Battering Rams: 2 for 250 gold
-Battering Rams are the basis of Siege Equipment, their heavy and it takes 10 men to carry them. but they are good for smashing down doors, a few powerful bashes of this machine and any cities gate would crumble.
Towers: 2 for 500 gold
- Towers are essential ways to stop archers or other siege weapons, but they can also be used to easily take out sentries on walls. Towers are the heaviest unit, as they're so tall that it takes roughly 8 people to push them. They are, however, built on wheels. Siege Towers are a protective way for archers to climb aboard and fire at the castles defences and they also offer good defenses, since they are reinforced with iron, thus making them more resistent against fire attacks or anything of that sort. On each level of the towers, men can position themselves, take up logs within the tower and ram a certain area of a building at multiple places, thus severely weakening that area's defenses.
Catapults: 2 for 300 gold
- Catapults are the most used and generally most effective type of siege equipment. Once built and loaded, a catapult can be fired into nearby rooms, hitting up to eight targets in that room for massive damage. Because of the multiple targets hit, catapults can be extremely helpful in wiping out or at least driving back enemy intruders. They can be commandeered by 10 men, but are stronger when a bunch of engineers handle them.
Ladders: 100 for 10 gold
- A basic tool, these large ladders are crafted to go against castle walls, there units may climb and breach the castle, ladders are only of some use to weaker castle walls, and to walls that are not guarded by enemy soldiers. They are not the most effective siege weapons in any case and because of this they are cheap to buy.
Arbalests: 2 for 450 gold
- The legendary Arbalest, these are wooden machines, that have a 6 volt outtake, so they surpass even that of the Catapult, which can only fire up to 3 or 4 boulders, depending on the sizes of them. Arbalests can only fire at the same time, as the rope that connects each volt are part of the same trigger, remember, these fire straight, if these are positioned wrongly, they'll fire into mid air and miss their target, arbalests if used correctly, can take out any unit, be it cavalry, swordsmen or spearmen. 10 men may operate them.
Ballistas: 2 for 450 gold
- Ballistas are a different form of siege equipment than catapults. The big difference is, while catapults hit multiple targets, ballistas can only hit one. The ballista, however, inflicts much greater damage, and they are also more versatile. Many exits that a catapult cannot fire though, a ballista can. Any object that a gnoll's arrow can fly through, a ballista bolt can also fly through. Ballistae can, when fired at enemy infantry, pierce several enemy soldiers if they are in rows, they are therefore an effective all round siege weapon. 10 men may operate them.
Incendiary Fireworks: 1 for 500 gold
- Gunpowder was not around until the 9th century AD, but Black Powder was around before that, and could be used to make fireworks. At the Battle of Chen Kuang, Hao Zhao was said to have used fireworks to burn Zhuge Liang's scaling ladders, and with other inventions, Hao Zhao held off Zhuge Liang's large army with only 5,000 soldiers. In this game, fireworks are installed on one large rolling cart, but are very slow. They are best used in defensive battles to start a fire in the enemy ranks, but are also powerful weapons when used against wooden inventions. Against towers, they are stronger than other weapons. They take 10 men to use them, but are more effective when a bunch of engineers handle them, and also less dangerous!
