((Posting for the Gryffinator))
Lu Kai Li, along with his army and the prisoner Yukimura Sanada arrived at Ping Yuan, having travelled through Luo Yang, and making a headway towards the Han lands. They arrived, and immediately began moving towards the Zhao Fort, to hand in their travelling papers.

They were stopped immediately, even though it was well known within the army that this sudden defense and call to arms must have been in accordance with the Northern Pirates, who quickly trapped all in Shang Dang with the help of Zhao cutting any Han reinforcements off.. Wako was with war with the Han, Zhao was ready to proclaim it, as soon as the Han moved into their borders..
The guards are finally dispersed and sent off the the army camp where they relayed this message:
"All armies are to stay within the region and dig in for defenses. Eventually are armies may move on to the Han Capital or He Nai itself, and then Lou Yang as the Han Emperor has just died.."
Meanwhile the prisoner and the diplomat were taken from the large army, two guards from that army only being allowed. They were allowed to carry one weapon and one weapon at all. The guards and prisoner some 70 paces from the end of the castle's hall, where a make shift throne was put, Emperor Zhutai upon it. 50 Paces away from the throne the Diplomat would stand. The Imperial Rangers were at the sides of the large hall, their bows ready if the prisoner were to try anything..
Emperor Zhutai welcomes the general and offers him wine, and then proceeds to let him speak, also wanting his papers.. A hidden motive though behind this, his eyes roaming over to the Han captive frequently..
The Hall was shut off from all, five hundred yards from the now closed gates and higher up than all...

((Not going to overly post for Lu Kai Li...))
The Wako officer merely stood as he was commanded, awaiting his release from Zhao. He cared about Yukimura, but not enough to risk his own life, when he knew the man was bound for death...

((Not going to overly post for Lu Kai Li...)) The Wako officer merely stood as he was commanded, awaiting his release from Zhao. He cared about Yukimura, but not enough to risk his own life, when he knew the man was bound for death...(You lie!) Lu bowed before the Zhao emperor. "Wan sui, Emperor. I am Lu Kai Li, newly appointed prefect of Xiang Ping. I am responsible for these two; you see, I promised them safe passage to the Han territories in exchange for the city of Shang Dang. With your permission, I would like to continue my journey. I do not have any official documents yet, for I was appointed to my position just before leaving for Shang Dang, and have not had the time to recieve my appointment formally."

The apprehension in the room disappears, and the Emperor stands up from his throne, his armour shuffling and his cape following his every graceful move as he walks up to the diplomat, snaking around the large round table. He bows to the man, a ginger smile upon his face.
"I humbly ask you that you leave, yet leave within this prisoner. He is free to go, and as you are. I'm sure the north needs your power. With Shimazu dead.. One must rise up, I suggest you be the man to do this, as I will support you. You seem fierce, fiercer than myself, something one looks up to with a smile. I will send troops to catch the Han remnants, control your officers."
After this the diplomat is allowed to leave.
