Ma Teng was basking in his new leadership, a glass of wine firmly in his right handed grasp, he looked relaxed and listened to this new visiter to his lands. However one thing concerned him, he couldn't seem to concentrate too much, he was used to the custom of a trade of names before talking business and so he had to but in as soon as she had stopped speaking. He slowly leaned forward and took a sip of his wine, and then placing it down on the arm of the chair.
"I'm sorry, I must not have caught your name?" He then decides it is not time to be petty with formalities, and quickly changes to a subject he knew much about. Cheng obviously wanted an alliance, it was written all over the envoys face, but Qiang was not currently aiming for territory in China, not yet anyway. "Tell lord Yuan Shu, that we may be friends, however he should not expect military aid until Qiang's internal... what should I say... set backs. Inform your honorable lord that if he so wishes a simple escape from the chaos of China, that he is more than welcome to take a vacation over here, on me of course."
Ma Teng waits to see if this woman envoy has more to say on this matter, or if Teng's reply was suffiecent enough for her.

Han Sui entered the room, he was a stocky man, capable of much skill on the battlefield, he was also a very useful minister in times of peace, and so Ma Teng held him high when he spoke to the man. Ma Teng slowly lifted his head to make eye contact with his fellow man and carried on to give a reply. "It is a pleasure to meet you once again Lord Han Sui, I would be honored to have you enter my forces, consider yourself officially a Qiang officer."
Ma Teng went back to business, also waiting to see if the man had more to say.
[[Busy talking on msn so sorry for the length. Btw Han Sui add me on msn if you want.]]

Ma Teng laughed along with his old time friend, he enjoyed the atmosphere of having to care little to anything else. He listened to Han Sui's words of strength, and nodded to them, laughing once more slightly to himself before speaking. "Though I am confident little can get passed both my guards and my own sword, your words speak of both truth and loyaly, which I welcome. Now then get yourself settled in Qiang, go to the war camp get yourself a rank, and prepare for anything which may happen, I look forward to seeing your skills put to good use Sui."

Back over in China, Xu Ping was at the docks. Facing North, was Japan. A lot of pain had been inflicted on him in recent years. Just a couple of days ago, he had to leave all his friends and family behind as he traveled on his way to Japan. Luckily, he had a horse, which sped up the process of getting from Tian Shui to near Japan. Xu decided to go buy a small passage on a boat that was heading over to Japan to give supplies. His hands dived straight into his pockets. After feeling about for a few seconds the truth dawned on him. He had no gold left. He'd spent it on weapons back at Tian Shui.
Xu Ping was devastated. Looks like he's have to go join a kingdom in Japan, which he didn't want to do.
[yellow]" Hey, you there. Yes, you. Come over here. I see you want to go to Japan, right? Well, I'm heading that way. I can give you a lift if you so wish..."[/yellow]
[blue]" I would gladly accept, but my men are waiting for me just down the road. All 500."[/blue]
" Ah, a military man, eh? 500 doesn't matter. I have lots of boats that are floating in a little cove over there, and I wouldn't mind if you used them."
" Really, you wouldn't mind at all?", Ping's eyes lit up. " Of course not, it would be a honour to assist." The old man gave a little bow and walked off towards his boat.
[green] A few hours later, Xu and his men were stood on the beach of North Honshu, the capital of the Kingdom of Wo, Ma Teng's forces, whom he wanted to join badly. He got his men into a quick march, and walked around the forests, trying to find the famed city. Finding it a couple of hours later, Xu was really relieved. He told his men to sit down and rest. They had carried heavy spears around nearly all day, to be fair.[/green]
" Men, stay here while I go talk to Ma Teng. If i'm not back in Half an hour, go talk to the gate guards."
Riding up to the gates, he had his hands on his sword, in case they wondered who he was and attacked. It was not to be. Instead, they inspected him, and said he could go through, which was a load of Xu's mind. Bowing to the guards, Xu steers his horse through the gate and into the city expertly. Finding the palace with ease, he strokes his beard. Is this finally it? Would he join an official kingdom today?
Finding a patch of grass, he ties his horse to a nearby tree. It soon settles down, and sits, chewing happily at the grass. Leaving it to eat, Ping climbs the nearby palace steps, taking them two at a time. Arriving at the top, he straightens his helmet, ajusting it to a comfortable position. Taking the deepest breath he had taken in his life, he steps through the main dorr.
A sense of royalty and fame comes straight to him, and it brings a smile to his face. The walls were lined with the finest silk, forcing Xu to feel it. Feeling the throne room drawing him in, he walks, as if in a trance, straight to it, without taking in any of the palace's beauty. He stroles through a large room, then a significantly smaller one, which seems to be the mighty throne room. Seeing Ma Teng in a secret conversation with his officials, he walks in, coughs to make his precense known, and bows down on one knee.
[red]" Lord Ma Teng, my name is Xu Ping. I come from Tian Shui, and I would like to join you. I suppose you would like to know the reason why I didn't join a kingdom in China. The truth is, I'm sick of China. It's given me so much pain through my years. So I'm here to join the kingdom of Wo. I hope I will be of much help to you in the future."[/red]

Ma Teng sits up at the voice of a newcomer, Teng had been busy lazily indulging in a day dream, be it the boring nature of today's business. He listened to the China-man, and instantly saw a man of much potentially and quickly once he had finished, decided to reply with post haste. "I see you as a fair and noble officer, and for that you may be granted access. For now you shall stay in the capital, and seek to increase our facilities. Our gate is nearly at full strength, so be sure to fix that up to it's maximum, I expect to see great things from you." He then stopped and leaned back waiting for any reply from the man, if any. [[once again nothing fancy ]]

" I shall head to the gate straight away, my lord. I thank you for accepting my offer, and you won't regret it neither. I wish you luck in your new job as kingdom ruler. I take my leave now."
Walking back through the room, he awits until he's out of sight around the corner, and splits a huge smile. Feeling really happy now, he gives the air a punch and goes to tell his men that they have a new ruler.

Ma Teng looked at the new visitor and nodded his head in acceptance, it seemed Wo was already far superior in officer power than Sansu, and soon in troop numbers. "I usually like to know more about the people I am listening to first, but on this occasion I can tell from a glance that you are of good quality, I shall accept you into the Wo ranks welcome. I shall give you a chance to prove your worth, go to Ezo and back up our forces who are currently the Sansu camp there. We shall soon be the dominant force in Japan under our Queen's leadership." He nodded his head once more signalling he was finished and waited to see what the officer would want after, or if he would simply leave.
