Officer Salary
Every week on a Saturday you will get pay. You must go to the Bank and state that you are collecting 250 Gold + your charm. If your charm is 50 for instance, you would state that you are collecting 300 gold. If you belong to a kingdom, a prefect or ruler can also give you money, though that prefect or ruler must do so in the loans and gifts thread. If you belong to a kingdom, you will also receive a bonus 150 gold every payday.
Prefect and Ruler Salary
Every city in this game must have a ruler, a governor of sorts to lead that cities. In Chronicles of Destiny, the ruler of a kingdom must decide who to appoint over his/her territories aside from his/her capital (if he/she has any other territories). The ruler can make himself be the governor of a territory or give one of his officers the position of prefect. He/She can also give a trusted vassal more than one prefecture if he/she desires to do so. The prefect of any given territory, in any case, whether the prefect is a king or a subordinate of a king, collects a certain income from the territory he/she governs, which he/she must distribute between his/her officers. This income can be calculated in the following way-
Income from Barracks: Barracks produce troops every week on Saturday. Barracks start at a point value of 0/5000, though this value can be increased easily by people. Every person can increase the point value of a barracks facility every 12 hours by working in them (but after you work in them you cannot work in any other facility for 12 hours). Working in the barracks will raise the point value by whatever your leadership is, so if you have 80 leadership, the point value will go up by 80 for instance. Whatever the point value is at the end on Saturday gives you the amount of troops you can collect. So for example if people raise the point value of a barracks facility under somebody's control to 1,200k, then the governor who controls the city containing the barracks will gain 1,200 militia.
Income from Markets: Markets produce gold every week on Saturday. Markets start at a point value of 0/5000, though this value can be increased easily by people. Every person can increase the point value of a market facility every 12 hours by working in one (but after you work in them you cannot work in any other facility for 12 hours). Working in the market will raise the point value by whatever your charm is, so if you have 80 charm, the point value will go up by 80 for instance. Whatever the point value is at the end on Saturday gives you the amount of gold you can collect. So for example if people raise the point value of a market facility under somebody's control to 1,200, then the governor who controls the city containing the market will gain 1,200 gold.
Income from Factories: Factories are the most complicated facilities in the game, though basically they produce troop items every week on Saturday. Factories start at a point value of 0/5000, though this value can be increased easily by people. Every person can increase the point value of a factory facility every 12 hours by working in one (but after you work in them you cannot work in any other facility for 12 hours). Working in the factory will raise the point value by whatever your intelligence is, so if you have 80 intelligence, the point value will go up by 80 for instance. Unlike other facilities though, you determine how many items you get from the factory differently. Here is how you determine it:
If your factory level is at 0-500 you will receive only 100 tier 1 troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is anywhere from 500-1000 you will receive only 200 tier 1 troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is at 1000-1500 you will receive only 350 tier 2 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is at 1500-2000 you will receive only 400 tier 2 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is at 2000-2500 you will receive only 650 tier 3 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is at 2500-3000 you will receive only 1,100 tier 3 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is at 3000-3500 you will receive only 1,300 tier 3 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is at 3500-4000 you will receive only 1,600 tier 3 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is at 4000-4500 you will receive only 1,900 tier 4 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is at 4,500-5,000 you will receive only 2,200 tier 4 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is at 5,000-5,500 you will receive only 2,500 tier 4 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is at 5,500-6,000 you will receive only 2,800 tier 4 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is at 6,500-7,000 you will receive only 3,100 tier 4 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is at 7,000-7,500 you will receive only 3,400 tier 4 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is at 7,500-8,000 you will receive only 3,600 tier 4 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is at 8,000-8,500 you will receive only 3,700 tier 4 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is at 8,500-9,000 you will receive only 3,800 tier 4 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is at 9,000-9,500 you will receive only 3,900 tier 4 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is at 9,500-10,000 you will receive only 4,000 tier 4 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week.
If your factory level is maxed you will receive 4,200 tier 4 (or lower) troop items of your choice per week and 2 tier 1 siege engines of your choice.
In addition to the income factories provide, the factory at your capital is particularly important, because when it reaches certain increments, all the officers in your kingdom will be able to purchase higher tier items and troops from the troop market. When it reaches 1,000, every officer in your kingdom will be able to purchase tier 2 troop items and troops, when it reaches 2,000 every officer in your kingdom will be able to purchase tier 3 troop items and troops and when it reaches 4,000 every officer in your kingdom will be able to purchase tier 4 troop items.
Note: If collecting income is too hard for you and you're a prefect or ruler then I, SlickSlicer/Lyle (Emperor Huan) will gladly help you out, and the other staff members probably will be able to assist you too. You can also ask questions about the system in the questions topic of the Public Council if you wish.
