I doubt the post count counts anymore, and if it does - I had 100 before! So, neh!...
Created by Lyle, Elmo, Matt (Both of them), and Jesse, the site promises both a mix of free form role play and free form battles, completely done by the player's whim. You will not see a single pre-set battle, but you might see a pre-set up role play start via the act system. I suggest you join, or at least take a look.

For much of their history, relations between the countries of Tephos and Ferrenis have not been good. A mountain range seperates the two countries, save for a fertile river plain in the very center of the range: the Raysfields, These fields have been the object of several wars, and currently belong to Ferrenis, though by treaty neitehr side can station armies within fifty miles.
Ferrnis is ruled by a royal family of cougars. Tephos' kings are apointed according to a circle dictated by the Panbestian Church, and the current ruler is from the Ursid (Bear) house. Both countries maintain active espionage programs, and that is where our hero enters the story.
Volle is a fox from the streets of Ferrenis's capital city, Caril, who was admitted to the prestigious Royal Academy and enrolled as a spy-in-training. He has been somewhat of a disappointment to his in instructors, doing just enough to get by in his classes and using the rest of his free time to get to acquainted with the night life of Caril.
Rumors have reached the Ferrenians of a plot against their country within the Tephossian nobility. When word comes from a contact in Tephos that there is an opportunity for a Ferrenian spy to infiltrate the nobility there, Volle's supperiors are thrilled - until they hear that the spy must be a red fox. With no other foxes even close to ready, Volle is pressed into service. He becomes part of a small team sent to Divalia, the capital city of Tephos, where he presents himself as the heir to the Vinton estates, in the far southern reaches of the country. The rest of the team consists of his roommate and best friend, Reese (a hare), and their mentor, Seir (a mouse). Reese poses as a merchant, and he and Seir join a Fenrrian team already in place in Divila, while Volle goes on to the caste alone.
The Vinton nobility are foxes, but the last one died many years ago. Volle claims to have been the bastard son of the last Lord Vinton, conceived after a minor border skrimish in which the Lord led his forces in Ferrenis. Thanks to an old black wolf, Lord Tishunish, he gains the confidence of the palace's nobility and assumes the role of Lord Vinton.
Lord Tishunish, who goes by "Tish" to his friends, becomes Volle's friend and confidant. Volle quickly makes another friend, a young weasel noble by the name of Helfer, whose title is Lord Ikling of Vellenland, "Hef" disdains politics but is only too happy to show Volle the nightlife of Divalia.
Volle meets another resident of the castle, Dereath Tailson, a rat who is an assistant to Lord Fardew, the Minister of Defense. Dereath already seems to know a lot about him and wants to get to know him better. Volle, in declining his offer, offends the rat, who is quick to turn on him.
Apart from avoiding Dereath, he finds life at the castle pleasurable. He does not find any evidence of a plot against Ferrenis, so he relaxes and settles into life. Tish and his wife, Tika, arrange for for him to meet and become engaged to a young vulpine noble, Ilyana Rodion.
Things seem to be going well, until Prince Gennic of Ferrenis is assassinated - by Xiller(One of Volle's friend from the palace) who is executed almost immediately for the crime. Volle is shattered, not just at the duel loss, but also because he holds himself responsible for not uncovering the plot. He applies himself to making up for his mistake, and discovers the mastermind, allowing his colleagues to exact a messure of revenge. Dereath appears to have uncovered his secret, having sniffed out something odd about Volle's past, but Volle's superiors have covered his tracks well enough to dismiss the rat's accusations, though the rat refuses to be convinced of Volle's innocence.
In the process, Volle discovers that his friend Tish is more involved with Ferrenian intelligence than he thought, and the shared secret cements their friendship further. Ilyana bears him a son and takes the cub down to Vinton estates to be raised, allowing her to live in the Vinton palace and be seen by the people, and allowing Volle the freedom to continue his espionage.
Five years after these events, Volle gets wind of a covert scheme to deploy troops to the Reysfields and take them back in a single bold stroke. Because of the covert nature, only one set of plans has been drawn up. In an attempt to delay the deployment, Volle steals them from the office of Lord Fardew, hoping that if the King thinks the plans have been taken to Fenneris, he will abandon or delay the attack. Before he can take two steps outside the Minister's office, however, he hears pursuit. He barely has time to stash the plans in a secret hiding place before he is captured by Dereath, now the top assistant to Lord Fardew, and throw and jail for espionage.
Although the plans were not discovered on him, Dereath keeps him prisoner in a secret, while everyone else assumes he has run away or been killed. After five months, Dereath sends a young white wolf to torture Volle, intending the two should fall in love so that he could use the wolf to get Volle's secret. The wolf, whom Volle nicknames "Streak," falls in love with him and helps him escape instead.
Volle manages to retrieve the plans and contacts his associates, and when it comes time for him to flee the city and return to Ferrenis, he invites Streak to come with him.
They lived peacefully on a farm for a year, until a letter, written in familiar paw, arrived.
Lord Tishtunish, or "Tish" invites Volle back in order to attend his trial. Thrilled with the thought of returning to the palace of Davila, Volle persuades Streak to let him go and once Volle allows Streak to go, too, the two set off for Lord Ikling's land - Vellenland, where his hearing was to be.
Once back into Tephos, Volle is enmeshed in a web of murder, set on by his long time enemy, Dereath, who was now Lord Fardew. The only supposed witness to Volle's crime, a female mouse by the name of Jatha Malion, is killed in Dereath's quarters with the only suspect being Streak.
Volle, after talking to Dereath, was granted one five minute visit to the wolf. The two spoke only for, once his five minutes were up, Volle to be framed. A cougar guard lay dead at the base of the stairs that led up to Streak's cell, and Dereath arrived to 'catch' Volle. Unbeknownst to Volle, Dereath was using a form of scent transfer, to pass ones scent onto an object or person, to frame both he and Streak. Volle, though, had powered cinnamon into his fur before visiting Streak and while his scent was on the murder weapon, a wicked looking knife, the scent of cinnamon wasn't.
Explaining this to Archie, Hef's resident detective, Archie set out to prove Volle's innocents.
At the trial Volle and Streak, thanks to a lie from Archie, are set free and Tailson was imprisoned on two counts of murder.
After the trial, one of the guards of Volle's cell asked Volle to except his resignation from the military. Volle declined and, instead, took him on as his personal bodyguard. Forrin promised to protect Volle, no matter what.
Less than two days later, Volle's original trial came up, this time he was on trial for espionage and impersonating a noble. Tish had reminded Volle to wear a pendant he had long since had, a family heirloom, to the trial. At the trial Tish told the saddening tale of the family of Butcher, the last Fox King of Tephos. He was killed by his own followers for his cruel methods and with it, so was his family. He claimed, though, that one of Butcher's sons, Archer, escaped - while his brother was killed in the very room. Archer and his brother both had a pendant with a fox on the front, the very one Volle wore.
Convinced of Volle's nobility, King Barris reinstates Volle as Lord Vinton and dismisses the case. All the while the real killer, Dereath's personal assistant, held Streak at knife point in Fardew's chambers. Volle arrives to see Streak tied up and the rabbit's knife at his throat. He promised that only Volle had to die and Volle, seeing no way to save Streak and himself, listens to the rabbit. His bodyguard, Forrin, whom was earlier told to toss his sword to the far end of the room, signaled to Volle to get the rabbit's back to him.
Volle did so and Forrin, keeping his word, killed the rabbit by biting into his neck.
Volle and Streak saved and the true killer dead, knew that there was no way Dereath would remain a prisoner. Volle paid Dereath a visit, taunting him and trying to anger the friend of the guard Dereath had his rabbit assistant murder, succeeded to get the guard angry with Dereath. But before he could pull the plan off, the royal guard came by, freeing Dereath. And thus, Volle's feud with the rat was destined to continue.
News soon reached Tephos and Ferrenis of furless, fleshy, barbarians from the Northern lands – both of which seemed to have steamed from the same evolutionary chain but evolved to fit their regions. In the west was the small nation of Menfros, a cold and desolate place, Tephos never stationed troops there. The result was this horde-like barbarian group. Humans, as they called themselves, shouted words of their superiority.
To the East was the larger nation, striking fast and taking two of Ferrenis’ former estates – Lesser Gaia, a holy land of which the teachings of Gaia was rumoured to have started, and Eastern Seria, a large plain like region which was divided into an Eastern and Western district when it was found difficult to govern by the former Lord Seria.
The human church came on a peace going mission but when many of the furs learned that their way was ‘Forgiveness as long as you are in the Church’ and was unified under a single god, they banished it outright. Thus war was no doubt looming on the horizon as the furless heathens gathered their troops and bent their twisted ways towards Tephos and Ferrenis.
