Tier 1
Militia - 1 for 3 Gold
These are the bread and butter units of any army, as they are the usually most represented force, because of their cheap fee, and easily useable styles. Weak overall, comapred to any other units, these are mostly meatshield when fighting a stronger enemy, but can be effecitve if commanded right. Basically peasants with 2 hours of training.
Swords - 10 for 10 gold
Swords were generally the most common weapon used, it is quicker than the spear, and easier to handle. Swords were used mainly against enemy spearmen, as the swordsmen could easily out outperform the long weapon wielders in close combat.
Spears - 10 for 10 gold
Spears along with swords are the most commonly used weaponry during this time, they are long poles with a bladed tip. They work wonders against Cavalry, easily able to kill more than other Tier 1 close combat unit. However they are weak against swordsmen, and vulnerable to flank and rear attacks.
Daggers - 10 for 5 gold
Daggers were used mainly as a last resort weapon by Archers and Siege Weapon handlers. They are short bladed weapons usually about 1/5 the size of a sword and could not hold up to many large weapons. Daggers are better than no weapon, commonly used by archers who are being attacked and cannot flee.
Hand Axes - 10 for 10 gold
Used a lot by Barbarian forces as a counter to enemy swordsmen, they traditionally wore little, only their clothes. They are fast swinging and lethal weapons, however the swings needed to use them effectively can leave a man open to attack. Axemen have the same vulnerability to mounted units as Swordsmen.
Sling Shots - 10 for 5 gold
Commonly used during more ancient times, these were the first widely used ranged weapon, however now a days they are rarely seen. They are still useful however, having the best accuracy of all the missile units, however the power is very poor, and more likely to cause concussion than it is death. Effective to intimidate armies, but not so good to cause mass damage.
Javelins - 10 for 10 gold
Javelins were widely used for troops called Skirmishers. The art of Skirmishing is to attack the enemy from range, and flee behind a defensive line of troops, Javelins were the most common Skirmishers and having a long metal pole through your body or shield will seriously hinder your ability to attack. They are a powerful force, but not very long ranged.

The traditional long ranged weapon of the Chinese, long been used with great effect. These weapons fire metal bolts rather than arrows or other missiles. They fire forward rather than up in the air so care needs to be used. They can slaughter enemy formations when used by well trained men. They are the nemesis of unshielded and vulnerable troops.
Hunters Bow - 10 for 10 gold
The Crossbow was the main ranged weapon of China, but many more European style bows were being transported into China. The most weakest bow supplied was the Hunters Bow, it was designed in the same way as the Short Bow, yet lacks as much power or range, it is however small, easy to hide and deadly silent, and because of this is the favourite weapon of hunters and more militarily, Guerrilla fighters.
Horses - 10 for 15 gold
Plain steeds used for carrying troops into battle, they know enough about battle that they will be useful, but they are not experienced enough to always do what you command. When frightened these horses can some times run away from the enemy, and even trample your own army so use wisely. Horses hate spear formations, and many refuse to attack them.
Camels - 10 for 15 gold
Slower than horses, more hard work to keep healthy, and not as battle hardened. However these desert dwelling beasts seem to affect enemy horses, they give off a scent which the enemy steeds become afraid of. They are useful for raids and in very hot conditions. They have the same vulnerability to spears as Horses.

The Chariot is an effective mounted unit, it comprises of a cart pulled by two horses, the cart is usually manned by 2 or 3 men, one person steering the horses, one firing a crossbow or bow and the other with a sword to cut down nearby enemies. Chariots decimate enemy formations, and when used wisely can be a winning factor for many armies.
Thatch Sheilds - 10 for 5 gold
Thatch Shields: Thatched shields are by far the most basic forms protection you'll have, but it is protection none the less. Used more by desert dwelling peoples than by their winter and humid neighbors, thatched sheilds still were used widely by all factions, just with others placing animal skin over it to add a thin extra layer of defence. Thatched shields, are simply put, woven shields made from wood. They can't stop many heavy - and even some lighter - weapons, but they offer more protection than no shielding what-so-ever.

Previously the Thatch shield was considered the basic shield, now a days the Bronze shield is considered to be the most basic shield used in China. It is a round shield, small and heavy giving minimal but effective protection to units on the battlefield. The shields are great in close quarters, but vulnerable to stab attacks and missile fire.
Leather Armour - 10 for 10 gold
Light, easy to put on and made for easy movements, it is the preferred armour of missile infantry as it allows them to move freely and flee quickly. The armour is easy to pierce, but better than no armour at all. It is water proof and warm, perfect for winter conditions.
Scale Mail - 10 for 15 gold
The more primitive form of battle armour, scale armour is basically scales of thin metal which overlap making a decent defence. In later ages Scale Mail became a popular armour choice, but at this time the metal scales are thin and designed to be a basic armour. Scale Mail is decent at stopping most attacks, however arrows and other missiles have been known to pierce easily. One problem it has is that is is quite heavy, and not meant for cold or hot climates.

These rarely kill many, but can inflict a lot of injuries to the enemy and the enemy troops will become less head strong. Normal Hounds are the worst Dog Troops on the game but still are effective when used in the right places.

The tactic simply called head Hurling was a common attack used by Barbarian tribes to scare their enemy with the decapitated heads of slaughtered enemies and allies a like. The Heads would be thrown causing injuries, demoralisation and in rare cases death. They were put into effective use before a charge to make the enemy less able to fight back due to lack of spirit. The Head Bag was a small bag able to carry a single Human head.
Tier 2 - When Capital Factory Level is at 1000
Marines - 1 for 5 Gold
These are the next step up. Regular infantry, is the best way to describe them. However, they are also somewhat adept at fighting on ships, making them the go-to men for this type of fighting.
Pirates - 1 for 5 Gold
These are almost identical to Marines, however they have less caution, and can be considered more dangerous. However, when seen in battle, the commander of these troops will often lose support from allies, and lose face in front of enemies, as it is dishonorable to be a pirate. They are stronger than Marines, though.
Scimitars - 10 for 15 gold
Scimitars are a style of sword which is bent, meaning a faster strike and more deadly enemy in close quarters. They were mostly used in more desert dwelling armies such as Numidians, Bantu and Egypt for a few examples. They excel in close quarters, but do not have as much reach as a normal sword. In numbers Scimitar wielding troops can rip apart pole armed men, and on horseback they are even more dangerous.

Sabers are similar in style to a dagger, yet the blade is increased in length some what, still not as long as a sword however. They given to more elite archers for defending themselves, without having to carry around a heavier weapon such as an Axe of Pike which would hinder their abilities. They are great for defending blows and can be very useful. Many armies in Africa often employed a unit of Dual Wielding Sabermen to fight as they were very useful, the extra blade become the man's defence and the other the man's attacking blade.
Pikes - 10 for 15 gold
The Spear was an effective anti-cavalry weapon, however an improvement upon the design led to the pike, a much more dominating and useful weapon. The spear tip was also given an axe head, meaning the men could both stab and slash effectively. The Shaft of the weapon was increased in length and was given a covering of metal to increase it's strength. These destroyed mounted units attacks in a few seconds, even a squad of Armoured Cavalry would not like to run into these points of death.
War Axe - 10 for 15 gold
The War Axe is basically a slight improvement over the hand axe. The axe head is large, and the handle stronger and slightly longer. This makes an effective weapon for close quarters.
Heavy Javelins - 10 for 15 gold
Javelins were put into great effect all over Europe and parts of Asia, however the old simple wooden pole with a metal tip and weight was soon improved upon, the wood was changed and the Javelin became totally metal, this meant extra weight, but also much more damage to the enemy. A strong squad of Heavy Javelin throwers could decimate an army before the main army needed to even begin a defence.
Throwing Knives - 10 for 10 gold
Easy to carry, hard to spot and perfect for ambushes. These blades were double bladed, perfectly balanced and deadly. They are not designed for battlefield combat, but more for ambushes or Guerrilla warfare. They are very short ranged so use wisely and against fully armoured men they have little effect.
Short Bow - 10 for 10 gold
The short bow was a basic bow made of a flexible wood such as Oak or Yew and was mainly used in Europe where temperatures would fluctuate throughout the year. They had a medium range, a capable bowman able to fire as long as a crossbow. They are widely used to volley arrows into enemy formations, slowly killing them off. Short Bows are less powerful than crossbows, but are more accurate and are hard to kill your own troops with as you fire into the air not in front of you.
Armoured Cavalry - 10 for 25 gold
Armoured cavalry can add further damage to even some of the units that once could hit cavalry hard. Even spearmen are vulnerable to a good charge from Armoured cavalry, yet Pikemen are able to keep them at bay. The most famous Armoured Cavalry were called Clibanarii or Cataphracts which were used widely around Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
Armoured Camels - 10 for 25 gold
Armoured Camels are very similar to Armoured Horses, however they are not quite as decimating to enemy infantry, however very strong against other mounted units, especially horsemen. They were often used by Desert Raiders because of their fierce capabilities.
Embossed Shield - 10 for 20 gold
The Embossed shield is a Kite Shield with the factions crest on the front. The shield is made of a firm iron meaning they weigh a bit but they do protect from a lot of attacks. They can stand up to most attacks and are a great addition to ground troops and mounted troops a like for their good defence.
Battle Robes - 10 for 15 gold
Battle Robes are based on the principle of movement rather than hardy defence. They are commonly worn by elite archers because of their great movement availability and their basic protection. Most come with leather breast plate, arm guards, shin guards and some times a cap helmet. This armour is very warm in winter and very cool in summer.
Chain Mail - 10 for 25 gold
Chain Mail is similar to scale mail, except the fact that chains over-link each other rather than thin metal pieces. This armour is very effective for cost as swords cannot stab through, arrows rarely puncture but it is prone to more internal damage. Attacks usually break bones rather than kill, more painful yet more useful, at least you are less likely to die with this armour on.
Combat Outfit - 10 for 15 gold
The Combat Outfit is a sort of armour, it is very light, silent and comoflauged. The main purpose of this outfit is to make as little noise as possible, as well as make the troops hard to spot in the right conditions. It includes Leathers Padding and shin guards. The Robes are the main part of the outfit, they are coloured brown and green like a primitive camoflauge. Only give troops with ambush type weapons as it will suite them more. This is not a strong armour, so use wisely.
War Hounds - 10 for 25 gold
The War Hounds were far more vicious and brutal than the normal hound seen in battle. They could literally rip flesh apart with their aggression and sharpened fang like teeth. They were usually starved before battle to increase their wanting to feed. They were a deadly force to be up against by less disciplined troops
Tier 3 - When Capital Factory Level is at 2000
Shock Troopers - 1 for 6 Gold
These troopers are adept at cleaving their way through the enemy, and are best suited with stronger weapons, such as the ones listed in this tier list. They excell at breaking formations, as they tend to try and split the enemy in two, moving into the formation, and then enveloping each side from the inside, while other forces fight from the front and the opposite flanks. Bad at defending
Storm Troopers - 1 for 6 Gold
These are good Guerilla warfare units, and excell at fighting and retreating, Mongolian style. They are also good raiders, but, also like their coutnerparts, they are not very good at defending a single area, but better at moving between areas, and hitting the enemy and then retreating.
Eastern Swords - 10 for 30 gold
Based off the Japanese Katana, these swords are a deadly weapon on the battlefield, combining the benefits of both a sword and scimitar, making it strong, fast and great in close quarter situations. The blade is made in the same way a Katana, meaning it is near unbreakable on the battlefield.
2-Handed Axes - 10 for 35 gold
An improvement or a downgrade depending on how you look at it from the normal hand axe. They are large axes, only usable with 2 hands, even expert units cannot effectively wield these single handed. They are made for one thing, causing as much damage with as little as possible, and because of this the men using it are vulnerable to most attacks apart from spears which they can usually work around. They are very aggressive weapons, able to take down almost anything, yet expect high losses as well.
Poleaxes - 10 for 35 gold
Poleaxes combine the 2-handed axes and the pike into one weapon, this means the shaft is slightly longer than that of the 2-handed axe, and the tip has a spear point, making it both useful against infantry as it is against cavalry. Poleaxes need to be used with both hands to be handled well, but men have on rare occasions been seen holding with a shield and one hand.
Glaives - 10 for 35 gold
Glavies are a similar weapon to a pike, it has a similar design, apart from the normal Axe like head of the Pike has been removed and a more saber like blade added in it's place. It is a deadly weapon against cavalry and infantrymen a like. It is especially brutal on horseback.
Chu Ko Nu Crossbows - 10 for 30 gold
The Chu Ko Nu was a ranged unit which used a semi-automatic crossbow. The Chu Ko Nu could fire 5 bolts as fast as they could re-pull and release the string of the crossbow. They were inaccurate, and low ranged, but when close enough and with enough firing the Chu Ko Nu, could completely destroy an enemy unit.
Square Shield - 10 for 35 gold
The square shield was based loosely off the Roman Tower Shield, these however are not as high or as wide, and do not have the small crest in the center which could also be used as a form of attack. These are none the less very useful, and not much worse than the actual Tower Shields. They are well worth the money if you are after a great defensive unit.
Kite Shield - 10 for 40 gold
The Kite Shield is favourite of the Knight, it is light compared with a square shield, and is stronger, but less in size, meaning more susceptible to missiles and attacks, however these are great for cavalry men and infantry a like.
Iron Gauntlets - 10 for 30 gold
Usually troops would attack without protection of their hands, they saw no need when all people wore was Chain Mail or Scale Mail, they would still have their arms unprotected, but when Plate Mail was invented, the commanders of many armies saw that they only only showed shin around their wrists and areas of the neck. This was soon to be partially corrected when Gauntlets came about. These are basically armoured gloves which protect hands and give the men more grip to their weapons. These are for the armies wanting a near perfect force of troops.
Plate Mail - 10 for 45 gold
Whilst more barbaric and less rich armies had to use Chain or Scale mail, the forces of much higher class armies could afford to get the best for their troops. The best being Plate Mail. Plate Mail comprised of large metal plates overlapping each other to provide a heavy duty exterior to the Human body for protection. However it has one weakness, and that is from accurate stabs to the sides and arms where blades can get up and inflict damage. It is overall the best armour on the game.
Guerrilla Armour - 10 for 25 gold
The Guerrilla Armour is final stage of the ambush type armour. This armour comes with Metal arm and shin guards with a material padding to stop noise and a better camouflaged outfit. The Robes have been replaced with more modern day style clothing. Master of Guerrilla warfare choose this armour, it is not very good armour, but it is great for strategies where you need to stay silent.
Head Basket - 10 for 25 gold
The Head Hurling tactic continued to form the basis of Barbarian assaults. It continued in popularity and soon the simple head bag would not be enough and so the larger basket appearing holder was invented to place up to 4 heads for use in battle. This increased space ment that a single unit of head hurlers could do up to 4 times more damage than previously.
Tier 4 - When Capital Factory Level is at 4000
Imperial Guards - 1 for 8 Gold
The strongest units in the entirety of China, these men are unbreakable in will, and are the most adept at any weapon they wield. These are the guardians of Lords, the Kensai of the realm. Nothing can stop these men, besides others like them. Watch out.
2-Handed Swords - 10 for 45 gold
Large swords made for one purpose... total destruction of the enemy. These swords need to be held by strong troops to be used correctly as they require a lot of strength and stamina to use during battle. They require two hands as the name suggests and can quickly rip infantry units apart. They are very vulnerable to missile and cavalry fire, so use wisely.
Halberds - 10 for 45 gold
The Ultimate pole arm. They are the final advance of the spear, building on what the Pike had already accomplished. The Halberd was simply the increase in size of both the length of the shaft and the size of the blade and tip. This made the Halberd far more deadly against Cavalry and Infantry alike. They are nearly untouchable apart from flank attacks and more agile infantry.
Beserker Club - 10 for 40 gold
The Beserker Club is more of a mace than a club. It is made of a thick wooden handle, which expands at the end. The large end is given a metal ring, which is bent to produce a powerful edge to the weapon. The beast of a weapon is leathal, it can kill most men who are not wearing plate mail, and can literally send troops flying through the air. It is designed for aggressive fighters, it is not a defensive weapon by any means.
Longbows - 10 for 35 gold
The Longbow is an advance on the shortbow. The same way of making it applies, yet the size of the bows is increased along with the quality of the wood and the string making it fire much further and much more accurately. These bows can be used to wipe out enemy from a far with little effort. They are the best ranged unit in the game.
Tower Shields - 10 for 45 gold
The Tower shield is just like the Square shield, just that slight bit larger and broader. In the center there is a crest of the force it is designed for, it is made of metal and design charges or defences it comes in useful as an extra way to injure your enemy, hitting an enemy soldier with it in the face for instance will leave him open for an easy kill. The shield is large, large enough to block the occasional arrow volley, but expect losses if you do not give these to well trained soldiers.
Steel Gauntlets - 10 for 40 gold
A simple improvement over the Iron Gauntlets, these are simply made of the harder and lighter Steel. They complete any army with professional looking troops.
War Stallions - 10 for 55 gold
The War Stallion is a great steed, advanced in the arts of war, able to help it's rider in combat. When it feels threatened by near by enemies, it will lash out with it's rear hooves, as well as judge situations better than a regular horse. Expect lower losses when units are equipped with these.

These destroyed mounted units attacks in a few seconds, even a squad of Armoured Cavalry would not like to run into these points of death.
War Axe - 10 for 15 gold
The War Axe is basically a slight improvement over the hand axe. The axe head is large, and the handle stronger and slightly longer. This makes an effective weapon for close quarters.
Heavy Javelins - 10 for 15 gold
Javelins were put into great effect all over Europe and parts of Asia, however the old simple wooden pole with a metal tip and weight was soon improved upon, the wood was changed and the Javelin became totally metal, this meant extra weight, but also much more damage to the enemy. A strong squad of Heavy Javelin throwers could decimate an army before the main army needed to even begin a defence.
Throwing Knives - 10 for 10 gold
Easy to carry, hard to spot and perfect for ambushes. These blades were double bladed, perfectly balanced and deadly. They are not designed for battlefield combat, but more for ambushes or Guerrilla warfare. They are very short ranged so use wisely and against fully armoured men they have little effect.
Short Bow - 10 for 10 gold
The short bow was a basic bow made of a flexible wood such as Oak or Yew and was mainly used in Europe where temperatures would fluctuate throughout the year. They had a medium range, a capable bowman able to fire as long as a crossbow. They are widely used to volley arrows into enemy formations, slowly killing them off. Short Bows are less powerful than crossbows, but are more accurate and are hard to kill your own troops with as you fire into the air not in front of you.
Armoured Cavalry - 10 for 25 gold
Armoured cavalry can add further damage to even some of the units that once could hit cavalry hard. Even spearmen are vulnerable to a good charge from Armoured cavalry, yet Pikemen are able to keep them at bay. The most famous Armoured Cavalry were called Clibanarii or Cataphracts which were used widely around Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
Armoured Camels - 10 for 25 gold
Armoured Camels are very similar to Armoured Horses, however they are not quite as decimating to enemy infantry, however very strong against other mounted units, especially horsemen. They were often used by Desert Raiders because of their fierce capabilities.
Embossed Shield - 10 for 20 gold
The Embossed shield is a Kite Shield with the factions crest on the front. The shield is made of a firm iron meaning they weigh a bit but they do protect from a lot of attacks. They can stand up to most attacks and are a great addition to ground troops and mounted troops a like for their good defence.
Battle Robes - 10 for 15 gold
Battle Robes are based on the principle of movement rather than hardy defence. They are commonly worn by elite archers because of their great movement availability and their basic protection. Most come with leather breast plate, arm guards, shin guards and some times a cap helmet. This armour is very warm in winter and very cool in summer.
Chain Mail - 10 for 25 gold
Chain Mail is similar to scale mail, except the fact that chains over-link each other rather than thin metal pieces. This armour is very effective for cost as swords cannot stab through, arrows rarely puncture but it is prone to more internal damage. Attacks usually break bones rather than kill, more painful yet more useful, at least you are less likely to die with this armour on.
Combat Outfit - 10 for 15 gold
The Combat Outfit is a sort of armour, it is very light, silent and comoflauged. The main purpose of this outfit is to make as little noise as possible, as well as make the troops hard to spot in the right conditions. It includes Leathers Padding and shin guards. The Robes are the main part of the outfit, they are coloured brown and green like a primitive camoflauge. Only give troops with ambush type weapons as it will suite them more. This is not a strong armour, so use wisely.
War Hounds - 10 for 25 gold
The War Hounds were far more vicious and brutal than the normal hound seen in battle. They could literally rip flesh apart with their aggression and sharpened fang like teeth. They were usually starved before battle to increase their wanting to feed. They were a deadly force to be up against by less disciplined troops
Tier 3 - When Capital Factory Level is at 2000
Shock Troopers - 1 for 6 Gold
These troopers are adept at cleaving their way through the enemy, and are best suited with stronger weapons, such as the ones listed in this tier list. They excell at breaking formations, as they tend to try and split the enemy in two, moving into the formation, and then enveloping each side from the inside, while other forces fight from the front and the opposite flanks. Bad at defending
Storm Troopers - 1 for 6 Gold
These are good Guerilla warfare units, and excell at fighting and retreating, Mongolian style. They are also good raiders, but, also like their coutnerparts, they are not very good at defending a single area, but better at moving between areas, and hitting the enemy and then retreating.
Eastern Swords - 10 for 30 gold
Based off the Japanese Katana, these swords are a deadly weapon on the battlefield, combining the benefits of both a sword and scimitar, making it strong, fast and great in close quarter situations. The blade is made in the same way a Katana, meaning it is near unbreakable on the battlefield.
2-Handed Axes - 10 for 35 gold
An improvement or a downgrade depending on how you look at it from the normal hand axe. They are large axes, only usable with 2 hands, even expert units cannot effectively wield these single handed. They are made for one thing, causing as much damage with as little as possible, and because of this the men using it are vulnerable to most attacks apart from spears which they can usually work around. They are very aggressive weapons, able to take down almost anything, yet expect high losses as well.
Poleaxes - 10 for 35 gold
Poleaxes combine the 2-handed axes and the pike into one weapon, this means the shaft is slightly longer than that of the 2-handed axe, and the tip has a spear point, making it both useful against infantry as it is against cavalry. Poleaxes need to be used with both hands to be handled well, but men have on rare occasions been seen holding with a shield and one hand.
Glaives - 10 for 35 gold
Glavies are a similar weapon to a pike, it has a similar design, apart from the normal Axe like head of the Pike has been removed and a more saber like blade added in it's place. It is a deadly weapon against cavalry and infantrymen a like. It is especially brutal on horseback.
Chu Ko Nu Crossbows - 10 for 30 gold
The Chu Ko Nu was a ranged unit which used a semi-automatic crossbow. The Chu Ko Nu could fire 5 bolts as fast as they could re-pull and release the string of the crossbow. They were inaccurate, and low ranged, but when close enough and with enough firing the Chu Ko Nu, could completely destroy an enemy unit.
Square Shield - 10 for 35 gold
The square shield was based loosely off the Roman Tower Shield, these however are not as high or as wide, and do not have the small crest in the center which could also be used as a form of attack. These are none the less very useful, and not much worse than the actual Tower Shields. They are well worth the money if you are after a great defensive unit.
Kite Shield - 10 for 40 gold
The Kite Shield is favourite of the Knight, it is light compared with a square shield, and is stronger, but less in size, meaning more susceptible to missiles and attacks, however these are great for cavalry men and infantry a like.
Iron Gauntlets - 10 for 30 gold
Usually troops would attack without protection of their hands, they saw no need when all people wore was Chain Mail or Scale Mail, they would still have their arms unprotected, but when Plate Mail was invented, the commanders of many armies saw that they only only showed shin around their wrists and areas of the neck. This was soon to be partially corrected when Gauntlets came about. These are basically armoured gloves which protect hands and give the men more grip to their weapons. These are for the armies wanting a near perfect force of troops.
Plate Mail - 10 for 45 gold
Whilst more barbaric and less rich armies had to use Chain or Scale mail, the forces of much higher class armies could afford to get the best for their troops. The best being Plate Mail. Plate Mail comprised of large metal plates overlapping each other to provide a heavy duty exterior to the Human body for protection. However it has one weakness, and that is from accurate stabs to the sides and arms where blades can get up and inflict damage. It is overall the best armour on the game.
Guerrilla Armour - 10 for 25 gold
The Guerrilla Armour is final stage of the ambush type armour. This armour comes with Metal arm and shin guards with a material padding to stop noise and a better camouflaged outfit. The Robes have been replaced with more modern day style clothing. Master of Guerrilla warfare choose this armour, it is not very good armour, but it is great for strategies where you need to stay silent.
Head Basket - 10 for 25 gold
The Head Hurling tactic continued to form the basis of Barbarian assaults. It continued in popularity and soon the simple head bag would not be enough and so the larger basket appearing holder was invented to place up to 4 heads for use in battle. This increased space ment that a single unit of head hurlers could do up to 4 times more damage than previously.
Tier 4 - When Capital Factory Level is at 4000
Imperial Guards - 1 for 8 Gold
The strongest units in the entirety of China, these men are unbreakable in will, and are the most adept at any weapon they wield. These are the guardians of Lords, the Kensai of the realm. Nothing can stop these men, besides others like them. Watch out.
2-Handed Swords - 10 for 45 gold
Large swords made for one purpose... total destruction of the enemy. These swords need to be held by strong troops to be used correctly as they require a lot of strength and stamina to use during battle. They require two hands as the name suggests and can quickly rip infantry units apart. They are very vulnerable to missile and cavalry fire, so use wisely.
Halberds - 10 for 45 gold
The Ultimate pole arm. They are the final advance of the spear, building on what the Pike had already accomplished. The Halberd was simply the increase in size of both the length of the shaft and the size of the blade and tip. This made the Halberd far more deadly against Cavalry and Infantry alike. They are nearly untouchable apart from flank attacks and more agile infantry.
Beserker Club - 10 for 40 gold
The Beserker Club is more of a mace than a club. It is made of a thick wooden handle, which expands at the end. The large end is given a metal ring, which is bent to produce a powerful edge to the weapon. The beast of a weapon is leathal, it can kill most men who are not wearing plate mail, and can literally send troops flying through the air. It is designed for aggressive fighters, it is not a defensive weapon by any means.
Longbows - 10 for 35 gold
The Longbow is an advance on the shortbow. The same way of making it applies, yet the size of the bows is increased along with the quality of the wood and the string making it fire much further and much more accurately. These bows can be used to wipe out enemy from a far with little effort. They are the best ranged unit in the game.
Tower Shields - 10 for 45 gold
The Tower shield is just like the Square shield, just that slight bit larger and broader. In the center there is a crest of the force it is designed for, it is made of metal and design charges or defences it comes in useful as an extra way to injure your enemy, hitting an enemy soldier with it in the face for instance will leave him open for an easy kill. The shield is large, large enough to block the occasional arrow volley, but expect losses if you do not give these to well trained soldiers.
Steel Gauntlets - 10 for 40 gold
A simple improvement over the Iron Gauntlets, these are simply made of the harder and lighter Steel. They complete any army with professional looking troops.
War Stallions - 10 for 55 gold
The War Stallion is a great steed, advanced in the arts of war, able to help it's rider in combat. When it feels threatened by near by enemies, it will lash out with it's rear hooves, as well as judge situations better than a regular horse. Expect lower losses when units are equipped with these.
