Shibo arrives before Emperor Zhutai, fifty paces away. A man has come with him, nearly 70 paces away.
"My Emperor, I have found this man scouting our lands and living off of them with his men. They wish to join you in your cause to unite the land in a new age."

He is ordered in by a messenger, and the walls are immediately manned with crossbowmen and the like. It seems as though they are preparing for battle, though nothing is here.. The catapult appears in the castle and the smell of oiled hay soon arises. The ground is still wet from the past rain, though, so it may be difficult. The Zhao emperor had closed off the area, and ordered any troops other than Sun Jian's to be killed immediately... Soon before Jians' troops appear 300 of the most elite of elite. They wait here. Jian is taken to the main hall. He went past 40 Imperial Rangers, who are defending encase of a security breach. 20 remain in the hall, so to provide support. The doors are closed, security is very tight.. It seems a coupe may be forming in Zhao.. (you jackasses! Your all gonna die!) "Jian, I have men outside to follow your command, and the power to lead a entire new generation in Zhao.. What say you?"

*Sun Jian enters the hall, with his sword on his side. His helmet he left by his horse, and a small dagger is at Jian's side. He bows low to the Emperor upon entering, and bows once more upon his words.*
Sun Jian: I will follow you to death lord Emperor. I shall do as you command.

"To death, you say? You will follow my order to death.. Then so be it. What comes around... comes around Jian.."
As the Emperor said around, eight crossbow bolts shot out into the air, piercing the very awkward silence as they went strait to Jian's legs, right above his knee and his thighs. four from each side, they had to hit, as they were fired by the most elite of elite warriors, imperial guards. Ten men approached Jian, swords drawn and grabbed him, putting a mysterious cloak over his face and holding him securely. Even if he screamed like the dog he was, his men were nearly a whole li away, and they were in a secluded room, far from all else. Zhutai looked away, then turned back and chuckled slightly.
Outside, Shibo was upon his horse, the most elite of elite troops behind him, their composite bows armed and ready for "attackers." The smell of oil was so strong here, yet no one seemed to question it, as though really it was from siege equipment.. But not so, there was no rain earlier either. The ground was not wet with water, but oil. Enough oil to burn erratically. The nintey crossbowmen upon the walls ducked down slightly and appeared again, their arrows tipped with piping coals. They fired immediately, aiming for the ground as their 90 flamed bolts shot toward the ground and the whole scene erupted in fire before the castle walls. They traitorsous horsemen were quickly surrounded by thick lines of fire, though it would soon burn out. Hay had been placed in the distance, so to further hold them. This of course had been masked it the thought of supplies or crops. The Elite Horsemen had sent 300 rounds from their composite bows as soon as the crossbowmen had fired, Shibo giving the orders to do so. The air before them turned dark as the first group fired, and then the second and then the third.. Yet the first had already reloaded, and was firing again, again and again into the now enemy lines. There was no hope for the troops, if they escaped then so be it, but they lacked a commander, were surrounded by fire and were being fired at from both their front and above by some 390 troops. They had no true escape..
Inside, Jian was quickly wrapped up in rope and placed on the table in the main hall, before the Emperor. He had manged to take down two Imperial Rangers, yet eventually he fell to their prowess and numbers. His legs were hanging off the table, tied together and a ranger was sharpening his blade beside him. He was tied three times to the table, even his neck was tied down..

*Sun Jian lied there, he knew he was about to die. With no argument, he lied there, silent making no noise, prepared to take his death like a man and as honoribly as possible.*

His legs (under the knees) are immediately cut off, and then his fingers. A man with a hot sheet of metal is right next to the swordsman, and sears the wounds that Sun Jian is give. His tonge comes next, and then his ears. He is placed upon a bed and tied to it.
Outisde, his men continue to die.. until they are all gone.
Emperor Zhutai makes his way with his captive and all of his armies to the Wan Chang border.

Lu Bu was on the outskirts of Ping Yuan, awaiting reports from Zhao Ping.Lu Bu looked to his captains and awaited reports from Chang An.A messanger from the emperor himself told Lu that he was to move immediatly with his oath,Sun Yuan Ci,but Fengxian was not going to move with only half of his men.He patiently waited for the arrival of his student.
Zhao Ping's flags could be seen in the distance, all of Lu's cavalry has returned, and their moral has risen since wipping out the raiders from the Han.Zhao was laughing about how cowardly the tactics of the merchants army used.Zhao Ping lowered his head to his master and told Fengxian about what has happened there that night, all about the ronin army and all.Lu Bu looked to the heavens and smiled. At this time period there was a commotion in the palace.Lu Bu sent a soldier in to see what was happening.
About a few moments later, the soldier returned and told Fengxian about what has happened with Lord Sun Jian, who was a treacherous spy of Cheng.Fengxian thought about the pact Cheng made with Zhao, this could not be tolerated.Du Jung though carried out the deed already and killed the ungrateful scum. With this Lu Bu rose up his arm and was now moving towards Chang An.

Post by Lu Shen on Sept 2, 2006 21:37:56 GMT -5
Looking around there didn't seem to be too many people occupying what appeared to a castle. Guards were few and any ruler seemed unavailable. So, what do you do in a mostly vacant castle? Run around naked! Well, not really, but it certainly went though Lu Shen's mind since he's nearing the edge between psycho and fun. There certainly has been thoughts pulsing through someone's mind at one time or another. "How badass would it would if I strip naked and defile a castle by swing my privates around as I run?" Still, those are probably on the grounds of getting executed. If not then the amputation of an important male part, which is probably close enough to death anyway.
Now the castle wasn't entirely vacant as stated before. Important people lurked about...like that maid. Oh, and there are two guards in front of a treasure vault. Perhaps a new game that Lu Shen had quickly invented. It's kinda like "I Spy" except it's "Where the hell is everyone?" Rules of the game are simple: point out every living thing and then scream at the top of your lungs the name of the game. The winner gets random stares or people running around from them.
The castle, aside from the vacantness, was obviously lavish in items that would fit a capital of some faction. Also, the work staff - the maids and servants - were on the more attractive end, for the most part. Servants were usually old, which was expected - unless the leader of Zhao was a homosexual. But that was probably unlikely. Emphasis on probably.
In all seriousness.
Lu Shen slowly walked through the gates of the castle after being eyed by the guards who checked each individual who approached. His eyes wandered the vast premises, from the gardens that were by far the greenest he had ever seen to the fountains that flowed the clearest and cleanest water in apparent existent. Lavish to an extent, but Lu Shen just assumed all "great" leaders had extravagent items to show off power - or to hide the fact they had a small penis. Lu Shen had a chuckle at the last part, since it was his grandmother who told him that joke when he was younger.
As he pressed through into another gate he found himself in a large hallway with paintings, scrolls and the like that were pleasing to the eye, and expected of the capital of an important Chinese faction. His face had an expression of awe, as his mouth had hit the floor in amazement. Never had he seen such random spending of money rather than promoting the people like many other factions pushed so strongly in their propaganda. Spinning around in order to take in the luxuries, he found himself the an empty throneroom that was quite the eyecatcher.
Although the room was lavish and showed off what seemed to be the pride of Zhao, the obvious vacancy of the throne through Lu Shen off. No servant nor guard was in the room, and pressed question of whether or not they actually had concern of thieves robbing the palace. Either way, Lu Shen found a chair in a corner and promptly sat down to relieve his tired legs (which had gone through a lot of walking and running throughout his "journey."
Still, with no one there, he felt that boredom with quickly fall upon him and create an atmosphere of darkness which would lull him to sleep.
"WHERE THE FUCK IS EVERYBODY!!"
Lu Shen saw maids and servants earlier on, wandering the castle through the hallways and corridors. He saw the guards outside the gates, yet with no one in the throneroom it made him feel a bit...unwanted. Though, he was an unexpected guess, and unknown to him was the battle in another city, but nevertheless his boredom was top priority and had to be cured. With that, a maid, a cute one at that, wandered in the throneroom wondering what the loud noise was. Lu Shen, who is one of those men who likes to flirt, took the opportunity to lure her over to him.
"Um. Hello miss. I'm waiting for the lord of...uh...Zhao. And it seems he's unavailable. Would you be so kind as to entertain me for a while until he returns from his business?"
[Maid] "Entertain?"
"Nothing serious. I'm fond of dancing. Can you dance for me?"
Lu Shen smirked, but the maid quickly shook her head no. Disappointed, Lu Shen changed his sitting position which left his lap open. His smirk, which had become a frown, once again became a smirk. However, the maid seemed to anticipate this and promptly shook her head no before Lu Shen said anything. With a sigh, Lu Shen changed his sitting position once again, while giving the maid a confused look.
"Why'd you shake your head? I never said anything; I only wanted you to come over so we could have quiet conversation, while I waited for the Lord or whoever that is willing to see me."
The maid, still uneasy, slowly approached Lu Shen. Small talk had ensued, but Lu Shen, who was a little more charismatic than anticipated, made the maid a bit more comfortable. Small talk became hefty conversation with laughing, smiling and everything inbetween.
(I still need to join Zhao...sometime. Oh, right, I still have to do my character bio-thing too.)
