Post by Wang Ping on Sept 27, 2006 8:27:52 GMT -5
*Finally his men and himself had reached their destination. Long had they traveled from their home town, but now they were in the city they longed to be in. Word had gotten to the town a brave man named Sun Qi had resided here in Yang Ding, and knowing something had to be down under a strong leader, Wang Ping and his comrades moved north to join the armies of this Sun Qi. Wang Ping was sitting on his steed, as the small band of friends and brothers marched to the the city of Yang Ding. No enormous, luxurious palace was seen from a far. It seemed the ruler here lived humble and understood the fact he was in his position only because the land was in danger.*
*He had seen the terror of the Zhao Empire. It first crushed all real opposition seen in the land. Long had they been small and had only a small size of followers. But meanwhile, the criminal mastermind of the one called Du Jung had bribed the pathetic and cowardly leaders of Wako and Si. Ahsparr and Shang Xilang. Both were constantly being threatened and failed to find one capable man in their vast armies. And so, with the real resistance coming from weakened Old Han Empire and the lonely State of Cheng, nothing could be done against the power of corruption. All were bribed and all men that were loyal of that generation had soon all died away. All that remained were either followers of the corrupt Illegal Zhao Empire, which used the military to silence all voices.*
*And now, exactly 52 years later, the land was at the verge of renewing. Although, that was Wang Ping hoped. The Zhao Empire had eventually killed itself with all the selfish and greedy people being in charge of the government. Backstabbing wasn't rare and banquets were feared. But it was soon to change. Under the leader Sun Qi, the independent forces, perhaps along side the barbarian tribes, would march to the capital of the Zhao Territory and restore order in the land. Had Justice prevailed 52 years before, the reforms of the Great Yuan Shu had probably kept these bandits from gaining so much ground in China land. The Great Wall would have been strengthened and such vile creatures from the north would never have come so far to plunder the Chinaman's home.*
*But it was too late for so much thinking. Wang Ping looks to his left and right and sees his two appointed leaders are admiring the land. Their hearts were at ease and they didn't know what kind of peril was awaiting them. Neither did Wang Ping. But it had to be bloody. The Zhao Empire was not willing to give up their absolute power so easily. They would only give up if every last one of those suppressors were all dead. And Wang Ping was ready to help a hand with that. And as Wang Ping thinks about that, he looks up and realizes they are just a few hundred meters away from the city walls. And as soon as Wang Ping and his men had halted in front of the city gates and saw the guards look to them, Wang Ping yelled over to them.*
"Brave soldiers of Fang, of the leader of Fang, Sun Qi, please allow a humble servant and his soldiers to enter the capital of Fang. I am here to enlist me and my comrades to the army of Fang, just you did when the man Sun Qi raised up to save us all. What is your reply?"

*There were several armed guard atop the gate, who looked down at the army. They were uneasy about letting an entire army in.*
Guard: You may enter, but your army must remain outside the city. Once you reach the palace you must hand over your weapons, and agree to a search. If this is acceptable, then you may enter.
*Assuming Wang Ping agrees to the terms, he is lead to the palace alone. From there he is disarmed and searched and lead into the palace. It was a large palace, large enough to hold many officers and soldiers of Fang. Not as luxurious as many other palaces in the land, but it had it's charm. WAng Ping was lead before Sun Qi, who sat on his throne about 30 paces away. Wang Ping was instructed to introduce himself.*

*Unfortunatly, the Fang soldiers seemed not to be the most perfect representatives of the Fang Kingdom. Upon hearing his comrades, the men he grew up with in his home town, weren't allowed to enter the palace, this option was closed. He shook his head, after hearing the demand from the guards and saluted to them.*
"I apoligize, but I refuse to let my friends stay out here in the open, while danger is every to destroy loyal and brave men. Please say your lord I wish him good luck in doing whatever his goals are. But I fear my place is not here."
*And so, the small band of brothers turned around and left the area of Yang Ding.*

*Liu Bang barges in the door weapons drawn and very mad* Liu Bang: Lord Sun Qi, was i not promised to be prefect and allowed to rule. A man should keep his words and oblige to them and not make false statments just to lure people to join you. I was promised to be prefect when i joined you. If you are backing on your words then tell me in advance were i can actually find a trusting ruler!

*Sun Qi watched with an amused look as the man burges in weapons drawn. Bit surprised his guards didn't stop him, two marines with swords and bronze shields stand in the way of Qi. Before Bang knows it, 5 more marines with swords and bronze shields close the doors and block his way out, while 5 flank him, swords at the ready, and shields ready to block any hits.*
Sun Qi: Back on my word eh? Perhaps you may explain to me why I have sources telling me you're with holding information about a spy in my kingdom? hmm? What's that? Is it possible you're the spy?
*In anger, Sun Qi stands up drawing his katanas, Honor and Justice, standing in between his two guards.*
Sun Qi: The penalty in my kingdom for treason is death! What do you have to say for yourself?
*Sun Qi has pure anger and hatred in his eyes, this man swore to serve him loyally, and has already proven disloyal. Outside the palace gates are barred, and 380 Marines with swords and bronze shields guard it, along with various Spearmen, Swordsmen, and Crossbowmen. Though Liu Bang's men were scattered among the city, doing their own thing, they also had no idea of what was going on.*
((You posted NOTHING of where your troops were, or that any came with you. So they are assumed outside the palace grounds among the city. They have no idea what is going on. So, dont try and say they come and save you, cause they dont know anything about it. My troops outside the palace our my own extra precaution.))

Arrival of Yin Du
In the lands of Yang Ding, a large company of men could be seen, about 1000 men strong. At their command was a youth donned in strange leather armor and metal gauntlets around his arms. These gauntlets were not normal armor, however; portruding from their sides were large cutting blades that were keen enough to slice a man's limbs from his body. This was Yin Du, a mercenary who worked in many places, even the islands of Nihon. One could tell, however, from the air this man had about him, that he was no ordinary mercenary leader. He had a noble air about him, and was handsome, his face seemingly untouched by war. What was a mercenary doing wandering the region of Yang Ding? He had but one purpose; to quit his mercenary harsh mercenary ways and join in military service. He was concerned for his mens' well being in this regard, but also wanted to learn more of strategy. As he and his company marched, they eventually came upon the Palace of Yang Ding. He dismounted from his fine red steed, calling out to the guards on the walls with a clear voice.
"I seek an audience with the honorable Sun Qi!"
The guards opened the gates, and soon went out to greet him, demanding he hand over any weapons he had in possession and the permission to be searched for concealed weapons. He complied with both requests, handing over his gauntlets, which the guards stared at in wonder. After they found no concealed weapons on his person, Yin Du entered the audience chamber, presenting himself before the throne, kneeling on one knee.
"Lord Sun Qi, I am Yin Du, a former mercenary who wishes to enter your service. I bring 1000 strong men with me, and my limited knowledge of startegy, along with my might."

((Dont try and kill me over an OC reason. Revenge characters are gay. Learn how to rp also.)) *Sun Qi was a bit confused about the post part, but he continued his angry glare.* Sun Qi: You traitor, you shall die here! *Sun Qi walked towards Liu Bang. His 4 guard approached Liu Bang, grabbing his arms to cause him to drop his weapon. Sun Qi then sliced Liu Bang's head off with his katana, Justice.* ((Post your last words)) Arrival of Yin DuIn the lands of Yang Ding, a large company of men could be seen, about 1000 men strong. He had his purple turban wrapped around his head, while his twin swords Justice and Honor stayed at his side. When the man entered, he could tell the man was a talented one, strong as well.* Sun Qi: You may join, but know what we are about first. Here in Fang, we strive to work to take down the tyrannical Zhao dynasty. If you swear me, you must swear undying loyalty to me, the Sun Family, and the Fang dynasty. You must also swear to do all in your power to aid us in taking down the Zhao dynasty. If you swear these things, I shall allow you in my army, gladly.
