*Sun Qi sees his men cant reach the crossbowmen, so he leads his 400 Fang Heavy Cavarly to meet up with rest of his forces. Moving his 500 Fang Heavy Cavarly out of archer, and catapult range. He orders his Swordsmen to meet up with Genjo's forces, and help scale the walls. His spear men, get in front of the Crossbowmen, in a spearwall. Qi's Crossbowmen then march towards the walls with the Spearmen in front. Once in range, the Crossbowmen start aiming at the men on the walls and shooting.*
Sun Qi: Genjo, scale the walls!
*Sun Qi's Crossbowmen are trying to give the ladders cover fire, so Genjo and Qi's swordsmen can climb the wall. Sun Qi prepares his cavarly, waiting for the gates to open.*

{OOC: Since you didn't note if I didn't get behind the castle or not, I'll presume I was successful and behind it. If not PM me, I shall change my tactics.
West Forest Unit- Harper Elite {Chariots}: Militia: Chariots, Leather Armor, Crossbows, Spears Total Members: 333
East Forest Unit- Chariots: Militia: Chariots, Crossbows, Spears. Original Members: 166, Current Members: 52
EDIT: I accidentally used the wrong name for Sun Qi}
Seeing as of how so many drivers had been killed, those who had been left without a driver would instantly jump ship. Whether spear men, or crossbowmen They all fled, hitching onto a allied cart only to be whisked away.
Much torment they would fall under from the ranged weaponry yet soon the many men sat behind the castle and in the woods and hills. All of which having been greatly demoralized they would slowly sink down within their carts, taking a moment to rest. Surely the movement into the woods had been a horrible idea.
It was amongst themselves they would now argue, however in the end they would agree. This battle would have little benefits for them if they was dead. Slowly they would ride their carts behind that of the city, the torches which offered ammunition up for the carts was now raised above their heads. All the while the men waving their arms and giving out shouts of surrender and a wish to talk with a representative of Cheng Yi. However the majority of these men stayed within the trees, only a single one baring a white flag walking out alone. His spear having had someone's boxers tied to them, properly stained from the effects of the ambush. A obvious flag of surrender. "Lord Cheng Yi, we of Keva Harper's army wish to lay down our arms. We see this lord Sun Qi had little planning when he invaded, no siege equipment at all did he bring that our men have seen." After all, they didn't know a fourth force had arrived. "We of Keva Harper's army, wish to retreat. Our main body resides a little while away, let us regroup with them and we shall leave. To after this battle to find the bodies of our dead and give them burial. Will you grant us this? For we are defeated men."
However it would be that the city answered with any form of hostility, the single man would flee into that of the woods, only to hop onto his carts and the remaining carts to whisk away deep into the woods.

Genjo could hear someone in the background screaming his name. "I am scaling the walls you idiot..." was all he could say.
His men continued to climb the ladders, and engage the defenders on the walls.
"Right, get ready to climb the walls too..." Sanzo ordered Qi's swordsmen, "and get ready to open the gate house as soon as your up."

(Uh.. The fort is burning, has like six people in it and is soon to go up in smoke. I'll assume that last part Matt meant your heading for the city?) The remaining chariots flank the city walls and a group of fifty crossbowmen follow their every move, twenty five running ahead and then firing while the others catch up and move past them, firing their bolts after they've made some distance. The two groups repeat this primitive form of covering for each other as the snake across the castle walls. Out front the catapult fire continues to pound into the advancing spearmen lines, tearing small pieces of the unit away constantly. All four catapults now fire upon it, and when the unit comes into arrow range arrows will also begin to crash into it. "Ahahaa! No one takes my city, I fought for this place, I will keep it!""My lord! Reinforcements have arrived!" "It's about time, they should know what to do! Now, horsemen, infantry out from the walls you go, crash into the enemy, we will pincer them!"The gates are thrust open upon the southern wall, horsemen after horsemen appearing out from them, five rows of twenty each. They all break off and form two lines of fifty each, spears pronged out before them, swords drawn at their sides. Ten feet lies between each line, more than enough room to work with if they plowed into the enemy forces. Their lines are very loose, lots of space between every horsemen on the line as well. The infantry comprised of men with two swords and thatch shields are behind them, running and trying to keep up with the forces. They charge to meet Sun Qi's spear line. The gate doors won't shut apparently, no one even attempting at fixing them... It is rumored Cheng Yi is upon the front lines with his horsemen, his large spear before him.. A voice rings out from the northern hills/forests as Cheng Yi leaves, a crossbowmen finds its source and shoots in its direction.. Further south than all else, and within archer range appears a single tribal leader, one hundred riders with swords and thatch shields behind him. They bare a primitive chain mail called scale mail. Their leader is quite fearsome looking. He bears an arrow, and then shoots it off toward the rear lines where Sun Qi is moving. A note is tied to the arrow, it reads: King Daheo of Bei Ping wishes you no harm yourself, or anyone that attacks Cheng Yi, the old fool. He is quite useless, and too egoistical to see it. The times of a newer united north are coming, and we can not have such fools running around a muck. I am here to serve you.The horsemen charge forward, aiming for Yi's horsemen lines.. (You can control them from now on Matt, those are the troops you will receive since your 'practically' starting up with something. And for doing all of this too. ) Cheng Yi: -30 Crossbows on walls facing south -20 Crossbows moving with the chariots Sun Qi: Spearmen/X bow line- 20 Spearmen Forests- 20 Horsemen Keva: 10 Charioteers

*Sun Qi reads the note and smiles. When the 100 new horsemen meet up with Qi and his Fang Heavy Cavarly, Qi gives the order. His Crossbowmen, and Spearmen pull back, the Spearmen fighting as they withdraw. They're to withdraw down the road, a safe distance.*
*Sun Qi then gives the order, him and his 400 Fang Heavy Cavarly, and the 100 Barbarian Horsemen charge Chang Yi's forces outside the gates. They begin battling them,. giving the Spearmen and Crossbowmen time to retreat. Sun Qi leads personally, cutting down soldier after soldier, looking for the old enemy leader, Cheng Yi.*
Sun Qi: Where is Cheng Yi?!

Late into the battle, the chariots could be seen fleeing. Shooting out from under the corpses of their allies, however the volley of cross bolts slowly ate away through the shielding and into sweet flesh, the crossbowmen seemingly fixed upon the drivers. Those that was forced to stop from driver's death would soon be rescued however as the chariots would turn about. And at once charging, driver and a occupant of the cart firing their bolts at that of the enemy. Once the distance closed, quickly the spear men would hop out of the carts, engaging the enemy in melee while the carts would ride about, trampling their foes. Occupants of the carts firing, as well as the drivers when possible. All the while the carts which had been left driver less would be rushing to the scene, joining in the melee as well or joining in the with the bolts. However the crossbowmen would be ever moving, loading onto the chariots. While the spear men fought, however once all the enemy laid dead, or all the cart less loaded slowly they would retreat to their carts as well. Picking up their course.

"Right here you fool!"
Yells Cheng Yi as his lines smack into the five hundred or so horsemen. They falter as their numbers are small, the enemy capable of having one rider defend while the other attack. The second line divindes and pushes the flanks while the center is held up by Cheng Yi and his elegant spear, which he has already claimed three men with. He creates a fury and seeks out the enemy commander, hoping to kill the man before they are all truly lost. Their left flank nearly is destroyed as spearmen hurry off of carts and begin to replace the bolt fire form the chariots. The flank is saved by one hundred foot troops, men with two swords capable of defeating the spearmen and yet also defending against them with their thatched shields (which were secured to their left forearms). The other part of the infantry unit charges inbetween the cracks of the horsemen lines, usuing their speed and agility to dart in and fill up any holes, especially in the center. They begin to falter as well, but still are claiming several heads, their weapons capable of moving and doing more in the compact, tight frontlines. Crossbow bolts continue to fire from the nearby castle, as does the catapult fire continue to crush into the lines. But mainly those of Cheng Yi, especially his rear lines of infantry. Chaos has errupted in the capital..
Cheng Yi: 40 Horsemen 90 Infantry 20 Crossbows
Keva: 30 Spearmen (that hopped of the chariots) 10 Cross bows on chariots
Sun Qi: -50 Horsemen (not barb)

*Sun Qi orders the 100 Barbarian Horsemen to keep pressure on the enemy right flank. Qi then sends 50 Fang Heavy Cavarly to put pressure on the left flank, helping Keva's soldiers. Qi orders rest his Heavy Cavarly to keep the pressure on the center.*
*Waving his arm as a signal, Sun Qi's Fang Crossbowmen come back, and start picking off men on top of the city walls, trying to stop them from firing down on Qi's men. Sun Qi continues battling slash down soldiers, looking for Cheng Yi among the hundreds of soldiers fighting.*

(Let's wrap this up)
Cheng Yi looks through his older, matured eyes and sees his target, a powerful looking general with two imported swords, wielding them and pushing his troops back with every swipe of his finely crafted blades. He draws a dagger from his cloak and throws it at a horsemen just nearby him, piercing the young warrior's neck and causing him to drop to the ground. The powerful war lord then sends his grand white stallion off toward his enemy, the sun itself flying off from his grand horse as he coils his arms up, preparing for his final moments, hoping his old and tired body could be put to rest with one last charge. He saw no more of his men around him, nor did he look for them; he only saw Sun Qi and his purple cloak, his eyes two daggers stabbing at the younger commander. He'd be damned if he went to hell alone, this Sun kid would be forced to tag along! A startling war cry came out from Cheng Yi, his voice deep with the experience of hundreds of battles against the Zhao empire, his hands crafted for killing, his body a machine and his spear made for judging the fates of his foes. How would Qi stand up to judgment today?
The warlord's troops were pushed back, being killed effortlessly by the barbarian horsemen who destroyed their former allies with a care. Cheng Yi forced his horse to jump over another as the field seemed to slow, his body only feet from Qi's as his spear began to travel from his right shoulder, making its way towards his left, where his prize was placed. He was still in mid air, and Qi was already responding, dragging his right blade up, sending it into the very open side of his assailants body. Skin and flesh met as blood already spurt out from the wound, swirling down the blade and mixing with the blood of countless others. Cheng Yi's grip fell just as his spear did, crashing into the ground below his horse as his body clung to the animal, his arms doing nothing to help though.
A horn sounded and the remaining crossbows fled the castle, exiting through the west gate and heading west. They had destroyed the catapults as they left, the last order that they'd ever carry out under Cheng Yi..
No losses given out, Sun Qi effectively stopped the weak enemy units from doing anything to attack. The horsemen have been killed and the crossbows fled.
You can re-collect all but ten chariots, Keva. Sun Qi's army gains 40 Horses, 70 Swords, 70 crossbows and 90 spears.

*As the battle calmed down, and the enemy were defeated, Sun Qi looked around, his katanas covered in enemy blood. Scanning the battlefield, his army breathed hard, all trying to catch their breaths. Qi raised his katana in the air, and let out a great shout. His army raised their weapons in unison, cheering, and chanting Sun Qi's name.*
*Soon after, Sun Qi, Genjo Sanzo, and Keva Harper's armies entered the city of Yang Ding. They had the bodies outside of the city buried, as well as the burned down fort. All bodies inside the city were buried as well. Sun Qi had men go find any valuable men of talent to be brought to Qi.*
*Sun Qi with the two generals and several guards entered the palace and went to the throne room. Qi walked to the throne, and turned to his men.*
Sun Qi: Men, this is our first step to the destruction of Zhao!
*His men in the room cheered, and Qi went about getting the city in order.*

It would be with a grim face Keva Harper picked amongst the wreckage of the woods, for many hours doing so. Going to each men and taking a small medallion they wore, only to put it within a bag. As well as several of the living soldiers he still had would follow along, recovering any gear they could. Amazingly though only half of it still seemed decent, and so it would be recovered. With all this done, slowly they would real up to the army of Sun Qi a grim smile upon his face as he did so. "Today many of my men has died, all but two from my eastern party has fallen. A total of one hundred sixty five.. Which doubled equals three hundred thirty coins, then three hundred charge. I require six hundred teals my friend, may I suspect payment now?" he would slowly ask.
Keva has recovered all but 10 chariots and half of his spears and crossbows lost.

*Sun Qi looked a bit depressed at this, not having the gold right at the moment.*
Sun Qi: I'm sorry my friend, I do not have the payment at this precise moment. Though as soon as the funds come into my possession, you will get your payment. I hope this is ok?

With a faint smile the man would look at the warlord "I am already giving you a discount since you did not hold a city, I am charging you less for each soldiers death than it is to recruit a new one in his place. Now your saying you do not have my funds? For shame, what are you doing hiring mercenaries in such a sorry shape?" he would say with a shake of his head. "Well since you do not have my money now, what am I to do? Stay within your city in wait?" he would slowly coo.

*Sun Qi sighed thinking for a moment. Two of his soldiers were over his shoulders, swords at the ready in case Keva tried anything. Sun Qi then looked up to him.*
Sun Qi: Lord Keva Harper, I will pay you your gold when the next tax season comes. If you wish to stay in the city and wait until then, you're more then welcomed too.
