Wei Yan sat atop the old throne of Yuan Shu. With a smile he looked to his left at Ran Vu and nodded. Ran Vu left the room and moved to atop the Palace to watch for anyone approaching or signs from the Gates.

A messenger in all white made his way into Xiang Yang palace closely followed by Huang Shu, a representative of Haung Zhong. With a smile Wei Yan himself met the two mid way and dismissed the messenger. Looking the man over he smiled and extended his hands in a welcome.
"Ah. Lord Huang Shu, I've just got word of your arrival. I hope the meetings went over well? Baron Xilang has decided Huang Zhong will be very valuable and has begun reading for his leave to meet General Huang Zhong at Ling Ling. You may accompany my officer, Ran Vu, there if you like. He is leaving now."
Yan said before nodding once more and walking back into the throne room. The messenger returned shortly to lead Huang Shu out and too meet Officer Ran Vu at the stables.
The two arrived to a mounted Ran Vu and Huang Shu and himself left to race back to Ling Ling as to catch Lord Shang Xilang early.

Wei Yan smiled as the messenger left and he looked back to the Baron.
"Lord Xilang, I thought you had already left to go to Ling Ling as we spoke. The man you saw before you represented General Huang Zhong, then one we spoke of. Ran Vu will be accompanying you to Ling Ling. Him and Huang Shu have already left."

The two were led into the palace by a neutral dressed messenger. The messenger led them into the palace halls. Ran Vu stopped before the throne room door looking at Huang Zhong.
"Welcome friend. This is where your destiny shall be made in Si. Are you ready?"
Vu asked his hand ready to open the door.

Wei Yan sat on the throne as the Ran Vu opened the door allowing himself and the old general in. Spearmen lined the path to the throne, like in any rulers court. Ran Vu shut the door behind himself for he ws the last to enter and stood infront of it, his battle axe in hand. None would disturb Lord Wei Yan as he spoke to this Respectable man.
"General Huang Zhong. Baron Xilang will be with us shortly. Till that time. I must entertain you in his stead. Now, as agreed you will still be prefect of Ling Ling."
Yan's words ceased as a wicked smirked appeared across his face. The spearmen took the sign and stepped back, each putting a spear to a differnt part of the old man's body, not piercing him, just stopping all movement.
"Ran Vu. You have done well."
Yan commened Vu and Vu just nodded with a smile. Yan turned his attention back to the old general with a smile.
"General Zhong. I have prepared a parchment for you. Write on it as you are told, and your life shall be spared and possibly allowed your wishes. Deny to write on it, and you will still live. Your home will just be razed. Your adopted son Burnt alive before you very eyes, and finally each of your men in your army scalped by your own blade. In the end, you'll be left in a cell to rot until death. Now do we have an agreement?"
Yan spoke with a serious tone, the smirk gone, for this man deserved the respect of any great warrior even if he was faced with this.

Huang Zhong stared at him without fear. He knew this would happen either way or not, but he just wished his son didnt have to die...
"I am not afraid of death, i came here in hopes of joining Si, and if writting on this parchment means saving my childs life, and joining Si...then tell me what you want, as I,HUANG ZHONG AT 78 YEARS OLD WILL NEVER BOW DOWN TO DEATH IF THAT IS WHAT YOU EXPECTED!"
Huang Zhong bellowed!

Wei Yan smiled in respect and himself moved from his seat and to the general. He was honored by the generals fearless behavior and for that, had to bow deeply. Down on bended knee Yan handed Huang Zhong the parchment. Risingback to his feet Yan spoke.
"On this parchment you are to sign over all of your army and your officers to Si. Grand General, you are worthy of the heavens, and when you arrive there however you do. I hope you are praised for your strength over all these years."
Even Ran Vu had to bow down , everyone did except the spearmen.

(does this mean that died cuz the spearmen bowed?)
"Hmm...you ask a hard bargain...rhh...You may have everything i have and own, even my life, just do not take the life of my son and daughter. And know this..im not stupid i know that you will probably kill me and then get the troops for free without any of them going away. But i cant do anythin with these troops against Zhao that is why i give them!"
Huang Zhong bowed too to the general.

Yan tooked the signed parchment and handed it to his messenger. The messenger left with Ran Vu to collect what they had been given and give word to Zhong's Children. Yan moved back from the spears and waved his hand. Yan was never one to cry, but a single tear trickled from below his mask.
Every spearmen plunged a blade into the old general, his life taken quickly for he deserved no torture. Bowing once again to the fallen general Yan spoke softly.
"Have his body prepared men. He'll be given the funeral of a general. Send word to Baron Xilang in Jian Ye. Tell him the old have fallen for the new to rise. Goodbye Grand Lord Of War.."
Yan spoke heavily as another messenger left as he had been instructed to do.

Tear rolled down his cheek right before the spearmen did their job...he only wished he could have said good bye to his only family. In his one last fleeting moment he saw himself in his prime, sitting atopa golden horse holding a sword wearing golden armour...ahh the good 'ol days...Then he felt a jolt of pain, and collapsed onto the ground. For some reason he was still alive but felt no pain, he looked up and saw the Heavens, he saw the men he killed, Confuscious, and the Emperoros of the old. He coughed some blood and died.
Huang Zhong:
78 years old Cheng General of the Flying Chariots Minister of War Prefect of Lingling (Thnx for adding the additional ranks)
