Aspharr welcomes the new Temple Knight, who was a previous Temple Knight...
The Bull.... You will indeed make an impressive addition to our force. Come, we go to battle. The Cheng buffoons of this land shall fall indeed!
Grabbing his pike, and getting to his horse, the Temple Knights and their forces began to gather. They fell into line, their lines huge, taking up from canyon wall to Zhao's formation, easily. The catapults and siege weapons were there, the militia unnacounted for in the main army, as they didn't matter. The Temple Knights conjoined force, Myifee's men in the center, Lu Kai Li's men, who was given control of the cavalry as well, position on the left flank, bordering Zhao's battle line.
Archers were suited up with their fire arrows, which, having been made for two previous sieges and never used, were still fresh for use. The catapults and ballistae, also getting their fire ammo ready, were prepared to launch into the enemy formations. The arbelests, however, were given a quick facelift.
Since they fired bolts, small amounts of pitch and soked rag were attached to their front. Enough so that the weight wouldn't be too much, and then an ingenious thing was added to the front of the arbelest. Synced with the firing of the bolts, a spark creating plates, like those used in the gloves of the archers, were placed across the opening. As soon as the bolts fired, these would scrape, causing sparks, and for the bolts to catch on fire. Not only did it give a demonic presence to the machines, it created a more powerful weapon.
The battle lines were drawn. And now, none could escape.

The Camp was finally 'finished', its size masive and its surroundings empty, hay placed randomly about the field around it, even on the sides. All was prepared, they were protected from enemy fire and ready for a good ol' siege. The nearly 200 crossbowmen took to the front and squated down, looking out their slits and preparing to take any knees of any kind out. Behind and around them there were some 100 assualt horsemen. Further behind them were the most powerful of powerful troops in this field. Imperial, marines and simple minded men together forming 500 of the most powerful cavarly. They each notched their bows with an oil soaked arrow that had a small coal on its end, just like their other comrades. In other parts of the large camps the other armies prepared to meet any enemy in the field. The grunts would most likely be first.
Lu Bu appears, a huge cavalry divison following behind them. They easily fill the camp slightly, still a third of space ready for any other armies. Lu Bu meets with Zhutai, Kong Suo behind him as his armies pile into the camp as well.
"Brother, I have come in protection of your lands. We will win this today, and finally destroy Cheng. They think they are grand, because they attacked us when they were allies and shot grief through our lands. When in truth this just an excuse to fight them and take all of Jing in doing so. Soon we will control have of China, and will will prosper forever with our allies in the North. Our oath will be completed when our cause has finally arrived on every village in China. Today is but another day, today is another Chang An.. Take this..Good luck."
Lu Bu is handed a slip of paper, Zhutai pats him on the back and then heads over to Kong Suo.
"We are unstoppable, once Zhiyun arrives there will be no hope for our foes. Take this, Shi Fei has given it to me. I suggest you aid, good luck."
Suo is given the paper that Shi Fei had sent back to the main camp and given to Zhutai. It details his mission plans. There is only one copy, and it is now with Kong Suo.
The cloaked objects are rustled around with, men going under them and preparing something..

*Elsewhere on the field, Shi Fei splits his men into two divisions: 200 Mounted Spearmen (see page 1 for details) stayed put where they were, warned by the flames from the south to be wary of anyone approaching from that direction. The rest of the men turned east, moving into position swiftly and as silently as possible.*
(sorry guys, too tired to do much more)

*Kong Suo took the letter from the Emperor and read through it quickly. Excellent, he thought to himself. A great shout will be the sign. Dropping the note in the fire of a brazier and watching the flames devour it totally, Suo addressed the Emperor once more.*
My Lord, I will need my elephants back for this battle. I will take up a position in the east and await the sign from Shi Fei.
*Bowing, Kong Suo backed away from the Emperor and left the tent, mounted his horse, and rode swiftly to where his infantry were preparing. Informing the captains of their orders, he left them to move into position and left to make certain the elephants were properly prepared for the coming battle. Seeing that they had been well taken care of, Suo informed them of their own orders, and rode at the head of the huge beasts, leading them to the southeast, and the slope below the camp. Within a few minutes, they would be in position, pikemen in the front, archers behind, and light swordsmen to either side. The elephants were split this time, 100 to each flank.*

Lu Bu nodded and opened the papaer given to him by his brother, the true emperor,Du Jung.Lu Bu arose and walked in the opposite direction of his brother, just looking and carefully reading the paper.Once he got a couple of feet away from his brother he looked up into the southern sky and could only think of how far Zhao has came.Right then,Lu Bu saw two falcons fight with one another over prey, one was black and the other was white. The black pecked the throat out of the white one and had the prey for his dinner.Lu Bu grinned and turned back to his officer and student,Zhao Ping, who was organizing the troops.
Lu Bu saw this as a sign,a sign from the heavens. This meant that Zhao was going to destroy Cheng this day,and the prey was Jing and all of Cheng's territories.Lu rode his horse to the fore front until he saw a young man enter and ask to join Zhao.Lu Bu saw this as a good sign, but it was short lived as the man ran away as if two-thousand soldiers were charging at him.Zhao rode up to his master, read the letter and looked at his lord.Lu Bu looked down upon the saddle, seemed to be in deep thought."Is this when the wars will end?Oh brothers,we shall we reunite"?Thought the mighty Lu.
"Master,I read the letter and it seems that it is damned near impossible to fail.Lord Du Jung certainly thought out every possible outcome in this battle. But,still, what bothers you lord Lu"?
"Sun Yuan Ci,I havent seen him recently since I have taken ill.He conquered all of the Han lands and should be here, where could my brother be"?
"Not to worry master,I have already sent a messanger to search out for master Sun.Soon we shall know of his whereabouts and such. Also a kingdom by the name of Wo has rebelled and attacked Sansu, over in Japan."
"Wait, what the hell is Japan?Anyways I do not care of this Wo as it is no concern of Zhao's.Send a messanger so that peace can be formed between us and them,as it looks like Wo will soon beat Sansu."
Zhao Ping bowed and rode over to lord Du Jung, and asked permission to send a messanger to Wo to see if they would like to ally or atleast sign a non-agression pact.Lu Bu looked forward to the battle dissarray, soon, his chance to kill, will come.

Du Jung laughed a hardy laugh, the smoke arriving just before his loyal follower Jiang Wei. He went up to the man himself, looked into his eyes and then bowed to him. An Emperor Bowing to one man, even if only just this once! A grand section of his arsenal, his spy network! This was nearly the last one, and had done as well as Ba Zeng.
"I have waited too long for this day.. Go, go and fight the world with Kong Suo, he will lead the main assault. Go and kill all of Cheng, go and take the seal of glory in the name of Zhao..Good fortune in battle, be wary of the Cheng center.."
A messenger appeared, nodding to the Emperor who proceeded to walk from his generals, making his way outside and commanding several men. The twenty one cloaks were removed, bringing light to the Emperor's main plan. Twenty one catapults sat before him, the grand arsenal of the Han, the grand arsenal of his Grand Teacher, Ba Zeng. No longer would warfare be fought with swords, horses and sweat alone. No! Today he would forge a new path way, with the largest array of grand catapults in ages. They were very large, and had only one target. The men prepared their first ammo, logs that were dipped in oil quickly and shot out into the sky.. Yet how would they aim..?
They were on flat land practically now, and they could easily here the armies marching against each other, giving it the good fight for justice, and a new, united land. Zhutai had prepared for anything, and spent the entire night deciding upon what to do with the sudden, ominous fog. He drew up the perfect plan, knowing the fog all too well, and had used it in battles since he was but a boy defending his own lands. His Hawks, his eye in the sky, yet on the ground. None could tell where they were, and none knew what the possessed. A large, eight manned single. A ball, soaked in fire no bigger than thee feet. Each man gathered up two chains with hook like ends upon the end. They let it rest near the ground and held it somewhat tightly. It was lit and then the men threw it high in the air, now only fifty to 100 feet out from the Cheng army, cloaked in what bushes they could find. The ball was hurdled high into the air, the men pulling tightly upon the hooks and raising it up and sending it hurling in the air, toward the Cheng lines.. Yet it blew up before impact, high in the sky, its shock wave and bang deafening. They now had a direction, and could decipher the area it was in..
A man arrived in the camp, another man with him. They had counted out the paces to their comrades position, and were now here in all their glory. Friendly fire would be certain, but so would be the death of many Cheng lives... The logs were set ablaze and sent through the foggy sky, never disappearing from sight. They would hit close to the Cheng army, they would hit its center, they would hit around their allies and they may even take out one. But they most certainly could hit the huge, open spear wall.
The cavalry was sent out, two hundred imperial guards, two hundred militia and one hundred marines all riding war horses, equipped with battle robes, composite bows, pikes and embossed shields. They were fast, deadly and one of the most powerful units on the ground. Behind them were three hundred and fifty Grim Reapers, riders equipped with glaives and nothing more. They were faster than any man or horse with armour, and they were only here to knock the enemy off their horses, and aid the slaughter. Behind these troops were another unit of cavalry, eighty of Du Jung's famed Hell's Angels and one hundred assault horsemen.
The Glaives would arrive first and come to their ally Jiang Chao, who was currently outclassed by the horsemen coming his way and destroying his unit. They swept in, their weapons held expertly as their training payed off. The swiped, swept and destroyed the enemy cavalry who were far too caught up in their own slaughter to react with a proper defense. Behind them the Imperial Cavalry took pot shots at the enemy, using their height too shoot over Jiang Chao's infantry and also expertly aiming upon their front. They made several capable lines and also began to fire into the center of the Spear Wall, still moving slightly around the enemy. The one hundred black horsemen also drew up their crossbows and fired into the enemy lines, the troops incapable of doing a damn thing against them as they had spears, and nothing more. The Zhao cavalry laughed, tempting the spearmen to break their defense and charge at them, a mistake that will cost them their lives. The eighty Hells Angels moved to aid their ally Jiang Chao with Shibo, the Cavalry Commander. Each threw javelin and each killed a man with it, each drew up their sword and another Javelin and began to use both, killing horseman after horsemen behind the Grim Reapers.
Troops in play: 200 Imperial Guardsmen [Imperial Guards] (Kataphractoi Cavalry-Pikes-Composite Bows-Battle Robes-Embossed Shields) 100 Imperial Assassins [Marines] (Kataphractoi Cavalry-Pikes-Composite Bows-Battle Robes-Embossed Shields) 200 Imperial Horsemen (Kataphractoi Cavalry-Pikes-Composite Bows-Battle Robes-Embossed Shields)
350 Grim Reapers (Glaives) 100 Black Horsemen (Spears-Crossbows-Thatch Shields-Chain Mail-Horses) 80 Hells Angels [Berserkers] (Swords-Javelin Quivers-Thatch Shields-Chain Mail-Horses)
