If we drop back to 0 with max of 5000 it will be pefectly balanced. However, axing the barracks makes the leadership skill obsolete, and would most likely force more rule changes, or at least stat changes. My reason for voting option 1.

I see no point in either of them. Someone care to explain?

There was a discuassion about how unrealistic having 10000 militia a week would become, so we got to talking about either nerfing the barracks or getting rid of it and making the Market and Factory the only sources of troop income.

So I suppose we go back to barracks max = 5000 and the beginning level 0?

And how did we come back to this? Again, it's how much work you do = how much you get. That's how the rules are set up now, and that's how they've been. :/

So why not just scrap the barracks and draft soldiers according to your leadership skill once a day? Because that seems to essentially be what it is now, by that explanation. There's no need to have numbers if they don't affect anything, and having a barracks start out at 2000, but only get 150 because of your work done for the week sure seems like the 2000 didn't affect anything.

It's my understanding that you're the only one who thinks so, which confuses me.
Also, I figured if everyone else wanted to do it a different way, why not? The game exists for the players, after all.
....oh, yes, and just confirming that all facilities get +200 for successful conquering. That was a rule, correct?

Oh jesus christ, I'm going to look through the bank thread tonight and finally prove that the majority of the site went that way.
Hell, I'm going to ask slick.
