Name: Er Aorong
Age: 20
Weight: 230
Height: 6'7"
Weapon: Gift to Fenris (Longsword)
A longsword forged by Er Aorong's father when he was born as was the custom of his people. It is dedicated to the mythological figure Tyr who lost his right arm by putting it into the mouth of the beast Fenris. The blade has arcane runes and writing along it with a simple hilt. It is wielded in the left hand which was thought to be evil since one could brandish a weapon while shaking hands.
Armor: Ragnarok Plate
This blackened metal plate armor covers his body. The way his father forged it makes it light and thin yet very sturdy. Fur lines the inside for insulation as well as the ability to conceal movement by stopping metal on metal contact. It is black as to represent Ragnarok, the end of the cosmos where the sun, moon, and stars are swallowed and no light exists.
History:
Er Aorong, the son of a Nordic traveler and a barbarian tribe woman. His father and grandfather had traveled in a small group east from their European lands on a mission of discovering. They had gotten lost many times and ended up in the south west parts of China. They came to a river and had been ambushed and the only survivors were his father and grandfather. Most were afraid to attack them because they looked like demons in the black armor they wore, and fought just as crazed.
After years of living with the people they began to learn the language and it wasn't long before his father had taken to one of the women there. His grandfather had passed shortly after Er Aorong's birth and his father a few years later, but not before he could teach him his native language and about his ancestry.
Er Aorong was then raised by the village as one of there own but was often told not to mention too much of what his father had taught him to others as they would view him differently. He was forbidden to speak the language his father taught him in public and not to write in the runes he was shown either. It was during this time he gave himself a name like the one of his father. The name few would come to know would be Arni Irongoat. He also gave himself a few tattoos depicting the runes of power his father had shown him.
One night a rival tribe attacked his village and he took up arms to defend it. He slaughtered many of the attackers and was seen by his tribes' leader walking out of a fire and as he described it "A demon who sleeps in the jaws of death." Shortly after this he was given a set of armor which he was told his father had made for him as his grandfather did for his father. He had grown in this village but the chief felt it was his time to leave and set out on his own path, knowing that at any time he had men to fight by his side at a moments notice.
He has traveled China in his armor never showing his full face. His desire for battle is surpassed by nothing else as that is the only place he feels at home. He isn't well with his words and speaks his mind often inadvertently insulting someone which starts a fight that is usually ended with the other man begging for his life. His desire for food is second on his list.
