Pang De looks around as his brothers in arms are riding toward the battle this is the moment that he likes most
Cheng will Fall this day this I swear!
The air is calm all that can be heard is the marching of troops and the beating of horse hoofs as they march toward the battle. The smell of Cheng Blood is in the air and how sweet it does smell to Pang De
He looks over at Bekillin and says Charge My brother Go and Bring Honor To the Knights if you can Bring me the Head of the enemy Commander

Sima Mao could be seen riding beside Sun Jiang, as the man was leading him to the Emperor. His heart was still heavy, as many of the generals of Cheng wanted revenge against Si and Wei Yan. And while Sima Mao understood this, he knew they were not strong enough, they did not have the man power or the money, Yuan Shu had the largest army, and now it was gone. Three officers could not hope to defeat a mighty nation. Finally he came upon the camp, it seemed better than it looked.
"I wish to speak with the Emperor."

He is allowed in, where sixty Imperial Rangers surround Du Jung who sits upon a mock throne, over looking his officials who report the days matters. Yuan Shu had just been confirmed dead, and Zhutai was laughing, victorey upon his face for all to see. He looked upon Sima Mao, knowing the man from Sui, and still admiring his power, even though he hid it through his emotions..
"..I have been tested, and I have succeded. You are being tested now, to see what you can do, and how you carry it out with the remanants of Cheng upon your shoulders... I knew you from Sui, and the days of Han Zhong.. I respect you for staying in China, and not giving up on your goal.. However, I am just muttering, what is it that you have to see me for?"

*Kong Suo led his victorious troops back from the battlefield, the remainder of his cavalry forces joining him shortly after the death of the traitor Yuan Shu. The battle had been a terrible bloodbath, and of all the allied forces, Suo's Breakers had taken the worst of it, losing every soldier and apparently every mount, although this could not be confirmed just yet. Worse yet was the loss of Suo's trusted lieutenant, Shi Fei. His body had been recovered not more than half an hour ago, and Suo had ordered his burial with honors to take place before the march back to Chang An. He had been instrumental in turning back the Cheng hordes, however, and had died a hero. Whatever else was said, he would always be a hero. Suo headed toward the main tent, where he would file his report with the Emperor before leaving.*
Emperor, with the battle concluded, I request permission to return to Chang An to continue with our grand strategy. I will be leaving behind a small contingent of men to gather my share of the war spoils, but I feel I am needed back in the city, since it was so recently conquered. With your permission, my lord, I will take my leave now.

Zhutai his happy to see his vassal, the man who picked up his kingdom and took it to the heavens, finishing the job that he and his sworn brothers had started. Nothing could be grander to have Suo in your ranks, surely. He was unmatched, and took on the buff of an entire force without the need of the elephant Charge. Yet he'd lost so much men..
"Kong, you did great, it is unfortunate that in battle our comrades will always die.. You have lost the most, I have been informed. Take some of my cavalry division and use them well in battle. Ba Shu shall be yours, the only thing between us and unification. Go, my friend."
(Kong Suo is allowed to borrow: 100 Assault Horsemen [Marines] (Crossbows) 275 Grim Reapers [Marines] (Glaives) 100 Black Horsemen [Marines] (Spears-Crossbows-Thatch Shields-Chain Mail-Horses) )

*Kong Suo bowed low.*
My lord, you do me great honor. I thank you for these men. I will use them well, and bring unification to this land of chaos. Farewell, my lord, until my task is done.
*Bowing again, Suo left the command tent, rounded up his men, including the new reinforcements, and headed for Chang An.*

Sima Mao bowed at the waist. He looked back up at Zhutai, in his hand was a piece of paper. A document of surrender. It held all legal rights to Cheng, it's military and political offices. He handed it to a boy, who brought it to Zhutai. He waited for the man to read it, before speak. He should no signs of fear on his face, nor did he have any inside, he was not a afraid to die.
"Lord Zhutai. I have come to offer the complete surrender of Cheng to Zhao. As you already know, my Lord has died, but he made a grave error in attacking you. Though from what he told me, he had a deal with the pirates of Wako, and it seems that alliance did not fall true. Yes, my lord made this discution without my guidence or help, but on his own. I beseech you to forgive the other officers of Cheng, but take your anger on our betrayel on me."
He paused for a moment, there was a little more to discuse. "Several of the Cheng officers will be unhappy with this turn around, and may take several steps to take certain cities of Cheng to either attack Si, or even to foolishly start their own. They don't truly understand when to act, and when not. As they would be vastly outnumbered by Si. Due to the fact that I know you, and believe our alliance should of held, I am surrendering the lands to you. Do as you wish."
He then bent low. One knee was place on the ground, the other was place against his chest. He planted his hands on the ground, and then extended his neck. Sima Mao was not afraid of death.

Zhutai took to the seriousness of the situation and approached the man, now only five feet from him. He held the rolled up paper within his hands the situation and mood telling him silently its contents. His voice was much quieter, the entire court looking at the moment, wondering if the Relentless, the Conqueror could show mercy, even to a most treacherous enemy..
"All are with Zhao, you will die of old age and nothing more, Sima Mao. Just like I will, and every other man in China, after it is finally united.. Honor comes from your words, your nobility crushed, yet your pride beaming, your intentions true, yet also not the ones you started with, so long ago.. I knew Jing would rip through Zhao, and I only allied with Cheng so to prevent the inevitable. I knew this was coming, I was prepared for it and was ready to kill Yuan Shu through assassins. I was prepared to even have your head, Mao. You are one of the grandest of Grand Generals. And for this, I hear by give you the rank of Imperial Protector, when this country is unified under the grand banner of Zhao, my, rather our lands and our people will look to you and my brother, Sun Yuan Ci. They will look to you from the farms, the cities and the villages. In times of need, a grand army is needed. You and Zhiyun will protect all of Zhao as the grand commanders of this Empire. May you live to prosper from now on, and seek out your goals without the fear of resentment from your lord.. However, if any traitors our found, I must tell you now they must be dealt with. I have announced that if you are not with us, you are against us, and I intend to up hold this all the way to my grave, where ever it may be."

Sima Mao stayed in his position not rising, as not given an order to. He was a military man, nothing more nothing less. But he did nod his head, a silent declaration that he understood. Still kneeling he spoke though, his voice calm, and yet hard.
"And if commited treason good sir, where could I possibly go? Si, I am hated there, and Wako? They know me not, you and I have fought beside each other before. I know we can do it again," He looked at Zhutai. "If you have no more use for me, honorable Lord, I will make my leave. Also know that Si has surrounded most of old Cheng, but only by one territory. The province of Jiaozhi can hold out for a while if need be though."

"..In these times, Si, Templar, Sansu, Wo and all others are Zhao.. The Han only remains now. If you are still with me, I will need you upon the front, to attack Ba Shu from the south. Good luck, whether you decide to follow me or not."
