((Sweet godmodding Yin Du))
As the army of Yin Du began to move, so did the city defenders. There was no forest to the south, only a forest to the north, and as such, the men had no cover. They were quickly shot at, before they could respond, the shortbows power shown as the height pushes gravity against the arrows, forcing them into the enemy, slicing into them, hurting them, many not even killed but maimed.
Yin Du's men sent up a pathetic volley against the southern gate. The arrows merely plunked against the tempered wood, which was reinforced with metal. They caught flame but a little before smothering themselves out, and Yin Du even took casualties as the occasional crossbow string snapped and hurt his own men.
However, this pulled men away from the main assault, which quickly began to batter down the gate, knocking shards of wood inward, but not destroying the door. It would take a while longer for the siege engine to take enough effect to destroy the gate, but the defender concentration here was low, enabling a somewhat easier time.
However, Yin Du's forces were being massacred by the more powerful ranged units. He was a fool to attempt to fight against an obviously superior force, whose numbers were equal, and whose power was greater.

....Wait a fucking minute. I can understand the terrain, the door and the bowmen picking away at my forces, but since when do YOU get to decide that my Crossbow strings snap and I get hit by friendly fire? That's retarded.
I also fail to see how that is God Modding. I have no other weapons to use.
If you have an explination about HOW this happened with a fair reason, I'd like to hear it, because for all I know, I missed something. Thank you.

Godmodded the killing of a few of my sentries. Godmodded burning the gates instantaneously.
You moved wayyy too far in a single move.. That'd take probably two moves, since you tried to move from one end of the compass to the other..
Otherwise... it was poorly planned. There was no cover, and you sent your men to move. That gives my men (Who have better weapons, and better ability with them) the chance to literally cut your men down.

Alright, understandable. Let's continue. I'll keep these things in mind, and try to use less actions. Although I have to say ONE thing. If your using Miltia and I'm using Militia, how are they more skilled then my Militia?
Yin Du frowned at the failure of the attack. Still, one learned from one's mistakes. He quickly ordered the crossbows to reload, telling them not to draw back too hard on the string, just enough to set it in place. He ordered them to focus their fire on the sentries, aiming to keep them down rather then hit them. He then ordered his Marines to charge the gate along with his sword militia; his plan was to climb the walls with the marines using siege ladders. He and his men swordsmen then charged right at the gate.

((What ropes >_> <_< >_< We have siege ladders. Ropes'd just be cut quickly...))
As the men began their attacks, the crossbowmen attempted to suppress the shorbowmen. This was the one folly from being atop a wall, is that your downward range is decreased to the point that you'd have to drop arrows on your enemy to attack them.
So, as Yin Du's men collapsed against the wall, they were practically scott free. However, this was made easier due to the suppression techniques.
Meanwhile, Sun Qi's catapult finally broke through the gate, destroying it. The gate crushed a few men inside, eliminating some of the enemy.

Yin Du's men quickly set up the siege ladders, wasting no time in climbing them. The crossbows kept up their barrage until the men neared the top. Yin Du sent Marines up first, personally climbing one of the ladders. The slashed at any who tried to kick away the ladders as the came upon the top of the walls.

[Sun Qi's Troops Have Joined Mine Since He Is No Longer In Power.]
Cao Yu's forces arrived, Cao Yu had received a distress call in Shang Dang. Shadow-Han's Main Forces arrived. Cao Yu could be heard from afar, the shouting and cheering of his men attempted to intimidate the enemy forces. The Cavalry charged in, as there hooves crashed down on the ground causing a somewhat tremor. Cao Yu could be seen in the distance with some of his forces.
Shadow Han 185 Pikemen (Marines) 200 Scimitar (Marines) 600 Eastern Swordsmen 100 Armoured Cavalry Pikemen 100 Armoured Cavalry Spearmen 400 Fang Heavy Cavarly [Marines] (Swords, Bronze Shields, Armoured Cavarly) 262 Fang Crossbowmen [Militia] (Crossbows) 100 Xiongnu Cavarly [Xiongnu Barbarian Mercs] (Swords, Bronze Shields, Scalemail, and Horses)
Cao Yu and his forces surrounded the city and began to fire hails of arrows, the cavalry waited patiently and the footsoliders helped out Yin Du's Forces and began climbing the ladder. The Cavalry awaited for the main gates of the city to open and waited in a wedged formation.
Cao Yu: This is all my fault, Yin Du....if we didnt have these problems. You wouldnt of been in the situation you were in....All Troops, climb the walls and open the gates from within, allow the cavalry to charge into the city and destroy the enemy!

If you're talking to Yin Du, he can't hear you. He's climbing the ladders alongside his men.

Yin Du merely laughed at Cao Yu.
"Nay, I am doing fine! Not to say your help isn't much appreciated! These reinforcements will make things go swifter!"

600 Militia Shortbowmen 275 Militia Swordsmen 200 Militia Spearmen 100 Marine Pike Cavalry with bronze Shields 2 Catapults
There are no Ladders guys... Did anyone bring any? No... FFS.
As the enemy began pouring through the gate, they easily overran the meager melee troops, many of whom were disenheartened by the crushing blow the gate gave. Soon, a melee appeared just inside the gates, where iron rang upon iron, and the twang of bows grew silent, for fear of striking their own men.
The archer defenders began to move from the walls, migrating in small clusteres towards the palace, where they took to the roof. The melee at the gate was being overun, and soon, some of Yin Du and Cao Yu's troops began bashing through, raising hell throughout the city. Many were struck down, however, as the shortbowmen picked them off from the rooftops.
Battle Loses: Yin Du: 12 Scimitar Marines 26 Sword Militia
Cao Yu: 18 Pikemen 4 Scimitarmen 22 Eastern Swordsmen 12 Xiognu Cavalry
Defenders Remaning: 600 Militia Shortbowmen 98 Militia Swordsmen 45 Militia Spearmen 98 Marine Pike Cavalry with bronze Shields 2 Catapults

((My mistake on the ladders....))
As Yin Du's men bashed their way through, he himself joined the fray slashing at any who tried to approach him. Although he seemed to be "unarmed" he easily pushed away blades using both hands on his metal gauntlets. He yelled orders to his men as he fought/
"Marines, I want you with me! Kill any enemy melee unit you see!! Sword Militia, make your way around to the palace! Storm it and kill any archers you see!!!"
Instilled with newfound energy and morale by seeing their own general fight for them, the men shouted out with a heartfelt battle cry, their resolve and will set. The Militia mounted the walls, slashing at every archer they saw, while the Marines charged, with Yin Du at the lead.

4 Battering Ram's Arrived as reinforcements, the rams were pushed by troops and positioned on all 4 gates. They began to attempt to smash the doors down. Cao Yu's forces protected all of the rams and the cavalry pulled back out of range, the cavalry then spread out in a circlular formation ready to charge through the first gate what was destroyed, the rams began to smash through the door and the troops protected it with there lives.
Cao Yu: Protect the rams!....as soon as the gates open, cavalry strike and leave nobody alive. Those who surrender, take them prisoner!

Yin Du yelled out to his sword Militia to halt.
"Militia! Change of orders! Protect the rams!! We must burst on through, or we will not be able to win!
His militia quickly complied, fighting off enemies who dared come near the siege rams.

As the men of Fang began to destroy all of the gates, the head of the state began to panic. He quickly made all of the archers charge out to the rams, to set them aflame. As the archers ran, they met resistance, firing their fire arrows into troops, which could only harm one at a time, and soon, multiple residences in the city were on fire.
However, many of the archer units were slain this way, and in no time, only a few remained, stationed still atop the palace. The melee units were destroyed, casualties high on the Defenders side, moderate on Fang's side. The gates were destroyed, and soon, Fang units began pouring in from all sides... The archers atop the palace shot, but it was ultimately futile.
Within time, the Fang units had battered down the palace doors, and began the 'cleansing' of the palace. Atop the roof of the palace, it was said 250 bodies lay, of Fang and Shang Dang alike.
It was a slaughter on the Shang Dang side.
Casualties of the Fang: Yin Du: 22 Scimitar Marines 31 Sword Militia
Cao Yu: 22 Xiognu Cavalry 2 Armored Cavalry Pikemen 3 Armored Cavalry Spearmen 21 Pikemen
