(for the record i was inside the wall)
*Jin Pin opened a scroll read it over and began his tactics, he sent 355 crossbow men to the wall away from the seige fire they were letting out bolt after bolt as quickly as they could fireing at any and all enemys in range as of now it is Bya Kou since they were watching the Arbalist fire they would not see his men fire at them. he then order the gates opened for a moment to release any and all peasents that wish to leave. about 200 or more peasents quickly got out of the battle feild and hide in nearby woods until the battle was over, after that Jin's troops not on the wall -20 Marines Composite Longbows / Chainmail -40 Marines with Crossbow / Chain Mail -200 Marines with Battle Axes -355 Crossbowmen went through the gate after which the gate was closed once again they set into formation with the 355 crossbowmen behind the 200 Marines with battle axes and the remaining behind the crossbowmen, those with range weapons fired on Kong Suo men while the 200 battle axemen waited to interspet the enemy advancements. Jin stayed behind the Wall with 8 Swordsmen / thatch shields protecting him*

((Being as there is a specific thread encompassing the gates, shouldn't he have posted there to remain inside the city? Section 8, where all of this is going on, is pretty obviously an open plain :-P Anyways, Xu Fu never properly posted what troops were with him, so I'm assuming he has everything, and he never even bothered to say what, if any, formation he was in, so I'm assuming he has none.))
*Seeing the previously illusionary force of Jin Pin actually exit the gates this time, Suo signalled for the archers to unleash hell upon them in wave after brutal wave. The light swordsmen, shields held at the ready, were repositioned so as to screen the pikemen from any ranged attacks, and since crossbows only fired straight forward, this was easily done and quite effective. Suo raised a yellow flag high above his head, and slowly but surely, his left flank began rumbling forward. Tanks of the ancient era, 200 elephants lumbered to the attack, shrugging off any of the weak arbalest bolts that happened to hit them. Their riders, in the meantime, began firing off arrow after arrow into Xu Fu's untidy unit, which was their new objective. Once the elephants began their full charge, which was a fearsome sight to behold, especially for the spooked horses of Xu Fu's cavalry forces and the cowering forces of Jin Pin, the riders put away their bows and took hold of their pikes. The charge was decimating. A wave of elephantine flesh barreled into the poorly formed lines of Xu Fu from the side, blades bristling as the pike riders did their bloody business. Possessing very little that could be termed "projectile weapons," Xu Fu's men were essentially at the mercy of the charging elephants. While this was going on, Suo raised a blue flag, and immediately Shi Fei began leading his force of cavalry forward, both Breaker Cavalry and mounted spearmen. The Breaker Cavalry in the front covered the distance exceptionally quickly, and due to the heavily armored nature of both horse and rider, received little in the way of casualties from any long range weaponry. Pikes at the ready, the breakers smashed into the front of Xu Fu's line at roughly the same time as the elephants hit his right flank, tearing through the men with their polearms. Once their charge began to stall out, they put away their pikes and pulled out their swords and shields. Great slaughter was wreaked by these cavalry forces on the unprepared forces of Xu Fu who, fearing for his life, was no where to be found. The mounted spearmen swept through the lines of Xu Fu's army as a mop-up force, taking out any stragglers whom the original charge had missed, and then split into two equally sized forces and retreated back to cover both of the flanks of Kong Suo's infantry forces, who had begun moving in formation toward to main gate.*
((I think that pretty much takes care of Xu Fu's army ;-) SYC, you may begin the main assault.))

Xu ignored the spitting messenger he knew his men would not allow this man to leave alive. As he hurled forward and through the gates they close behind him.
When the messenger rode off back to his forces. Arrows were sent flying at him. The dishonor to Xu Fu was unbearable to his Crossbowmen. They would not let this man live.
The arbalest made their calculation at the approaching enemy archers. At the moment the enemy were about to take aim. The arbalest fired their weapon. The aim was dead center of the enemy crossbowmen. The bolts released were deadly to all in its path. They continue firring as long as the enemy is in range.
Upon Xu's entering the castle several bolts landed around him but the distance had left them spent and just grazed his armor.
When entered he calls to his crossbowmen to shoot and squat men shoot and squat. They focus now upon any horsemen coming there way. They do as told and use the wall defenses to load and aim carefully.
Xu gathers his cavalry to wards the north gate. The spotters in the tower give signals to the arbalest and warns of what troops are advancing.
Edit: At the north gate. Oh yea Xu Fu's force: 380 Mounted Shock/Storm with Sword/Composite Bow / Chainmail 100 Imperial Guards/ Armoured Horse / Glaives and Plate male 30 Imperial Guards/ Armoured Horse / Spear and Plate male 20 Imperial Guards/ Armoured Horse/ CompositeBows/ Sword and Plate male 20 engineers /20 Horses/Chainmail

Xu Fu's Tactics*10 Men take a chemical used with another and and ride unto the middle of the field. They put the 2 chemicals together and quickly creates a lot of smoke just enough to cover Xu Fu's crossbowmen as they head and launch arrows in an attack and cover them as they retreat. However Xu Fu's general Xu Wang heads at the rear of the Archers while they retreat taking a good look at the camp once he falls back. Zhao Forces are now confused to the attack and much fall back from the battlefield and regenerate (*Falling back doesn't mean to another area your just out of the smoke get me?) Post Order [/u] Sun Yuan Ci Bya Kou Xu Fu Next Person who wants to jump in Given 4 hours to post after Xu Fu and before Sun Yuan Ci[/quote] You dare delete my post? Fine, I'll do the same to you. Your not the mod here and it's that simple. You can't mod for crap anyways.

Erik, you were too light on those losses, but oh well.
Xu Fu: you got annihilated this turn, you know that right?
Your troops left and attempted to attack SYC, in which they were stopped and beaten by a lot of elephants and powerful cavalry, from your front and flank. Though you ordered their retreat, they would still be attacked by both the elephant troops and cavalry. Your getting heavy losses. You'll complain about this, call it cheating, and give me total shit for it. I've been doing this for a long time, I know how to be biased, and I know how to not be biased.
I'm counting damage to all of your units, as I can't find one any other post that what you've told me and what Jorge has posted for you. You do have archers apparently on the walls, which I will take into effect. You posted no formation or troops, thus I and others will assume for you. That's how the game is played out, just like duels. Losses: Total = 385. You were attacked by 200 Elephants, your infantry units would be wiped out. Also experienced cavalry. Elephants would scare your men, and morale would plummet. You were being attacked from two sides, with no formation, and no defense at all. -70 Shock/Storm Twin Swords with Battle Robes -125 Twin Swordmen with Battle Robes -20 engineers /40 Horses/Chainmail -100 Mounted Shock/Storm with Sword/Composite Bow / Chainmail -30 Pirates On Chariots With Pike and Plate male -25 Imperial Guards/ Armoured Horse / Glaives and Plate male -10 Imperial Guards/ Armoured Horse / Spear and Plate male -5 Imperial Guards/ Armoured Horse/ CompositeBows/ Sword and Plate male
Jin Pin: Sending your troops into open fire screwed you over. Kong Suo and Bya Kou effectively stopped you from obliterating them, as they both defended and attacked you, in most cases. Losses: Total = 190 You sent your troops into open fire and put them in a formation, which means they moved around, took the fire and did nothing but stand there and attempt to hope nothing bad would happen. -5 Marines Composite Longbows / Chainmail (on walls? just subtract them) -10 Marines with Crossbow / Chain Mail (detachment) -70 Marines with Battle Axes (detachment) -85 Crossbowmen (detachment) -20 on walls
Sun Yuan Ci: You effectively avoided any attacks, other that those 100 crossbowmen who, are almost gone by now. Losses: Total = 80 As they were unprotected, yet also many other troops appeared and took the attention of the enemy. By next turn you won't have anymore. -80 Crossbowmen (Front)
Bya Kou: Great tactics, but you got hit hard, and I hope you know it too. There are a lot of enemy crossbowmen, and thus it's hard to avoid all of that fire. Losses: Total = 70 Crossbowmen ducked, retreated and sniped, while moving. Hard to keep moving, but would work. -70 Crossbowmen
Kong Suo: Your detachment units are nearly spared, as when you have 200 elephants coming for you, you forget about fighting effectively. However, you sustain losses, as thatch shields aren't all what they are made out to be. Losses: Total = 200 You did well here, you effectively drew fire, and yet defended against it while firing. For this, I take my hat off to you. -80 Light Infantry (Militia/Sword/Light Chain Mail/Thatched Shield) -70 Archers (Militia/Composite Bow) -20 Armored Pikemen (Militia/Pike/Battle Robe) -10 Amazon Riders (Amazon/Horse/Composite Bow/Battle Robe/Scimitar)
-20 Breaker Cavalry (Militia/Pike/Battle Robe/Embossed Shield/Sword/Armored Horse)
Over all: Gate has been destroyed (western) Han loses 575 troops Zhao loses 350 troops
Han: This was very bad. I've seen bad battles, and this is one of them surely. I understand you may be new to this, or haven't fought a lot, but if you can't look over your posts and look at others without thinking about things, then your destined to fail. The only thing that caused loses was the sheer size of Jin Pin's crossbowmen troops. I know you'll complain about this, and call it un fair, but it'd only prove my suspicions that you've got no idea what your doing. I suggest that you talk to Cao before you post, and get some help from him. If not, then I will help you, as I gave tips to you Xu Fu in our little pm conversation.
Zhao: This is why I allowed you to be grand commander, Brian. And why I knew I needed you, Kong Suo on my side, and as well as you Bya Kou. Well done, you've proved your worth. Tactics are strong, and thus you really took it to the han.

That's your decision. I will give control of your troops to Jin Pin, and Cao Cao if he wants it so. I'm sorry that you see it this way, I can't get past your ego and well, ignorance in this subject and attempt at teaching you something about writing, and writing in battles.

Actually, yes you were. You may attempt to forget about posting it, but I remember you telling me what you did in pm's, and also the post you made jorge post, with all of your troops outside the castle.
I finally see what your thinking about.
Sorry, no.
You sent them out, ready to fight, you listed no numbers for the troops you sent out. And attempted to attack someone. You can't just withdraw them that quick, in a matter of seconds. You failed to cooperate with the post order, and thus that post was voided. I'm sorry. :/
Current Post order: Sun Yuan Ci Bya Kou Jin Pin Kong Suo
