"Amazing, the craftsmen in this city trule amaze me. I feel though as in shock in awe, constantly... These are strong words, more or less for a report, captain."
"Yes my lord, but it is true, Xu Chang has the finest and hardest working men I've ever seen."
"Hmm.. then I suppose they will do. Go, rally up some of the greater craftsmen and order them to build a large work shop, give them ten men from our divison to help. This will be stepping stone to the future, this building here to improve conditons for such craftsmen. Take thirty gold, good luck to you all.. And captain."
"Yes my lord..?"
"I do not want to see your face until you have finished this project."
"Yes my lord."
The captain rushes off into the distance wielding a bag of gold instead of a sword, ten other men following him close behind as they made their way to the market. They requested the use of several men and payed each a piece of gold. They now had thirty men, and supplies were practically limitless. Such a project would take two days, but it would provide for hundreds of workers, for a life time.
In the castle several battlement and extra carriages remained from the most previous war. They had been here for a weeks, and were not taken to Wenchang, left behind to rot. Yet their wood was so fine and still sturdy, new equipment but just extra. He gathered up some men and made his way into two, nearly twenty carraiges and thirty make shift wood fences behind him. He delivered them to the craftsmen corner of Xu Chang, free, fine wood for the works and several extra tools left over from some earlier times. The fences were taken apart easily, the carriages proving a little harder to decapitate, but eventually a incredible pile of wooden logs, beams and other sorts of crafted materials was placed in the middle of the district. Hundres approached the unguarded lot, and then besieged it, every man taking as much as he could with him, the supply draining slowly. The entire market was boosted, and the people were surely happy with the recycled, yet new materials.
Later that day forty carriages with large stacks of wood in them were dropped off at the new building site. They were taken apart and a even greater pile stood before the workers than even this morning. However, this was not free, and still property of the government. The craftsmen had made up sketches all day, and eventually through delegation the new building was finally decided upon, its structure strong, its top thick and its sides long. It was nearly a fort, its size close to one at least. It spanned five hundred feet from one end to the other, eight hundred feet wide as well. It was huge, and soon became the talk of the town. People from the craftsmen district approached it the next day, and worked on it seemingly for free, in response to the free wood. One hundred grunts also appeared and began helping. Work was quick, fast and efficient, the building half built after the first day. All were surprised when it was finished in the next, astonishment upon the Central plains with such a goal and such a deadline finished in such a speed! Another 20 gold was given and handed out to some of the finer workers.
3000/5000 + gold + rp bonus = 250 ;P
