The enemy had 3,200 troops, though they were not all that well trained and many of them were divided up into patrol regiments. The fog that had engulfed China made it difficult to see, so the leader of Zi Tong, a certain Junius Crescentius, who had taken over 3 territories of what had used to be the Rui state, divided up his forces.
Now Crescentius was a fat man. He liked to dine and enjoy himself. He was not with his army in Zi Tong, but was rather far away in a royal palace somewhere in Yizhou. He wanted to make his own 'Southern Rui' dynasty, but was incompetent and very corrupt. In Zi Tong his forces were leadership and divided. They were in patrol squads of-
1,000 Pirates with Spears 1,000 Militia with light chain mail and throwing knives & 1,200 Militia on Armoured Horses with Swords
His army in Zi Tong wasn't anything impressive since most of his troops were south.

*messagers had told Jin of the enemys numbers thought out number 3 to 1 Jin had tactics and better supplyed and trained men to compensate for the smaller army. as well he heard about there leader not being there meaning they would most likely falt if put agaist unbelivible odds and this fog was the key. Jin split his groups into two one with Him composes of his Unbreakables and raiders the other was with Marie Chan which had his STU and his extra forces. Marie Chan's attack was focus on the 1,000 Pirates with Spears they found there forces patroling away from the other two forces. the STU took out there Com. longbows which were then lit on fire, and fire all around and on the 1000 Pirates, the fact that the arrows where on fire would disperse the fog around the enemy and make the next volley of arrows that much more deadly, the marines stood slightly away from the STU force that way if the pirates charge at them they could flank them from the side Jin Pin's attack was aimed at the 1,000 Militia with light chain mail and throwing knives, he split the raiders and the unbreakables into two diffent forces that would boxs there troops inside there area of attack looking like this U U U l \/ R=> EE <=R R=> EE <=R R=> EE <=R /\ l U U U U as 75 Beserkers- Battleaxes,Horses,Leather Armour charged through them going left 100 Beserkers-Glaives,Horses,Leather Armour charged though them going right then turned quickly attacking again, with the fog hiding them it would make them think the force is bigger then what they really are, at the same time 180 I.Guard-Pikes,Plate Mail,Embossed Shields,Heavy Javelin Quivers,Armoured Cavalry go through them going down and 100 Storm Troops-Pikes,Horses,Embosed Shields,Platemail go through them going up following the same attack pattern the raiders our doing. this would quickly demorals the enemy and make them surrender for dieing for the sake of some fat man that doesn't care about them is pointless*

The fire attack did a little damage, but a river happened to be nearby which the commander of the pirates managed to use to quell the flames. Still, the pirates were confused as to where the fire was coming from, and over 200 men perished in the flames Marie Chan's army had started. At last the pirates, being fired on and picked off by Marie's imperial guards, managed to find their enemies and began combat with them. Marie's army was outnumbered by them, but although they were imperial guards, their training might not enough to beat the number advantage their enemy had. Because of the fog, there were numerous casualties on both sides.
Meanwhile Jin Pin's forces charged against a seperate militia unit. The charge made it seem like Jin Pin's unit outnumbered their enemies, and furthermore Jin Pin's enemies were armed with throwing knives, which were effective against infantry but not armoured cavalry. Many heads were taken, but the unit was not beaten. Throwing knives were aimed at the imperial guard pikemen, causing quite a bit of damage since Jin Pin was quite outnumbered.
Remaining (enemy)-
778 Pirates with Spears (slightly disoriented, but excited that they face an enemy with much less troops) 630 Militia with light chain mail and throwing knives & 1,200 Militia on Armoured Horses with Swords
Remaining (Jin Pin)-
150 I.Guard-Pikes,Plate Mail,Embossed Shields,Heavy Javelin Quivers,Armoured Cavalry
85 Storm Troops-Pikes,Horses,Embosed Shields,Platemail
Jin's Special Tactical Unit
80 I.Guard-E.Sword,Composite Longbows,B.Robe (demoralized because of how outnumbered they are) Ballistas: 2 Arbalests: 2 50 Engineers-Slings
Jin's Raiders
62 Beserkers- Battleaxes,Horses,Leather Armour 90 Beserkers-Glaives,Horses,Leather Armour
Jin's extra forces 550 Marines- Swords

Meanwhile...
An envoy from Emperor Shao approaches Jin Pin after having heard that he is invading Zi Tong. Knowing that Jin Pin was his father's general, and allegedly the 'Han General who Conquers the West,' the envoy asks Jin Pin the following,
"You are invading the war-torn lands of Yizhou now commander, but do you do this in the name of the Han or for yourself. If the former, Imperial Protector Liu Yan might be willing to send troops to aid your cause..."
(The Han is like the barbarians. You can ally with them and receive troops based on a dice roll. Since you already are affiliated with them, allying with them would give you better possibility for more soldiers from them).

Watching the Fog swirl around the armies of Jin pin as they attacked and fell back, slowly confusing the armies of Junius Cruscenius Xou laughed to himself. Jin for as long as he had known him was always a hasty player of the game of war. However unlike most other men he was good at making quick descisive descisions. Xou had promised to help and he would keep his word. However not having any good men at the moment Xou decided to sent his ranged warriors however amateur they may be to help with Jins attack. Therefore he sent his two hundred crossbowmen to Jin Pin to help him as he deemed worthy. * 100 Spearmen 200 Swordsmen 200 crossbowmen (sorry) about that. im new

Having commited himself to the battle Xou now deemed it the time to throw in his entire force with the forces of Marie Chan. He Formed his troops into three ranks. The first row being 100 Spearmenmen who were ordered to charge the spearwielding pirates with as much speed and force as possible. The purpose of this suicide run being that they would take the blows and act as a shield for the 150 Swordsmen who would immediatly follow the Spearmen's charge about 20 paces behind. ((The idea is that the spearmen after having slain some of my spearmen will not have enough room to fight against swordsmen.))After the surviving Spearmen make contact they will fall behind the swordmen and help in the offence from behind the wall of swords. 50 swordsmen would act as my guard as i watched 200 paces behind my crossbowmen. All my crossbowmen will be standing with Jin Pins archers assisting them with firing at the enemy.

Marie Chan tactics *after there forces were morally weaken and outnumber, the sight of friends made out up of Xou's forces brought a fight back into the troops, they fell back from the enemy to regroup,as they retreated the 550 sword marines men came in stoping the enemy from attacking the IG and started attacking the enemy spearmen geting close enough so they could not use there spear but they could still use there swords. as this was going on the engineers started seting up the arbalests and ballistas in front of the STU.*
Jin's answer and the fog of war *as the forces attack the enemy knive throwers, the attacks stop the forces stop attacking then the 150 unbreakibles with Heavy Javelin Quivers started throwing javelins at the enemy kill more then one on a single javelin but far enough to stay safe from the Knives, the other troops in the area waited to the side for one last Charge after they ran out Javelins* *Then Jin Turned to the officer and said* you are from the han?? i fought for the leader for a long time i conquer land in the name of the han, my men died for the han and i was left by Cao Cao to fight a enemy 5 time bigger then i and though i fought hard we had to retreat, yet...i still follow what the han thought and i will bring that in when i take this land the kingdom of Jin-Han, if your king wishes to help me i will accept it whole heartedly if not i don't mind
*Jin then contuned with the battle*

(NP Xou.)
The backup fire from Xou Paitan's soldiers greatly assisted Jin Pin's army. Though Xou's soldiers charged recklessly at the enemy, it was enough to baffle the pirates who were fighting. Who were these soldiers? They seemed to appear out of thin air. Was the enemy using magic? It was all confusing in the fog, and many were slain, once more, on both sides, but this time the pirates were at a disadvantage, and were suddenly wondering whether to retreat and call for backup from more pirates of the Riverlands. A few of them retreated to call for the other patrol...
Meanwhile the Zi Tong troops with throwing knives began to rout. They could not compete with superior heavy javelins, and some of them even began throwing knives at their allies because the fog blocked their vision and made it hard to tell who was an enemy and who was a comrade.
Remaining (enemy)-
380 Pirates with Spears (slightly disoriented, but excited that they face an enemy with much less troops) 310 Militia with light chain mail and throwing knives & 1,200 Militia on Armoured Horses with Swords
Remaining (Jin Pin)-
135 I.Guard-Pikes,Plate Mail,Embossed Shields,Heavy Javelin Quivers,Armoured Cavalry
70 Storm Troops-Pikes,Horses,Embosed Shields,Platemail
Jin's Special Tactical Unit
55 I.Guard-E.Sword,Composite Longbows,B.Robe (demoralized because of how outnumbered they are) Ballistas: 2 Arbalests: 2 50 Engineers-Slings
Jin's Raiders
57 Beserkers- Battleaxes,Horses,Leather Armour 70 Beserkers-Glaives,Horses,Leather Armour
Jin's extra forces 550 Marines- Swords
Xou Patians forces
130 swordmen (ripping through spearmen enemies but suffering casualties due to vision difficulties) 200 crossbowmen (at the moment they are firing but the enemy has not engaged with them) 65 Spearmen (confused and struggling)

400 Beserker Spearmen march from Chengdu to support Jin Pin. They may be commanded by him next turn. The Han is concerned about Jin Pin's eagerness to conquer the land in his own name, but is relieved to have an ally...

*after the last attack Jin felt that he would win the battle but worryed knowing there was an another unit of enemys close by, Just then the 400 berserker spearmen came. Jin quickly order them to do a quck attack on the enemy that had yet to be attacked, but he told them as soons as they killed a unit to take there horse and use it, giving them a more fare playing field for the enemy was many but they are very poorly trained, knocking them off there horses kill them was a smarter mover for they would then have alot of horses after the battle*
*the arbalist unit was ready it began shooting at the pirates troop just out of sight like a line of archers fireing endlessly at them this would make them surrender , as it began fireing the marines made to walls arounded the enemying pining the enemy in the line of fire, the STU unit stood behind the arbalist unit and fired as well*
*at last the enemy was being overcome by the javilens now was time for the final attack on this group of confused miltia. the unbreakalbes not throwing javilens and the raiders made one last charge at the knive throwers this time after chargeing them they stay there killing them until none stood alive*

As Xou watched the battle, a messenger ran to him holding a page which had the picture of a solitary balista missle and 10 crossbow bolts racing in the same direction. Immediatly after receiving this page Xou ordered his crossbowmen to move behind Jins arbilists and balistas and that once they were positioned they were to resume firing upon the enemy. He also ordered his Spearmen to regroup and attack the spear wielding pirates on their right flank. To the Swordsmen he sent the message to keep up their efforts and that releif would come soon. This was one of those times when the dice ran wild. He only hoped that they landed on his number
