The Han's record on the state of the Empire (map) has been updated. The imperial dynasty wishes to know who the wako and cheng kingdoms will appoint as their prefects for their newly acquired regions, however.

The Han have crushed the forces of Liang Xing with Imperial Guards and the strongest troops the Empire could afford. Liang Xing no longer poses a serious threat in the West. HIs ambitious but stupid officer Ling Midang declares himself king of the west, though is now confronted with the Romans. Jin Pin, for his achievment in conquering Tian Shui in a time of weakness, is ordained the Han Minister of the West.

Japan, particularly the provinces of South Honshu, North Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu and Hokkaido, will be joining in the chaos soon. For those interested in being a ruler of Japan, please send me a private message. You must have at least 3 followers willing to serve you and must not currently control a kingdom or be a part of one.

The Han Imperial court's Cao Cao has given half of He Nai at the expense of stopping the Zhao Empire's campaign in the north and ruthless ways of dealing with Han loyalists. A treaty has been formed, or sorts.

Rui has fallen. Perhaps doomed from the start, the Roman kingdom could not withstand massive protest to their rule in the West, communication issues and transportation problems. It did not have the ability to properly correspond and receive orders from Rome and bloodlessly collapsed.

The Zhao forces our standing to their northern borders and blocking any troops from the Han's Chang An to reinforce Shang Dang or He Nai. A camp has been formed just outside of the military installment "Ping Yuan Castle."

Officers in Shang Dang can escape through the mountains to Chang'an or Henei, though they may face trouble with Zhao's blockade.

No. Yukimura was given safe passage through Luo Yang and Hei Nei, with consent from Wako, at the expense of all of his items and Gold. They have been distributed in the Battle Thread.

The Zhao armies have scouts in the north, south and west. Martial law of course has been placed upon Ping Yuan and the land is blanketed with the gaping view of the Emperor. The Mountains between Chang An and Shang Dang are unbearable to large parties, and thus one must move through Ping Yuan. However, this can not occur with the Zhao armies abundant and men watching the He Nai borders, as it has been fortified and brought attention in doing so. The Emperor proclaims this message:
"All officers, officials, generals and servants of the Han Kingdom who flee from the northern quarters shall be killed immediately if found fleeing. If they submit with a white banner high above them and nearly alone, a single man, lieutenant or captain may be allowed to leave to return to the Han. (Npc) The officers, officials, servants or generals will be kept safe near the Emperor away from all troops who seek their heads. He gives you his word as proclaimed Lord of the Heavens. All captives will be given quarters and treated like guests, returning only after hostilities have been cleared or a possible payment has been made."
Signed The Emperor Of Zhao, Zhutai..
I suggest you take it, otherwise my scouts will find you, as this is how games like these work. I won't kill you and I'll let you go as soon as this is all cleared up.

In the year 205 AD, there was an eclipse of the Sun.
The Empire was imperiled. The defender of the Han dynasty, Cao Cao, was being overrun by mere rogues and a commoner proclaiming himself, without any legitimacy, to be an Emperor in his own right. Emperor Ling was growing ill and became increasingly stressed. After the Marquisate of Rui had died and chaos began to sweep through the Rui lands (which were allied with the Han), Emperor Ling sent out his 15 year old son Emperor Shao with Commander of the Infantry Corps Liu Yan (in charge of 2,000 Imperial Guards and auxilary forces numbering 3,500 Xiongnu Barbarians) to move west to try to quell some of the rebellion in that area.
Rui collapsed internally however and Emperor Ling had not heard of the condition of his son. Thinking himself a failure in his later days, Emperor Ling's sickness took a turn for the worse in the middle of 205 AD, and finally he died, leaving Luoyang in chaos and with only a 500 Imperial Guard garrison defending it. Ling's son Shao, meanwhile, had actually been fine in the West. There Liu Yan had recruited 1,000 marines to serve in the army, and had accomplished the task of bringing order to the West through the conquest of numerous powerful bandit and barbarian groups. When Imperial messengers had not brought news about Emperor Ling or the affairs of Luoyang, however, Shao assumed the worst and set up a new government in Chengdu. There, with 2,000 Imperial Guards, 3,000 Xiongnu Barbarians and 1,000 Marines, Shao managed to spread Han influence and establish Han authority in southern Yizhou.

Sansu's leadership has been passed on to Hizoku in a bloodless coup that resulted in a swift transfer of power. Doragon has surrendered to Hizoku and agreed to serve him. The relative peace in Japan has apparently not been altered by the regime change, and Empress Himiko of Southern Honshu has outright stated that she accepts the new regent of the north Hizoku.
