The Phoenix looked about, not only at the workers, but also at the people lumbering about. He shook his head at the slow and not so steady production of the gate. He grumbled at the laborers as he approached, and they quickly backstepped away from him. Beside him were four body guards, four sabermen. They had their arms crossed over their chests as they glared at everyone.
"Who is in charge here?" Sima Feng grumbled, and watched a bald old man strutter forward. The Phoenix smiled at this, for he though it kind of humorious that someone so old, would be doing a young man's job. The old man raised his hand, and gulped.
"Don't worry, old man, I am not here to replace you, I am here to see you get this done on time. As it seems we have a lot of work ahead of us, and not alot of time to do it. Now, we need to get this done, and soon. So, with the help of the old man, Feng, using some scholarly knowledge were able to build a crane, to make it easier to move bricks up the walls. Soon they had an army of the things, quickly putting bricks in place.

*The city of Jiao Zhi, just recently saw the end of a battle for it’s territory, which was still apparent with the bustling workers that were running to and fro. The sound, though loud, was actually quite uplifting, since it was the sound of creation and reconstruction. Something that many people now-a-days thought was necessary. As work continued with men both young and old doing their part, the foreboding cloud of dust began to arise from the north-western direction. The cloud was something all soldiers of war are familiar with - the cloud of marching troops. Alarms would probably be immediately rang, and the defenses heightened, but upon inspection of the troops approaching it would become clear they were not intent on battle.
Each soldier held their arms above their head, with their weapons firmly visible in their hands. Their shields were fastened on their back, common place for traveling. The leader of the troops walked ahead of the group doing the exact same gesture as his followers. His twin swords were clasped above his head, while his pink-ish cape hung around his body, concealing any other weapons that he might possess, or might not. The leader looked young, his facial features showing his youthful age. He had chocolate brown hair that hung around his face in uneven sizes, and tied in the back in a ponytail. However young and juvenile the warrior appeared, it was obvious his troops held him in high respect. Who would walk countless kilometers to a city that could possibly think they are hostile, while all the while holding their weapon above their head? It was a test of mental and physical strength, and also a test of trust. The soldiers obviously trusted this young man with their lives.
In unprecedented unison the soldiers halted, while their leader continued a few paces forward so his voice would carry to the guards upon the wall. All, including the young warrior, still held their weapons high. The leader turned his head towards the guards, revealing deep brown eyes that one could easily drown in. By appearance alone, it was clear now why these people followed such a leader. He had an aura of confidence and charisma that many people would willingly follow to their death. As he spoke it also became clear that his voice held the quality firmness of a leader, that only enhanced his seemingly perfect appearance.*
[White]“My name is Fabian Saladin. However, I go by the simple name Troy to all of those I call friend. I come here to speak with your leader, He Zi. Can you inform him of my arrival? Also, my army is weary after out trek here and I would like to request some accommodations so they may be ready to depart if needed.”[/White]

The guards of Jiao Zhi, though comfortable in the fact that numerous generals were inside the city, were still 'on edge' at first after seeing an army approaching. After all, it could have been a barbarian army intent on taking the city back.
The army was large and the young leader possessed an aura of strength. No doubt He Zi would be interested in meeting with such a man.
"Very well" a guard says while waving his hand.
Signals are given and the gates slowly begin to open.
