*Sun Qi looks at the general with a grin. He did look decent, but Qi had a few things to say.*
Sun Qi: Well Phamtom, I am Sun Qi of the Sun family. The Zhao dynasty has killed three generations of my family. My great grand father Sun Jian, my grandfather Sun Fei, and my father Sun Neng. If you serve me, you must swear complete undying loyalty to me, and you must swear to fight the Zhao dynasty until your last breath. Swear this, and I will gladly accept you into my army.

A sweeping wind.
A harsh whistle of air.
And finally, a man.
A single robed and armore-bedecked man walks into the throne room, a walking stick whose head was wrapped in silk in his right hand, a katana at his side. He drops the Katana off at the palace gate guard, but does not stop. He has no need. He is expected.
He is always, expected.
So, walking forward, using the pole for support, he moves towards Sun Qi, stopping 30 paces from his throne.
Hmm... A warlord arises in the North, of where the territory is unsettled... and he plans to take it for himself? A novel approach... I congratulate you, although I know not your name...

Cao Liao was dressed in the sort of dressings that a advisor to a court would wear. It was obvious from his appearance that he was not the fighting type but the great blood of the Cao Family still ran through his veins. He approached the doors of the palace and spoke to the guard that stood on the right side of the gate. "Good day sir, I am Cao Liao. I request to have an audience with the lord of this city if it is such a convience for him."

The Monk seemingly shrugs, not giving out his name. He looks at the lord.
I'm afraid I can't hear you very well, my lord. I have come up short of hearing as of lately, from the pains that the world feels, and the constant clashing of swords.
So, may I advance to 10 paces? I'm sorry to ask it of you, but I'm afraid other's ears may wander into our conversation.... Unwanted ears...

*The guards nodded to him then one spoke.* Guard: If you wish to see lord Sun Qi, you must hand over your weapons and allow us to search you. Do you agree to this? *The guards motioned towards him to begin searching him if he allowed it.* The Monk seemingly shrugs, not giving out his name. He looks at the lord.I'm afraid I can't hear you very well, my lord. I have come up short of hearing as of lately, from the pains that the world feels, and the constant clashing of swords.
So, may I advance to 10 paces? I'm sorry to ask it of you, but I'm afraid other's ears may wander into our conversation.... Unwanted ears... *Sun Qi thought it was odd he wanted to advance, but he had no weapons, and Qi had his twin katanas. Qi's hand remained on the hilt of one, as he nodded to him.* Sun Qi: You may approach another 10 paces.

The Monk took his ten paces, and actually going a little over, not a ton, but it was a judge of character, as the Monk was there for that reason only. He stopped at the 19 1/2 pace, and looked at Sun Qi.
Sun Qi, eh? Well, if you are indeed the great great grandson of The Tiger of Jiang Dong, then you must know why I am here? And if you don't, I'd like to find out myself...

"I have no objection to a search...." He handed over his sword as it was his only weapon that he was armed with at the moment. His longbow had been left at the hotel where he had been residing as of a few days ago.

*The guards nodded, taking his sword and searching him. When he was clear they lead him through the palace till they reached the outside of the throne room. They realized Qi had another audience and they turned to Cao Liao.*
Guard: Lord Sun Qi has another audience at the moment. You can either wait here until lord Sun Qi is finished, or you may speak to lord Sun Qi's sister, Sun Li. She speaks for her brother, knowing exactly what he wants in his officers.
*Sun Qi noticed he took an extra 1/2 a pace towards him. Though it wasn't what Qi allowed, he didn't really care. It was only a half a pace after all, what harm could it do. Qi was not about to make a fuss over something so meaningless. When hearing of his great grandfather he smiled and nodded.*
Sun Qi: I am indeed the great grandson of Sun Jian, the Tiger of Jiang Dong...though I must apolgize, for I do not know why you are here..

The Monk shrugged again, and then spoke, perhaps for the final time.
Well, then, I guess I only have one question.
A fools erand is what it seems to be plaguing this northern country, as you fight amongst each other, holding security at its highest, and not allowing a single person to choose how to live their life.
So, if you, as the leader of this place, intend to defeat this fools erand, why have you let someone into your palace, within 20 paces of you, armed?
The Monk pulled away the silk around the top of the cane, and suddenly, a jade blade pierced through the air. he held it at its length, towards Sun Qi.
Men must be more careful, at least the Zhao took my weapons from me...
He turned on his heel, and began to walk away. He used the naginta as a support on his right side, although it was unnecessary, and grabbed his katana, shoving it into the sash at his side, and walked out, where 100 other Shaolin monks awaited, all holding Katana's, and all wearing the ceremonial battle robes, along with shields.
Bapuzi disproves of the Fang!

*The grasp on the hilt of his katana tightens as Sun Qi is tempted to go take the old mans head. He keep his cool though, and just sits back in his throne letting him go.*
*As the man leaves, the guard shrug and turn back to Cao.*
Guard: It seems lord Sun Qi's other audience has ended. Enter and introduce yourself.

Cao Liao simply nodded and entered the throne room. It was magnificent in size and at the far end of it, atop of a throne, a man sat there. Cao Liao bowed before he rose and smiled almost to himself. "My lord, I am Cao Liao. Son of Zhang and grandson of Mengda of the same family name. I would formost like to say that I would be honored if you would accept my offer to serve under you. My regional post is 500 households strong and I have gather nearly 1000 troops from it and I am ready to march under your banner." His words were strong and loud so that the lord on the far side of the room could hear him.

Interesting..I am Sun Qi, the great grandson of Sun Jian, the Tiger of Jiang Dong. I'm positive they mostly met at one time. I will accept you into my ranks if you swear undying loyalty to me, the Sun family, and Fang. You must also swear to rid the world of the Zhao dynasty, for their time is over and they must fall. Cao Liao nodded. "I swear my loyalty to you my lord. And to destory the Zhao Dynasty has been a goal of my family for many years. My grandfather was the General of the Flying Chariots and his army was destoryed by the Zhao."
