Huang Zhong had just reached Yuan Shu. Seeing all the commotion he quickly reported to his lord for instructions and got into position. What would happen next...only the heavens would decide!

(We should pause and do casualties real quick first. Lyle and Erik should do them together, though.)

*Not far away from the camp are the Messengers with hoarse voices, Kaiser's little mercenaries. For days they've been wandering this god-forsaken land. He hated China almost as much as he hated his father, brother, and the rest of the bloody nobles who banned him out of their little kingdom. But he'd show 'em, he'd return with a big army and- oh sorry, got carried away there. Anyway me and my troops have been trudging through this China land, fighting for some small lords, no big gain. He needed some big fish, he needed more money, he needed a good employer. A reliable one. Kaiser learned of the fact that the largest kingdoms were Cheng and Zhao, so he'd go on and search for them.
480 swordsmen were behind him, 15 of his elite swordsmen were around him, 5 right, 5 back, 5 left. The other 5 were scouting ahead. Kaiser himself was on his almost red steed, the Devil Kid, riding proudly. In the distance he saw the 5 scouts returning, they seemed kind of in a rush. What the heck did they have to report? Maybe some action was ahead, his blood began to boiled again. Battle! He relished battle, the sound, the smell, the adrenaline rush. Ah, that is fun. Anyway, he nudged his horse forward approaching the scouts.*
''What's ahead men?''
One of them spoke, panting.''Battle... c-camp burning. Phew, that's all we could see, but it was obviously a battle. The burning camp is not far away, the battle is even closer...''
*Finally, combat, bloodbath, massacre, whatever you want to call it. The young general let out a laugh.*
''How far? We move out now. If we have any luck, there is going to be a job for us.''
"Two or three minutes from here lord."
''Alright! Men, gather up! There is some battle up ahead. How long has it been hmmmm?''He was always a good orator, his diction was perfect, his voice was clear, and loud.''I hope you're not tired, 'cause up ahead there is our fame and glory. We're brave and bold!''
''FOR FAME AND GOLD!''
*A bone shaking cry. For all his recklessness, Kaiser never lacked the charisma to lead. They rushed off forward, a burning camp, as said. Stopping, he took out his coin. Devil - he attacks on random, Angel - he makes his presence known, and waits for the highest bidder. It was more then obvious they were mercs. And there goes the flip, catching the coin, he smacked it at the upper side of his palm. Angel, they wait.*
''Ok, blow your horns, we wait for the highest bidder people!''
*501 horns were blown in the same time, making their presence known. Every soldier in this area would see them, and the generals would surely recognise their uniforms and banners as mercenary insignia. There was not many of them, but they were skilled, and now, any troops might be of assistance.*

Huang Zhong's face was grim. This was not looking good...at all. Slowly he was retreating but it would only be a matter of time before the Zhao generals would attack. Was he getting to old for this job? He was letting into fear. In his prime he would have never been like this, but now... At 73 years old (goes up an age every 50 posts) he was nearing the age that people retire or even die. But if this was gonna get nasty...he knew he wasnt gonna die, for he maybe old, but he was hardy!
Huang Zhong: WE ARE RETREATING, PACK YOUR STUFF BUT KEEP YOUR ARMOUR ON. A BATTLE MAY ENSUE. STAY ALERT, AND BE READY FOR ANYTHING. I, VETERAN HUANG ZHONG, SHALL LEAD YOU TO VICTORY."
Though a little shaken from what happened and was happening, the plains still rung with soldiers yelling death shouts.

Cuan turns to her Lord, Yuan Shu and pouts.
"Well...this sure is interesting eh?"
Her men are out there, mingled in the fighting, some frothing at the mouth or dripping blood as they've bitten through there lips in berserker rage. She turns and gazes at the burning camp.
"And pretty..kinda looks like a big ol' flower."
She turns back to Yuan Shu and grasps his forearm firmly.
"To the end, Master Shu."

(I'm not gonna wait for those casualties. Someone PM this thread to Slick. He'll get it done in no time!)
*Yuan Shu watched the battle keep on and reiforcements were coming. The petty ambush forces were soon going to be destroyed, along with that of that Jiao Chao. But what then? The real fight was yet to begin. And this terrain was new for all of Cheng. Yuan Shu didn't feel comfortable, until he saw some merc soldiers arrive on the field. As he tries to look better, they are still away from the place where a fight would start. Maybe those mercs could block the way... So the Cheng Army could form their true ranks and destroy the bear that came crolling out of his cave, after showing some honey outside. A simple trick, but very effective. Yuan Shu grins as he turns to Ching Chong.*
"Ching Chong, I want you to go to those mercs and tell them they will be greatly rewarded if they are going to fight the uncoming enemy. The 'defending' forces of Zhao. Hahaha!"
"It will be done, my lord."
*Ching Chong bows his head and then rides off to the newly arrived mercs. The road wasn't very long and they were going to be in a great position to succesfully keep the Zhao Forces at bay until the Cheng Army was at it's best. Those Zhao scumbags would learn to underestimae the Mighty Yuan Shu! Meanwhile, orders were send to all Cheng officers out in the field. They were to come and unite them with the main army at 4. (whatever it is...). From there, Zhao would meet with the mighty Cheng Wall of Justice! A moving wall, that would be. Suddenly, Hui Can grabs her lord's arm and Yuan Shu looks at her. And while smiling, he strokes her over her head.*
"Fear not my love. This was all planned. And soon, our mighty Cheng banners will be triumphantly placed in this pass. We will walk over te bodies of dead Zhao soldiers, right into Wan Cheng. And from there, it will be easy to cripple Zhao. But first, let us regroup at 4. ... , shall we?"
*He smiles at her and turns his steed, and along with his Cheng officers, he heads south, to their new destination.*
(I suppose Kong Suo's little ambush party is out of the way now? My entire army was attacking it... So if you need me, I'll be at square 4. . I think I'm gonna find out what 4. is called...)

*And so the retreat continues, boring. Nobody took heed of him yet. Figures, he has only 500 troops, not a very big force. But still, he was sure they would hire him. They as if in anyone. Yawning he returned his gaze to the field of battle, scanning it for any bidders. And there he saw their main army, and then an envoy that was on the way towards him. Grinning, he turned to his troops, sheathing his sword. They found themselves an employer.*
''Hey boys, we got ourselves a buyer, finally...''
*Riding towards the envoy he thought over the contract. A longer contract, a blood contract. He wondered if the big shots here did blood contracts. Mentally shrugging, he stopped in front of them. A lone officer. Judging from the uniform (and the info he gained at the inns) he was from Cheng, a strong empire led by Yuan Shu. They were fighting Zhao, and equally strong kingdom. Looking relaxed he blew the locks of hair away from his face, his hazel eyes shining mischievously. Eying the envoy he spoke.*
''I doubt you're here to discuss the political situation of China. Let's talk business. You want me and my men, right? Ok, settled, you have my, and the swords of my men, for now. ''
*Not giving the envoy a chance to say anything he continued to talk. He would do this quickly, hire himself, and then ask for rewards.*
''I see you're retreating. Ok, I'll retreat with you, then talk to your head-honcho, 'cause If you want me to stop your pursuers, no way. Deal? Ok.''
*With that he rode forward, signaling his men to follow him, riding and leading his men to 4. The place the Cheng army was retreating.*

Ugh, 520 breaker cavarly? Your kidding me, right? Sorry, I've got to go against that as that is in no fucking way possible. Their equipment prevents most of that shit, and erik only has 1000 composite bows to attack a force that is relatively close to him and moving very fast, with war horses. His crossbowmen can't hit them, as they shoot strait.. I suggest you re work that.
Again, sorry but I'm only saying this because I want this fair.
