crossbowmen in the trees to watch out for enemies as well.*
*Qi orders that 50 Fang Spearmen, 100 Fang Swordsmen, and 100 dismounted Fang Heavy Cavarly go and begin cutting down trees. The horses are tied to trees not being cut down. They gather all the wood up, and the rest of the army begins building siege weapons, Qi instructing them.*
*They work on building two catapults, and 4 large 10 foot long logs, with extremely sharp pointed ends, strong enough to be shoved into a gate firmly, and be stuck there, no matter how hard any man or horse pulls.*

The archers atop the wall watch, breaking off, some going to sleep for night, but 200 stayed watching. They switch out at 4 hour intervals, citing that 3 hours of sleep more than enough for 4 hours of work. All of the melee units went to sleep, in shifts of 4 hours each, 50 men a shift.
They awaited their enemies...

*All of Sun Qi's soldiers continue working and keeping guard. They work until they're finished, and are relieved when Phantoms troops come in and begin aiding. Qi is happy to see his general and nods to him, as he continues ordering his men, even helping them move large logs with his white stallion.*

As the men worked with the woods and logs, Yin Du and his army marched towards the scene. With 1000 men strong, he had come to see what he could do to help. He saluted Sun Qi, his lord.
"Lord Sun Qi! I am here to assist in the siege! I have a plan that may indeed be of good use to you!"
Yin Du quickly drew a diagram in the sand, of his strategy...
(Check PM for details.)
Troops:
250 Crossbows
250 Miltia Swordsmen
250 Scimitar Marines.

(Yin Du, I need troop numbers)
After working the entire night, Sun Qi's catapult had been constructed. It was crude, and probably wouldn't see its way through the battle, but it would do in destroying the measely gate. It was finished as day-break, and was ready to fire.
The cities troops were fresh, however, and spotted the catapult. They prepared. Sun Qi's men, however, were exhausted, having worked throughout the night...

*Sun Qi looked at the crude catapult, but wasn't disappointed. His soldiers did their best, and without axes. He ordered all his men to sleep, for their attack would be a night one. He also ordered Yin Du to have his men rest, but to have at least 250 of his men on the forests, watching the enemy, so if the enemy attacked, they'd be warned. Phantom was to have 100 troops help do this as well. Their troops were to do this in shifts, so their troops would be ready for the night attack as well.*

Yin Du complied with the orders, also leaving a 50 man rotating night watch at camp just in case. He wasn't going to get caught off guard with anything. On the third rotation, he woudl accompany the watch; he could go quite a while without sleep, and only needed a few hours.

The next morning came, and the men at the city were all prepared. They had taken the Fang's tranquility to their benefit, and went practically the entire day without guarding the city, besides token archer forces.
The next day, they were ready, as they knewit would be their last stand...

*As the cities troops waited for the attack, it never came. Qi's troops relaxed back, until nightfall. When the night became pitch black, Sun Qi ordered Yin Du and his men to the south gate. Theywould commence the attack there, and Qi's signal was fire arrows. After about 10 minutes after they saw the first fire arrow, Qi would form his troops up back into formation, and have the crude catapult begin bombarding the north gate until it fell. Then Qi and Phantoms troops would charge in, while the enemy were distracted by Yin Du.*

Yin Du quickly rallied the men, getting up the ones that were sleeping, and ordered to match. Each person was alert and ready for battle. They marched around through the forest to the south gate, lining near the south gate. Soon, after some marching, they arrived at the south gate. The Crossbowmen readied their crossbows, and Yin Di stood on his steed with a torch. He turned to the men, rallying them with a Japanese battle cry.
"CHESTOH!!!!"
The men yelled their response with eagerness, and Yin Du rode his horse through the ranks of Crossbows with his torch, lighting them all on fire. They quickly fired these bolts at the gates, setting it aflame. The quickly reloaded, firing again at the walls, hitting a few sentries.
